About Pauly Shore:
Pauly Shore tasted super-stardom in 1990 when his MTV show “Totally Pauly” hit the airwaves to major fan approval. The show ran for six years, leading Pauly to a one-hour HBO comedy special, “Pauly Does Dallas” and starring roles in films like “Jury Duty,” “In the Army Now,” “Bio-Dome,” “Encino Man,” “Son In Law,” and “A Goofy Movie.”
Pauly went on to produce and star in several of his own projects, including “Pauly Shore is Dead” (amzn.to/2JOF1iv), as well as the comedy specials “Vegas is My Oyster,” starring Andy Dick, Tom Green, Bobby Lee, and “Pauly-Tics” (amzn.to/2sOIwvR), starring Herman Cain and Larry King.
In 2014, he released “Pauly Shore Stands Alone” (amzn.to/2t4z8Ub), a true-life road documentary that follows Pauly as he performs in obscure towns throughout Wisconsin while dealing with his personal life. It appeared on Showtime and is available on Amazon Prime. Other recent projects include Adam Sandler's "Sandy Wexler," the short film "Sin City Psycho," and the movie "Guest House" (on Netflix).
Pauly released a series of video interviews in 2017 called the “Pauly Shore Podcast Show.” His guests included Judd Apatow, Iliza Shlesinger, Ziggy Marley, Brett Ratner, Daymond John, Harland Williams, Fred Durst, David Faustino, Doug Herzog, Dexter Holland, Bob Saget and more (bit.ly/podshowPaulyShore).
Currently, Pauly has a video podcast called “Pauly Shore’s Random Rants” which you can find on Soundcloud, iTunes, Stitcher and CZcams (bit.ly/rantsPaulyShore).
Apart from actively touring the country with his stand-up comedy (bit.ly/PaulyTour), Pauly is working on a documentary of his life that spans the 1960s, ’70s, ’80s and ’90s. - Komedie
Son-in-Law was iconic for me as a teenager. Every now and then I still think of it and say I’m going to give it a rewatch. It reminds me of a really great time in my life.
Sounds like you had a crap life
Awesome movie and it is here on you tube free
Why haven't you rewatched it yet?
Same! It helps you remember that feeling of being a kid.
@@notsure1969 Oh I will! Most recently rewatched Bio-Dome with my nephew for movie night. He loved it. I think he will enjoy the humor of Son in Law.
Son in law is a classic!
Pauly is still the same person too man. He's always super chill and super cool and just makes people happy!
Seems like one of the few comedians who stuck to his guns & NEVER bought into the "modern-day landscape" way of thinking. I wish MORE comics were like him.
I can relate... sometimes I feel like I'm the same young dude from the 90s who doesn't quite fit in to the 2020s lol
lol dork
This is still one of my favorite movies. Thank you for bringing us this gem Pauly
For me as well since it holds sentimental value.
You rule Pauly. After all these years, every time I see a slurpy machine I think “no weezing the juice!” Thanks for all the laughs
Omg me too!
No butts chill!!!
Same.
I’m from Visalia and we are still so proud that the barn/farm scene was filmed here. It’s still talked about to this day and just amazing. Thank you Pauly for all the movies you’ve done. Every single film is a piece of pop culture and cult classics. You’re greatly appreciated here in the Central Valley
Thanks for still being around Pauly, good to still hear from you!
Its Thanksgiving Eve and I'm on mashed potatoes and pie duty. Son In Law was playing in the background earlier this afternoon to keep me in good humor. Thank you for helping, Pauly.
The night before thanksgiving?
@TonyMarselle yep.
You know I saw Don and law in the theaters. It's genius. Loved it. But little did I know that the movie would haunt me later in life. I literally lived your movie. I am a city boy that fell in love with a farm girl. Went out and worked on her family farm. I was just as clueless as your character in the movie. To this day people make that connection that I'm a real life version of the film. Best part is we got to sit down with our kids and show them the movie. Thanks for the memories
I love pauly shore movies. Best memories from my childhood were centeted around his films. Back when the world was perfect Pauly was ontop
And Kevin Smith was still funny at the time... Bio Dome, In the Army Now, Jury Duty, Son in Law or Pauly Shore is Dead best of the 5 (Califonia Man he was the Hobbit & George of the Jungles Co-Star)
We should be getting new Pauly films like Rodney Dangerfield used to do...more movies.
