    Love this woman she is always sweet, and her work is awesome, I want to buy this accuquilt go baby just to get her stuff....not really interested in other dies at this point in time. I really don't need to buy it for making quilt pieces because I bought a mat that cuts, layer cakes, charm packs, Jelly rolls, diamonds etc in seconds and thanks to Jenny Doan of Missouri star company I know techniques for making half square triangle fast and simple. So to me I would only need it for applique and Adita's is the best.....hope she make some more....the only thing is the price of the dies are astronomical....

    I love Accuquilt. But they really should specify that THIS butterfly die is NOT included in Edyta Sitar's specialty cube! I was rather upset when I got my cube, that the butterfly die included with the cube is much smaller. Also her "simple shapes" die is NOT included. I really wished that they had specified that on the website. I have since purchased the simple shapes due and am very happy to report that they are exactly the same size as her patterns.

    I have a question about the heart shape she holds in her hand at about 5:40 into the video - she's explaining about applique stitches but doesn't say where that heart shape comes from - is it on a die Accuquilt sells? It's a perfect size for a project I want to do. I've asked this question before but it doesn't seem to have made it on here for some reason.

      +Kitty Hurley They are referring to "dies", not "dyes". The "die" is the piece that cuts the shapes out when you roll it through the Go Cutter.

    how do I get the fabric with the paper in the back? it is glue?

    • @siobhan4751
      @siobhan4751 Před 6 lety

      You need to buy a fusible web product to make the iron-on pieces. Popular for quilt applique is "steam a seam 2" which has fusible "glue-web-stuff" on both side of the product so you can attach one side to your fabric before cutting shapes and then when you're ready you iron it onto a background fabric. Easy to do if you follow the directions exactly so the fusible behaves. Also very important to protect your iron from getting gluey! Good luck.

      @accuquilt  Před 2 lety

      The Butterfly Die is designed for 10" pre-cut squares, to cut your butterfly shapes and as a background square for your finished butterfly block. You could make larger blocks with your 8" Qube for the butterfly to sit on though if you wanted.
