- In this video, we will explore all that makes Sarasota Florida the best place to be on the gulf coast of Florida. Sarasota has been in the news quite a bit and voted as the best place to retire and one of the best places to live in all of the US. Many people have moved here, especially over the last 2 years. The real estate market has gotten competitive in Sarasota and there is a reason people want to live here.

Well young lady a very excellent video.I have lived here for 30yrs.and am a long distance cyclist so I know and have riddened all these places numerous times.Precise and practical video.I would add it was not an Indian Myth about the hurricanes in reality 😉 It is because, at the Drum Circle spot,there is a Votex,or electromagnetic spot that repells the storms.Lived in NM.and there is a Votex at Chaco Canyon and other spots on the earth.

Yep its been nearly 3 months since I last posted. . Had problems with my Balance again but good news I am virtually 100 better now. Also we have been working with the Ukraine Refugees. Helping to home them in UK. We have just taken one on who had her village raised to the ground. So to cut a long story short I have started editing again and will start posting very soon . Lived here 20 years, everyone I know has at least one rental house. They are making tons of money. Way better than the stock market!

Sarasota was a wonderful sleepy little town when I lived there down on Ashton road. I left last year I had moved there from the East Coast fort Lauderdale and I can see from the time that I lived there that they're going to ruin the West Coast just like they did the east.... Now I live in a town no one can find satsuma Florida

If you are downtown Sarasota, it is all walkable. Once you are outside of downtown you will need a car. Check neighborhoods such as Gulf Gate and South Gate. They are a bit more affordable but in general, it is hard to get in below $400k for a single-family home.

Yes there are. Google RV parks in sarasot and you'll find a lot of info.
Yeah good luck finding one and of you do outrageous prices and many of them are senior only
@@thisismagacountry1318 huh? God made rv parks hard to get spots in, expensive and 55plus co.munities, God did that. No greed did that cause as a local if I want an annual spot they would make more money off snowbirds for a few months than me a whole year

It’s completely beautiful here but at the same time it’s Overly expensive! Plus it’s extremely boring if you’re a young person there is no clubs no DJs except one club in town on Main Street. And let’s talk about red tide riptide happens once a year in the Gulf of Mexico it is very toxic and very dangerous. When I moved here in 94 it was beautiful the water was blue and now it’s green. Going out to eat there are many restaurants that are overpriced. Schools are overpopulated. When we talk about the truth
I'm gonna be totally straight with you- I have not watched any of your videos yet. However, you are clearly totally against anyone moving to Florida, specifically Sarasota. I'm completely willing to accept that your reasons are valid. But here is the BUT: where can anyone move/live in this country, or any for that matter, unless they are VERY RICH, where there aren't issues? I understand that crime is A REAL PROBLEM!!!!! It is!!! But the sad, sad, sad, reality is that our awesome government is creating a worsening problem by the day and there aren't very many places to live where most people won't have to consider how they will be affected.
So, this is what I want to know: is the crime there in Sarasota in certain neighborhoods? Are people generally safe just going about their business? Yes, I understand there is crime. But can a person just live there and mostly, if not completely, avoid getting mugged or robbed or whatever?
I ask because I am in California and I want to leave this mess of a state so badly! Sarasota is one of the places that has looked good to me for various reasons-not the hurricane ones! Moving across the country is super challenging so I am asking you to give me REAL info that isn't about getting likes or clicks. Thank you!
I am not sure why you believe I am against anyone moving to Sarasota? I live here and love it. You just responded to a video that obviously celebrates Sarasota. Crime is subjective and a realtor also shouldn't answer that question. Check out websites such as www.neighborhoodscout.com/fl/sarasota/crime, or better yet, call the police station. The info on this channel is pretty straightforward and I am not one to sugarcoat. If you are interested in the West Coast of FL, nothing substitutes coming to visit and checking out the area to get a feel for it. I wish you the best of luck with your next home search.

Used to be nice but now too much development and traffic has really lowered the quality of life😩
Find a paradise and invite thousands of people to live there, no more paradise. Check the water quality reports, the bay is unsafe to swim in most of the time, not to mention the endemic problems with red tide that make you vomit close to the beaches.
