Memorial Day Flossmoor 2024

Flossmoor residents gathered at the island downtown for the annual Taps Across America ceremony. Village Trustee Jim Mitros extended greetings from Mayor Michelle Nelson, who could not attend this year. Trumpeters Joey Bonanotte, Rocco Bonanotte, Sarah Whitlock, Annie Ford, Charlie Wachtel, Kelly Cooper and John Whitlock sounded taps, and the Bel Canto Community Choir sang the theme songs from each military branch.
