heartbreaking treasure found metal detecting Seal Beach during a low tide. 2 rings and a 18k not so gold cross and a lot of coins found using my Minelab Equinox 800 with the 15" coil.

Ever since you found the gold chain in the sock, I never let one go uninvestigated. One day while checking one I got no beeps or chirps and was about to walk off but a little voice in my head wouldn't let me. I picked it up and turned it inside out revealing $68 in cash. Just because a sock doesn't beep, doesn't mean it isn't full of treasure.

Your in Long Beach, Calif. I was raised there. Seal beach was where I had my very first jellyfish attack. I was a kid back then, but since that day I have NEVER been back to Ocean water again. And I’m 63 now. Them jellyfish taught me a lifelong lesson.

That pocket knife is a Columbia River Knife and Tool Septimo worth about $60 and someone is pissed they lost it for sure. Great finds all the time!

Jim right where you found that Crucifix is where I found a Rose Gold Diamond ring last year. It's a bummer that the Crucifix wasn't solid 18k, but still a really cool find. Keep up the great videos and maybe I'll see you on the beach sometime.

I hunted on Kadena Air Force Base today and found a whole pouch full of Nickels! They ring the same as the Japanese one dollar coin! Fun hunt, stay out of the water.

Growing up in the 70s and 80s, my guess is that that big gold crucifix belongs to an older Italian guy. Maybe someone else found the chain. It’s a shame they got scammed on the 18k!

Hey Jim,,,The Cross you found in this Episode with the Fake 18k Stamp. Well check this out. I live up here in Tuolumne ca, and there's a Black Oaks Casino here in town and across the way there's a gas station,BEAR CREEK. ANYWAYS I stopped to get gas in my work truck and had a worker with me and 2 Arab ladies we're driving in separate car's stopping and asking people that they need gas money too get home and they we're using 18K rings as a pond too get the money and they had kids with them. I looked at some of the rings and it just sounded too good too be true. They went as low as 20 bucks for one and my buddy that was with me I did up buying 1. Anyways the next day he took it too a Jeweler and they told him it was fake. LOL 😂. Anyways I seen that cross you found and it reminded me that day how my buddy got Scammed . What do you run your sensitivity at? What's your max sensitivity? And what do you run your sensitivity at?

I adjust sensitivity to run at the highest stable setting and depending on the location sometimes I adjust up and down while gridding. So I never really use one sensitivity, I am continuously making those adjustments trying to keep it as high as possible but stable.

Hey Jim what kind of coin tumbler do you use, my harbor freight double barrel took a dump, so I'm looking to get a new one. wondering what you use and do you like it? I found what I refer to as "Ghetto gold" a chain marked 14k Italy that is chipping away the plating. I too feel sorry for anyone who gets taken by fakes, especially when they lose it and I find it and almost have a coronary thinking it is the real deal.

At a jewelry store I overheard their vendor talking to the owner about how much jewelry is being marketed with hallmarks like 18k, 925 silver, etc and in reality, all they are is plated brass.😔If its a price too good to be true, beware! And most of all buy jewelry from reputable sellers!