@@user-qd9mm5mt4i I'll Take Caddy Shake III as long as they get Ernie Hudson or Ant-Man as the grounds keeper
@@jaritime1406encino man or cali man depending on your territory was my favorite, in the army now was a big favorite as well but my whole family loved son in law including my grandparents.. Bio dome wasnt as good but i still loved it and still watch it. Jury dity was a film i missed when it released but found it years later.
Oh yea. He had one of the best early runs for movies in the 90s. I grew up on son in law, encino man, jury duty and in the army now. Love all of them. Never really cared for bio dome for some reason. Just never clicked with me.
I lost count how many times I watched this in my teenage years in 90's! Son in Law and Encino Man are 2 of my favourite movies of all time! Brendan Fraser making an appearance was a highlight. I remember wanting her butterfly tattoo on my ankle as well 😂
This is truly my favorite film ever. I always watch on Thanksgiving. I am very thankful for Pauly, as he showed me it is okay to show your true self and that is ultimately what people will appreciate about you. Great lesson to learn as a kid. That's really what this movie is about. That's what Pauly has always been about. Much appreciated.
i thought it was about being gay
@@uriah9559cavemen in a ice cave are gay.
Pauly’s life story arc has mirrored it in some ways. My buddy got shitfaced with him a couple years ago in a chilis airport bar. We’ve all got 9 lives. Keep on keepin on buuuuddy. I love granddaddy weasel.
You need mental help. Favorite all time movie? You watch it every year for Thanksgiving? I think you just made all of that up.
@@user-yp5bl5xm9j did Pauley blow him?
I know this movie wasn't filmed in South Dakota, but every year since my 30th B/Day in 2009, I've visited South Dakota and drove all over the state going to different places each year, other than Sturgis & MT Rushmore that I always visit. Anyway, I always have a blast! This tradition started because I always loved Son In Law! So, thank you for that! 👍
One of my faves!!! “It’s better than a kick in the face with a golf shoe” ❤❤
I still use that line. Lol
“ you pick it, I stick it” I use that line all the time as a welder🤣
The most laughter I’ve heard from an audience in the theater was when I went to see Son in Law.
You're invited to Thanksgiving dinner Pauly. You must bring a pumpkin pie. Dinner is at 630p.
Buuuddddyyyy
That is late af
Pauly, I'm 43 years old and your still my favorite actor from back in the day. I loved everything you did and still watch your stuff to this day. Thanks for talking about this and thank you for being a part of my life. I'm gonna go watch this now.
That and Encino Man are my favorites. I was always an oddball in my town, being that my parents were from New Orleans, and moved to a rural suburban area across the lake, so the contrast of freak with "down home cookin people" was relatable.
My 2 fave also
Buuuuudd-yyyyyy
Have an excellent thanksgiving weasel, Pauly!
"You pick it. I stick it."
"I want something kind of feminine."
"He's standing right next to you."
My parents (who were my world) and all my closest friends have passed away (im only 34), and I work at a nursing home full time (go in at 3pm today thanksgiving day and work until 7am tomorrow morning) so I have no one or no time to have a real thanksgiving with, but I am laying in bed right now watching Son In Law having my own version of Thanksgiving. I thank you for this movie Pauly and all the laughs and good memories youve given me over the years. I truly appreciate you.
Still one of the best movies I love son in law ❤
"Ya I have a job... I'm a farmer!" He was everything but! Lol
I laugh so hard every time he mocks Midwesterners and spits in this interview 😂
Pauly is still making us smile.
Look, it’s simple-we want more Pauly. Pauly is F’kin hilarious-filled with good vibes. It’s time to get Pauly back on the big screen. What the F’k are these film exec’s waiting for?
Have a great Holiday to all!! 🙏🏼🍗🦃
“I popped your daughter’s trunk…”🤣
i watch this movie every year for 25 years "SON IN LAW" its truly one of my fave movies and tradition. i love it brings me back to a good place in my childhood and up until now i thought i was the only one who thought so, so happy to see others know of this classic and enjoy it as much as me... great job and thanks for making this.
