- In 'Cadeaux at the Chateau', all of the inhabitants of the Chateau de Lalande gather together to open beautiful gifts that people have sent from all over the world. All of the monetisation from these videos will be donated to a different charity each month. CZcams earnings fluctuate wildly each month, as ad revenue changes throughout the year. Here are the charities that we've donated to so far:

I used to show the gifts as part of ' @The Chateau Diaries ' episodes, but you're all so very generous that we have many gifts, and if we spent the episodes opening them, we wouldn't be able to show you other aspects of chateau life! So, for those of you who enjoy watching presents being opened, and as a way to thank those of you who were kind enough to send them, I've made this new channel. Every week we will film your beautiful gifts whilst enjoying afternoon tea or aperitif together.
It is very important to me that you know that we in no way expect anyone to send us gifts. I would like to go further than that and add that, if doing so will put you in any financial difficulty whatsoever, please, please do not send us anything. Knowing that you join us by watching 'The Chateau Diaries' gives us all an enormous boost. But for those of you who have sent these incredibly thoughtful gifts, I hope that seeing us open them gives you a fraction of the joy that you've given us 💖💖💖

Watching this was such fun, as they always are, but this time there was more time to get to know Davey, and realise what a stable, kind, generous, and clever individual he is, adding so much to the individuals that make up the group.
Many of your gifts are enabling people to send their family keepsakes on to people that will use and love them. Other items allow people to share their “ love” language”.And many allow you to showcase the talent of global groups. I love that you lovingly and warmly allow a place for their expression.❤️

The table clothes are gorgeous and the old cottage chintz is so pretty.
The joy you all evoke over all the beautiful gifts are always equally by myself. So many wonderful gifts by thoughtful and generous people that all love everyone at LaLande.
The large tablecloths make lovely top sheets for your bed and also curtains. Linen drapes so well at windows and for the bed they are cool in summer and warm in winter. The ones you received are gorgeous.
That peacock pinwheel would be an amazing tree topper for the peacocktail corner christmas tree!!!

Such beautiful gifts per usual. Love all the laughter and generosity of the viewers. I especially love the National Parks book given by Joy. My husband and I received it for Christmas and now that I am retired, we plan to visit as many parks as possible. If you ever get the chance, watch Ken Burns documentary of the National Parks, America’s greatest gift. He visits all the parks during each season. There’s eight films in the documentary so if you ever have down time, do give it a view. It’s so well done. Thanks for sharing all the love and laughter 😍😘

As always, the gifts are stunningly wonderful. I must say that I really loved the earrings that were gifted by Michael. They look so gorgeous on Stephanie. Not just anyone can wear earrings like that. It’s shades of Audrey Hepburn and they smack of glamour!

Being an Oregonian I was happy to here the shout out to Crater Lake which I have been to. It is the most pristine lake.
I had some of those table clothes given to me by an old friend before she died.. Some were stained but I cut them apart and remade them into a quilt for my bed. By this retained her memory.
Just loved everything.the table clothes and runners are all so beautiful.I really enjoyed watching y'all.Nice seeing Davey also.

Stephanie I just bought the Aloysius book for my grandchildren,they are 8 & 5 yrs but after reading it and seeing the picture of all of you I’m not sure I will give it to them now. I have a picture of my Dad standing in front of Crater Lake in the early 60's, and one of my sister which I swear has to be near the same place from just a few years ago, Crater Lake is Stunning!
Crater Lake is a volcano made crater. There is no swimming or boating allowed in the lake. Average depth 1,148 feet deep. It is very beautiful and the water is the most beautiful aqua blue I have seen. Come see some of our National parks in the USA. Love the Chateau, you, Phillip, Mummy, Pursay, Gerald, Natalie, and all others.

Hi Lalanders- it is pronounced Mal- ing. I grew up with my mother’s collection of Mal-ing, in fact most of my friends and family in the North East of England seemed to have some of this colourful pottery. I have recently inherited my mum’s collection and it now lives on my dresser in London.

I am trying to resist my inner pedant, but I just can't. The table cloths are not embroidered per se, there is white work, drawn thread and fagotting, and a combination of all three on them. I now want to come over there with lemon juice, blue and starch, together with a good steam iron to sort out the hand laundering that they all will need! My mother used to be the local priest's housekeeper when I was growing up, so laundering white cloths is second nature to me.
PS Remember to iron from the back to ensure the embroidery stands proud!

I really hope Stephanie and Natty read this wonderful comment! It is an important one. All of the table linens were so beautiful. I was also thinking that the huge ones would be so beautiful as curtains in one of the bedrooms. And also on the bed as a cover because they were so beautiful! I love white in a bedroom. Love all at LaLand, and the first time I saw one of the shows I thought “such joy and love Stephanie shares.” And it continues in every video. It is getting so pretty there! Chintzware is rather collectable and once commended high prices. Its a lovely tea set.
Stunning is the only word for all that beautiful linen and china wares. I also particularly loved the Peacock wind spinner for the garden, which may not keep the Peacocks from eating the delicious fruits but it should stop the birds from frequenting the area nearest to the spinner. Davy should be pretty proud of seeing his garden designs coming into fruition with the beautiful summer weather you are having (and a little pat on the back to Dan and Amaury, of the Chateau water brigade!)😅🚒🌿💐🌹🦚

What a spectacular cadeau this was! The lacy tablecloths will look especially good as toppers over colored under-layers. A strong pink or fuchsia under the butterfly lace cloth would be perfect for the new Chintz dishes. PS - if the black earrings are real black coral, they are special. Black coral in the Caribbean is disappearing due to high demand.

Square plates from that era are for afternoon cake....This is a tea or afternoon coffee set. Its beautiful. My grandmother had one similar. Linens are beautiful...make wonderful sheets also....
