- My wife said that she saw this corner house with tall grass that needed to be mowed down. So the next day, I knocked on the door, and a man answered. I asked him about his yard, and he told me that he had just started a new job and had just been very busy getting established with it. The lawn was clearly forgotten about and was pushed down the priority list. He was embarrassed that his grass was so tall, and with him having a corner lot, it made the appearance even worse. He said that he wanted to hire a neighborhood kid that could help him out with reoccurring service. However, due to it being overgrown, it would need to be cut and cleaned up first. So that's exactly what I did. I mowed and edged his overgrown, tall grass to perfection. I hope you enjoy!

I think more landlords should include lawn and pool service in the rent. Many tenants do not own the proper equipment and neglect rental homes and the neighborhoods suffer as a result.

I agree. All the homes I've rented, I had to cut the yard myself.
I've only rented one time in my life, but in exchange for me cutting grass, making improvements, and generally maintaining the property, my rent was reduced because of my contributions. The owner was elderly, lived out of state. I would buy whatever supplies I needed, paint or whatever and he would reimburse me, then I would either be the labor or hire someone and I paid that part. I lived there for about 8 years, we had a great relationship. He would come down once a year to visit family and stop by the house. He always liked the improvements, liked what I had done with the yard. It was horribly overgrown when I moved there and took a couple years to really get it looking good, but he was pleased.
I enjoy watching you sympathetically cut back bushes and trees etc rather than flattening everything in sight unlike most other mowing channels

Glad to see the edging before you mow. That is how I grew up doing our lawns. Never understood mowing first then edging.
Markmessner4554 edging is fine if the grass is short like that but when it’s so tall that the person edging is sawing at it mow it down then edge. You are spending a lot of energy on something that to me is needless. He goes over it with the trimmer and I’ve seen others go over the edging with the trimmer and go deeper? Not sure why that’s done but it all comes out nice. It’s spending all your time and energy edging something that you can do faster easier cutting first.
I agree. Mowing first then edging. Otherwise you're blowing the edging, then blowing the mowing part, then edging again, then blowing again. It's a waste of manpower, equipment and battery power.

I wish you guys were in the high desert in California because I realized when you get a certain age and you’ve done a lot when you were younger, you just can’t do anymore and yeah, I’m at that point but for the weeds, I got all decomposed whatever and now the weeds are coming throughI got it four years ago so I figured that’s why they’re coming through 2019. What an awesome job Fill. That is what we need - edging. My son-in-law mows, but that is where it ends! The front isn't a big lawn, but still edging would really spruce it up. I don't think the weed eater is working either. Just drives me nuts!

I really appreciate all the detailing…trimming, edging, blowing, clipping bushes…it makes all the difference. But I especially appreciate that you pick up the grass clippings as you go! To me there’s no real reason to mow and leave the long grass laying all over the yard if you’re not going to rake it up! You are doing it the perfect way! Such a pleasure to watch your transformations!

i don't know why but i absolutely LOVE when you clean up the edges of the sidewalks with a blade. i don't know how this instrument is called, but it's so exciting in every video! cut the edge, clean it with a shovel and polish it with a leaf blower. so neat

Fill I watch several of these types of channels on CZcams but I wanted to just say that you do a fabulous job every time. Those other channels don’t take the time to put finishing touches on the yards and sidewalks like you do. This video right here is a perfect example of why a person should go through the edging process more than just once. ( side note : as I was leaving this comment you began explaining the importance of a good edging job 😂👍👍)
Now if the other guys would just watch a couple of your videos then they too would do a proper edging job.

Thanks for helping people out. I see neglected yards everywhere in my home town, and it's because most people just can't manage. The one thing that sets you apart from most of these other lawn services is that you "catch" the grass clippings at the end of the job, where clippings don't need to be left in. It just makes for a better finish.