This was always my favorite thanksgiving movie. Love you Pauly.
One of my favorite movies 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
I have "Son In Law" on DVD. It's my son's favorite Thanksgiving movie. We just watched it last night to help kick start our holiday mood. We laughed as hard watching it for the 10,000,000,000,000 time as we did when we watched Son in Law for the first time. It's a really great movie with never ending laughs.
Thank you so much for a making a really great family holiday movie to be enjoyed by everyone of all ages.
Happy Thanksgiving Pauly Shore, and to everyone who reads this message.
We had son in law on vhs when we were little and me and my sister watched it hundreds of times, to this day we can recite the entire movie word for word. Pauly shore and son in law will always be one of my greatest childhood memories. ❤ Pauly forever thanks for the memories
Wow its been 30 years! Where does the time go? 😢 still my favorite Pauly Shore flick, I have an autographed Son In Law picture framed and hanging on my wall. Love you Pauly ❤
This was super fun! Would be awesome if you did more videos like this for all your other movies :D
It's very cool that you did this interview. I hope you are happy it's endured for so long.
Love you pauly happy Thanksgiving
Love you dude Happy Thanksgiving 🦃
Love Paully. He’s such a big part of my childhood and I’m sure many others. We love you man!
I love you Pauly Shore!! Thank you for all you have done. Son in law Encino man were on replay all day and really made my day and night. You are awesome!! ❤️🙏
Watched it today with my family, I watch it every Thanksgiving. ❤ I love you Pauly, you're my hero ❤❤❤
Son In Law was a great movie Pauly!
Son in Law, In the Army Now, and Biodome are absolutely gems. I have seen them so many times and still laugh. They were great in the theaters and still great. Thank you for all the hours of fun.
just pulled out my dvd... my favourite movie growing up.. THANKS PAULY!
First Thanksgiving in years without getting to watch Son-In-Law and the holiday doesn’t feel complete. Got to watch your Portland set two nights ago and laughed my ass off. Long live the Weasel!
I love this movie! Crawl was awesome!!! “Munchin on some grindage!!”
Such a great movie !!! I still rewatch it a few times a year!!!! God I miss the 90s

Absolutely Love Son in law.
Was an early 90s thanksgiving classic.
Youre the man Pauly!
Pauly your wholesome you never changed and that’s cool ! Hope you get lots of love this thanksgiving!
I love this movie! We watch it all year long. My best friend and I quote it all the time. Anytime someone mentions a proposal where they get down on one knee, I only hear you saying "ewe"!! And I can't hear John Denver without thinking of you!!❤
I watch Son In Law every Thanksgiving! 🦃
Growing up, movies like Son In Law and Encino Man became a part of my life forever. I would always watch and rewatch them. They will always have a special place in my heart, thank you for the memories Pauly.
I watch that move every so often. I really love that flik!
you're the king. i grew up watching you on mtv!
Tears of joy to my eyes watching this❤️❤️❤️❤️
Happy Thanksgiving Pauly! This is my favorite movie of yours. I'm thankful for you dude
Happy Thanksgiving Giving Bro, Thanks for all the entertainment over the years... ✌️
We need a sequel now sir.
My brother came up to you uninvited and you treaded him like an old friend and sat him down at your table to hangout. ❤
i loved the video and how you loved working on the film that was really cool great video happy thanksgivings
Love you Pauly, grew up with you and am still with ya;] Thank you for all the fine memories and saving me one night when i was losing face...put on " In the Army Now" and your voice and hearing my friends laugh kept me sane;]
I love this movie sooooo much!!! It's one of my comfort movies, I watched it 4 times in a row once haha🥰🥰🥰
Pauly is comedy gold!!! Proud to be a fan!!!
great memories thank you pauly for still being the same amazing guy!!
Much love Pauly!!! Son in law is a great one!!! Happy holidays bro!!!!!!!
I love that movie!! I've watched it at least 10 times!❤❤❤..No one else could have done the role as good!
