I swear, it's shit like this that makes American Dad leagues better than Family Guy. It might be the same type of humor, but at least AD doesn't go all in with the shock part and ruin the joke. In Family Guy, Peter would be the one who'd probably do this, and he'd come out of it either shot and shown with a grisly gunshot wound or covered in the kid's blood. But in AD, Bullock plays it smart and leaves the kid alone, not taking the joke too far.
