I never understood why Moriarty did not consider Molly as one of Sherlock's friends.
I like to think that Moriarty actually cared for Molly and didn't want to kill her. When Irene Adler said that disguises always showed who you truly were, I think that could apply to Moriarty when he dated Molly as a cover. Then again, it's just a theory.

He doesn't say Molly because he doesn't want to draw attention to her. She told him that she doesn't count, and Sherlock realized that Moriarty thought she didn't. He even tells her that later. As he's getting ready to jump her adds her to the end of his list of people to apologize to.
sherlock's acting in this is amazing! no not benedict, sherlock. he made moriarty believe he was 1 step ahead, when allll the time he was 5 steps behind. moriarty seriously underestimated sherlocks intellect and sherlock played along until the very last second, fooled not only moriarty but also all of us, the viewers, too (until it got revealed in season 3), truly amazing.
He did the same thing to Thanos in endgame
Except it never actualyl revealed how he did it because Moffat is so much of a hack now that not providing satisfying answers is a 'twist' to him.

By virtue of it never being confirmed how Sherlock survived, and there being zero evidence within any of the events of season 2 to suggest that Sherlock had a plan for what he needed to do, this praise is meaningless.

Moriarty got careless in the very end. He admitted the fact that he can call off the assassins thru subtext that he said when he was boasting about his victory. Sherlock remained level headed all the way and won.

He doesn’t. He cares about both very much but this was to test if Moriarty knows about how important Molly is to him or not and it turns out Moriarty didn’t know how important Molly is to Sherlock which is why Sherlock used Molly in his plan.

This version of sherlock holmes is pretty cool- and yet... it focuses on Sherlcoks' brilliance and shows us almost every step of the way to the mystery's solution.
The story is no longer a mystery, but a talent show for sherlock. those who want to read the books from watchign the show.... are most likely to be disappointed.
Robert's sherlock is more accurate to the books. This one is still cool tho
This one is an adaptation in the 21 century. It’s something very fresh and new but still very much Sherlock Holmes. There were many episodes with mystery yet with many tiny hints sprinkled out which I discovered on rewatch. It’s amazing.

Actually they ruined it in Season 3. It would have been much better of Moriarty actually got the best of Sherlock.
It would make the story more grounded, that Sherlock Holmes is not the superhumanly intelligent person. He too can be fooled.
You are right but it should be noted that Sherlock's explanation of the event seems flawed. For example, he said he couldn't predict Moriarty would kill himself. So if Sherlock had planned his suicide all along, how exactly did he plan to stop Moriarty from watching the entire thing. Apart from this, if Mycroft had arranged for Moriarty's killers to be despatched, then why Sherlock would have to orchestrate his suicide in the first place? I think he just exaggerated the way he faked his death in order to make others believe that he hadn't been beaten. After all it wouldn't have been the first time Sherlock lied to avoid embarrassment. For example Sherlock kept lying throughout S02 ep. 2 that the solution was in the sugar while in fact it was the fog and only admitted that he was wrong in the end.
I felt like I was watching the dark knight when seeing this episode.

if you look carefully, sherlock is trying to see which of the 18 plans was possible. he didn't want to fake his death, so lazarus was probably the doomsday scenario, but he didn't expect moriarty to shoot himself hence why he tried to threaten moriarty beforehand

He just wants to show off his intelligence and get high on crime. He likes to get physical. Slytherins are more reclined. Sherlock doesn’t have a problem interacting with people. I think he’s more of a Ravenclaw with hints of Gryffindor. Mycroft however, is a Slytherin. He’s not only smart but he likes to be in control. Mycroft values power. He knows what to do to allow him to stay on top. He also doesn’t like adventures like Sherlock does. And many slytherins aren’t very adventurous people either.

it took like 4 years to write season 3. which is amazing but i dont know..... moriarty and having a sherlock not so human and solving the classicas storis was to epic for me.
season 3 is more about relationships and sherlock evolving to a human. even the cases are more emotional
Sherlock was always human always a good man he is just willing to do what ever it takes to meet his end goal
Personally the show started to go down in after season 3.season 4 especially the last episode was a bit supernatural and fantasy.
