- Set off from Seathwaite for a night in my Alpkit Soloist near the Corridor Route; the best route to Scafell Pike in my opinion. An amazing sunset and cloud inversion. Headed further up into the clouds the following morning before dropping down into the Langstrath valley for a cooling swim in the river. A 17 mile walk with 3000ft of ascent.
Many thanks for watching - Dave

It would be really interesting to know what 2 people disliked about this amazing footage?? Are they not watching the same as me?
Once again exceptional footage. Great wild camp. I've just had a perfect wild camp on the top of Great End in perfect conditions! It was great watching your video knowing I was walking the Corridor route via Scarfell Pike this morning heading back to Seathwaite. Looking forward to your next brew with a view with milk ☕
Same said already, no overly yapping, no crap music and filming really improving.. I THK you sir!
Big thanks Steve 😎👍
Lambfoot Dub what a place 🤩
Absolutely superb! Without a doubt right up there with the best hiking/camping videos I've ever seen on CZcams..top class!! The barking you heard sounded very much like a vixen to me 🦊 .. probably the reason the sheep were very focused on the barking too 😁
Haha mate I was checking to see if anyone else thought it was a fox. As soon as I heard it I thought fox 👍
Omg Dave, simply stunning! The sunset, the cloud inversion, the swim, the silence. What an amazing adventure. This is possibly your best one yet. Really enjoyed this, and no doubt I will watch it many more times yet. Thank you for sharing 🙏
Perfect camping spot. And an amazing sunset.
Brilliant, just completely brilliant 😃🇦🇺🙌👏👍
Big thanks Max 🙏🏻
This solitude don't come easy you know !
How right you are Dave, the rewards are there for the taking.
The inversion was 'other worldly ',as you described it, I was half expecting Heimdall to manifest himself at the entry to Asgard and point the way to Bifrost, the Rainbow Bridge. He required less sleep than a bird and could hear grass growing in the meadows and wool on the back of sheep.
Lordy !
Belting video Dave as always. I just run out of superlatives for the Lakes.
ATB M8ty.
Mick.
That was a piece of pure magic. Thank you.
Great solitude comes with graft. What a cracking spot. Love alpkit stuff

Loved it another great video 👍
Another fantastic video, thanks for posting. I absolutely love a cloud inversion and you're right, it does look other worldly. I'm so envious of your wild swim. I've just got into wild swimming and that looked like a lovely spot for a dip.
Fantastic video Dave. Loved the cloud inversion, must have been a great experience to view that. Really enjoyed this one. Here’s to more!!
Nice weather 🤩😍amazing place

Incredible view. Your on top of the world. Great vid. thanks for sharing!
Outstanding Dave, great stuff! Brought back memories of morning inversions on Snowdon, Blencathra and the Crinkles. Magical. Cheers mate.
Blissful!! Hard graft but worth every breathless step
Great vid again.
fantastic 5*****
Love this one! each vid i have seen seems to be more well made and dare I say it more artistic! I agree about solitude, its so rare today to get somewhere that you can see no one and hear no sound made by people. Thanks for this one.
Wow! There's a lesson to learn here - if you put the effort in, you get the results. I admire your enthusiasm and respect for the wild places Dave, just brilliant. What an adventure that was. Thanks for taking us along.
An absolutely idyllic place and every camper’s dream pitch!😃👍🏻
WOW! Had An idea where you were heading to when you left the path but wasn't quite right. Realised when I saw that water exactly where you were and all I can say is BELTER! What a spot, and what a great film. Thanks for sharing mate!
Another mint video Dave, amazing inversion, yes I get it 😄 👍
Another great video, thanks for sharing. Fantastic views and lovely sunset!
Another fantastic film Dave,
The inversion and the colors of the sunset was amazing, that certainly was a brew with a view m8 certainly worth the climb.......I get it
I was planning on doing the corridor rout for my next wild camp, and this looks like a great spot to hold up for the night!
Bloody epic video fella, love watching em👍👍
Awesome vid. Was up the pike last week. I was shattered! 1st serious hike for a while. Amazing how unfit you get. Did the corridor route some years ago with my dad and it rained non stop so I'm seeing what I would've seen that day. What an amazing place.
All your vids are magic, good job chap.👍👍
Awesome camp Dave well out the way as well gorgeous cloud inversion and a super spot for a dip perfect 👍 atb daz
Simply breathtaking - I get it 😍
Awesome I’m really loving what you do 👍
Cracking video Dave. Beats the view of the campsite I'm staying at tonight 😁 Thanks for posting.
Beautiful Dave. 😍😍😍.
So much planing must have gone into that mate. The views over to Gable awesome. And then to get the mist and inversion - stunning. And theres a reason Langstrath was Wainwright’s favourite
Keep em coming Dave - wonderful stuff
First time watching your videos. Really enjoyed it, thanks
Love your channel, so knowledgeable about the area, and down to earth. Keep up the great vlogs...😊
Great vid.. scenery was spectacular. ..
Stunning walk dream of walking through a cloud inversion looked like you we’re camped at the side of a lake amazing 👍👍
Fantastic thanks for sharing 👍.
Great video love it amazing footage walking on the clouds, stay safe see you on the next trip
Top notch, was about that area a couple of weeks ago, great view up there and the sun shines till it bed time on that face
Best videos on CZcams. Thanks again for sharing.
🙏🏻
Another great video Dave, you are giving that Alpkit soloist some stick.. it must be much lighter to carry than the Hille looking at getting one myself for the summer month's as my Abisko lite 2 isn't exactly light but I do like the extra room for the winter dark nights . Keep them coming 😎👍
Your right about the lonely valley, I used it to bail in snowy bad weather once, it took some effort to negotiate safely down. Fantastic video as usual 👍
Fantastic video. If you catch an inversion up in the lakes it's such a privilege 👍 had that a few times.
By climbing higher you got the view above the clouds. All those other low level campers were in the clag. How different their experience will have been. Great video Dave. ATB.
Really enjoyed this! Amazing views 🥾Thank you
Awesome video thanks for sharing
Love this Dave! The cloud inversion was incredible, the thing is I desperately want to go up to experience this but it's so easy just to let you do it for us! 😂 Fantastic film mate please keep em coming! 👍
Wow what a sunset, my absolute favorite type of cloud formation. You definitely had it all with this one. Very well captured. Would love to find that spot 👌
Thanks Dave for another inspiring video, fantastic. Sorry to hear that things are very tough, hope things ease and pleased you find solace in the mountains.
Hi Dave, what a beautiful film again, I have just got home after spending 3 nights in Boot, managed to walk to Scar fell via Samsons stones, and fox's tarn but had to divert to Wasdale head as my mates knees were causing him pain!! The first pint of Guinness tasted so good and the Taxi back to Boot even better!! After travelling all day I should be in bed but got watching your film! Take care.
Loved it! I’m up there Saturday with my cousin. Thinking of starting in the Wast Water area. See if we can find solitude by 9pm. It’s gonna be a hot day. Can’t wait!
great video, I like it, thank you for sharing

Absolutely beautiful footage. Loved the loud sheep and the prospect of that noise all night! The sunset at 20:13 over Great Gable would be a screensaver to die for. Love the videos and can't wait to go through the channel for so many more up in the Lakes - Well done Dave - brilliant channel!
Really appreciate your comments🙏🏻. Glad you enjoyed it. ATB Dave
Great video. Beautiful part of the country. Stay healthy and keep up the great work. I have the soloist too, a great wee tent. Brave man in the water, it looked fresh.
