INGREDIENTS
* 1 tablespoon bentonite clay
* 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
* 1 teaspoon water
* 3 drops lavender essential oil
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Place the clay, apple cider vinegar, and water into a glass bowl.
2. Stir using a wooden spoon. Never use iron or metal tools when working with clay.
3. Add 3 drops of essential oil and stir to combine.
4. Store in a glass container with a plastic airtight lid.

Is the effect that stainless steel have on bentonite clay pernanent, ie after removing the clay from the metal bowl, would the clay revert to its previous state?
The clay has a cationic exchange. It reacts with positively charged metals
I used this and loved the feel but when I washed it off my face was beet red where the mask was. It faded, of course and I used my Argan oil/anti-aging EOs that makes my skin supple. Do you know why reaction? I used Indian Healing clay and ACV, (member’s mark) and Plant therapy EO.
Maybe you left it on too long? However, some redness is normal after a clay mask.
"Keep in mind some redness after a clay mask application is normal. That's because clay brings blood to the surface of your skin while it's absorbing impurities from your skin."

I only make enough for one or two uses and then remake for the next time.
Can you suggest a sub for lavender? Lavender, sage, patchouli all cause me to cough.

I used a different brand I found at Walmart since they ran out of the Aztec clay brand. My problem with it is that it keeps coming out really chunky.

If you have sensitive skin do not use acv! It's harsh.
Can you use clay harvested from the wild?
Nope that one hasn't been filtered

Yes, definitely!
But it will dry out the face more because lemon takes off more oils