Pauly....😂 We watch Son In Law EVERY November & again on Thanksgiving! It's the BEST holiday movie 💯 Dood... When you're stomping your foot on the porch and hitting your knee I swear every year it has somebody running to the bathroom having to pee😂😂😂 "hey Bartle can i whittle wood with you buddy!!!📣" 😂🤣😭🦃🥧
Sarasota Bradenton loves ya BUDDY!!💯 -cone back to McCurdy's comedy club 🤞
Son-In-Law kicks off the holiday season at my house every year. Anytime there is an opportunity for me to quote this movie, I will, I have to, it's an unwritten obligation. All of your movies bring back a feeling of nostalgia for me, kinda like a reset when life gets super stressful. My father, who just turned 70 last week, doesn't watch anything outside of old westerns, the military channel, and re-runs of Mash. But, he will watch this movie every single time it is on TV. And he will laugh his ass off like it's the first time he's seen it. Wishing you all the best, thank you for all the memories...and movie quotes.
This is one of my absolute, favorite movies! Love you Pauly🥰
Biodome was my favorite movie of Pauly’s. Love you !
One of my favourite childhood movies. From Australia 🇦🇺
Love son in law
Love you, Pauly! Happy Thanksgiving!
Wow! This video/clip just popped up and there is Pauly Shore! I was wondering what happened to you. Great to see back! Blessing bro!
Pauly shore is a cult classic. His films are a time machine. And tgis youtube shiz he was a video jockey before it was something everyone and their pets did. Hes an innovator from dialect to artistic style the weasel lives forever weaz the juice
Still one of my favorite movies! You taught me the definition of charisma. Would you ever consider a 2nd one?
I still laugh when he shows up at the dinner scene wearing that outfit 😂😂😂
Hell yeah a all time classic
The Son In-law is my favorite Pauly Shore movie.
P.s.
I was at your show on Long Island NY. Your story about how your mom was going to abort you, but her sister talked her out of it hit me hard.
I was supposed to be an abortion, too. My 19 year old mother made the mistake of mentioning her plans to her aunt (grandma's sister) and she begged on her hands and knees for my life. She is the only reason I am here.
But still impossible to get on Blu-ray at all. 😊Try to push for this Pauly PLEASE
I smoked a joint with Pauly outside of his late fathers club in Laughlin NV when i was 23...im now 37 and i tell this story alot lol he was drunk as hell and super cool...When his show actually started he came off the stage and gave me a hug and then did his thing...Ill never forget that night...Thanks for being so cool pauly.
Definitely my favorite of your starring roles. It's too bad so many people have either forgotten or have never heard of this one. You should reach out to some of the more prominent CZcams movie reactors and ask them to put it on their lists. I've tried suggesting it to them, but they won't listen to me. Thanks for making such a fun movie!
Thank you for this movie Pauly. I grew up in a city now I'm on a farm with a bunch of different farm animals. And every morning while feeding the farm I think of this movie and how I can relate on my first day on the farm.
Just watched it today
Love u Pauly! Happy Thanksgiving bud!
Youre phenomenal growing up watching your films were the BEST...still have a giggle when i rewatch your iconic films youre a freeking LEGEND 💯💯💯💯❤
I LOVE the film CANT BUY ME LOVE as well. Fun fact Patrick dempsey is peoples sexiest man alive 2023.
Happy Thanksgiving P.S.
I would watch this vhs over and over and over and over and over
Love this movie! Great balance with you in this movie! Thank you!
Buff the wood!
LMAO!!
Buh buh buh buh buh buff the wood!!!
I would love to meet you pauly.
This and Encino man I had on repeat for years as teen.
Son in law was awesome. My favorite Pauly shore movie was Encino man I remember being around 9 or 10 when I first watched it and it was a cherished movie growing up. Thanks for the great memories 😊
You should ask Critical Drinker to to a Crieac of all your movies and let you post them here.. & get EFAP to let you join them and go through the who thing with them
First!!! Woo hoo!!
Growing up with you on MTV and subsequent movies, I have to say; Son In Law was my favorite Pauly Shore movie by far! Love you Pauly!
I literally watch son in law, jury duty, bio dome and encino man literally ALL THE TIME! love ya BUHHH-DEEE!!!
