This was a very lucky find.Ive seen Sam before. The most sensible take on Unai.Wait ten years, there'll be a statue to him outside the Holte. We love him and are very greatful he came to our great club.He understands us and respects us and our history.
You don’t choose your club, Your club chooses you!
The statement about Unai Emery struggling with clubs after a couple of years is unfair, the fact that he's qualifed for European competition for 16 years in a row with multiple clubs & in multiple countries would suggest that that's clearly not the case,to qualify for any European competitions you've got to be high in the league or win a cup. After some very diffecult times & mismanagement at Aston Villa anything is better than what Villa fans have had to suffer during a long period of time,Unai coming in with his team has completely turned Villa around & we have a real togetherness at the club & everyone is pulling in the same direction,us Villa fans love Unai & we hope he will remain at Villa long term & bring us some success. Unai has a great manner about him that we can warm to & he's already got massive credit in the bank that it'll take a disaster or himself wanting to leave to exit Villa, but he's stated on many occasions that he wants to make history at our club & bring it to a level that the club hasn't been at for a very long time,in Unai we trust.!!... up the mighty Villa!!!! 😊
No fans other than Arsenal fans are ever telling us about the 'Unai Emery cycle'. No Valencia, Sevilla, Villarreal, PSG fans are saying this to us. Great video though, intersting details
Exactly this. It's just Arsenal fans. BTW he did better in his only full season than Arteta did in his first three seasons.
@@ijl-cy9pp yeah I can't see where the 'cycle' he describes happened other than Arsenal. Arsenal fans pretend they know more about Emery than we do even though he's managed us for longer 😂
@@samuelloification2749 they're just trying to convince themselves they were right to get rid of Emery. It's why they mostly hate Martinez now as well. Really it just betrays the fact that really they know they'd have won something by now if Emery was still there.
They always pull the can't manage big players excuse too. However it was Edu not Arteta who sorted the Arsenal dressing room after Emery left and he convinced the board to stop backing their investments in ego players with bad attitudes over the managers. Prior to that the Arsenal board bent over backwards for the likes of Ozil and Aubameyang despite the fact they were doing absolutely nothing for the club.
You can't really have arsenal fans talk about anything remotely close to their club. They are too irrational. Every opinion they have is some sort of coping mechanism. Theyd tell you Messi was a league 1 player if he left them for Barca
Great analysis from Quentin !! 🔥💙💪
Great truths there lads; very informative, puts a realistic perspective on things. This manager is emotionally intelligent, and his attitude is rubbing off on the players, Villa is evolving. Composure in front of goal, adapting to different teams, learning, like Emery from each game, it's gonna get super interesting as they realize their potential
For Villa there is no single player of the season. Watkins, Bailey, Dougie, Konsa, McGinn, Paul and Emi have all had stand out seasons.
Paul?
@@nathanmoore7120 damn spell check….. I meant to say Pau
@@MrMonkeyHat oh yeah! Haha! I should have realised what you meant! Spell check gets the better of everyone at times.
Great content ❤
And spot on about having a team of players that havnt reached full potential but are humble and ready to listen . Tactics, hes the master of adaptation.
Quentin Gesp legend !
Harry hosting an Episode on Unai Emery is an interesting choice 😂
Can't think of a better way to follow a team as a kid by liking the colours , no glory hunting or easy mode incentives
The criticism of not holding on to leads isn’t fair. We’re second best in the league for converting leads into points, only the Utd game at xmas and Brentford where we’ve failed. It’s a historic problem for villa though, which might be why fans are hyper sensitive to it
Hate when fellow Villa fans highlight negative statistics on platforms that will be watched by many. Villa have beaten United numerous times over the years regardless of the poor home record against them that you've hand picked for everyone to ponder here, there's context to everything. Then he seemingly implies nobody in the team can pass a ball like Pau Torres🤦🏻♂️ Douglas Luiz? McGinn? Tielemans?
weve got super unai emery
Very good video,😊
Top player list should also add the Rolls Royce that is Kamara!!
You forgot this manager is backed by very wealthy owners who share a long term plan for success on and off the pitch. All shared by players and supporters.
1.Of course Emery can't manage superstars if they act or think they are neymar or mbappe
2. Tactics 4-5-1 I believe. Can easy to change and adapt
3. Ever watch full capacity bernabue stadium, nou camp stadium or psg stadium. 90-120k home fans. Just ask emery how that's is feel
4 most Villa players has improved a lot. Right now they slowly turning into a technical counter attack team.
5. La liga Messi c.ronalda era and neymar mbappe psg. Not many coach have that experience to shake those players hands
Maybe Emery wasn't the right fit for Arsenal. Arsenal are still stuck in the Wenger phase just like UTD are stuck in the Fergie stage.
United are stuck in a mid-table stage.
Arsenal.would love Emery and Martinez back now
Unai shouldn't be judged for his so called failures at PSG and Arsenal only for his success
7 trophies at PSG
Emery wasn't the right fit for Arsenal, or was it Arsenal wasn't the right fit for Emery. Unai obviously does well in a club that appreciates his special way of doing things and leaves him to do the numbers and perform miracles rather than the clubs who want him just be a number. Unai is Aston Villa, just like Dougie, Emi and Guinny, regardless to who comes in for them I don't see them leaving.
Emery cycle, what a clown
What a load of nonsense 2 year cycle 😂.
