- In 'Cadeaux at the Chateau', all of the inhabitants of the Chateau de Lalande gather together to open beautiful gifts that people have sent from all over the world. All of the monetisation from these videos will be donated to a different charity each month. CZcams earnings fluctuate wildly each month, as ad revenue changes throughout the year. Here are the charities that we've donated to so far:

I used to show the gifts as part of ' @The Chateau Diaries ' episodes, but you're all so very generous that we have many gifts, and if we spent the episodes opening them, we wouldn't be able to show you other aspects of chateau life! So, for those of you who enjoy watching presents being opened, and as a way to thank those of you who were kind enough to send them, I've made this new channel. Every week we will film your beautiful gifts whilst enjoying afternoon tea or aperitif together.
It is very important to me that you know that we in no way expect anyone to send us gifts. I would like to go further than that and add that, if doing so will put you in any financial difficulty whatsoever, please, please do not send us anything. Knowing that you join us by watching 'The Chateau Diaries' gives us all an enormous boost. But for those of you who have sent these incredibly thoughtful gifts, I hope that seeing us open them gives you a fraction of the joy that you've given us 💖💖💖

I don't know Carole (although it's a great name lol) but I think she and I would be best of friends based on her humour. I loved the note Philip got and laughed so hard at Bernard the Badger making an appearance. The fabrics are stunning and will fit into the Chateau in just about any room or for any purpose. Yet again I am in awe of the generosity and thoughtfulness of those who send you gifts. I guess your amazingness spreads out into the world and finds its way back to you.
My all time favorite fabric designer sent her fabric to the chateau! I bought into a Tilda club just so I could get this line. When I saw it it made me think of Stephanie. I hope that they discover all the plushy animals that Is part of the Tilda line. Something right up Philips alley! How I’d love to help out with the dress making and quilted projects that will come from this gift from Tone Finnanger. What a rabbit hole your are about to discover Stephanie!

The fabrics from Norway were absolutely stunning. I cannot wait to see the tablecloths, cushions and maybe a dress designed by Phillip. Your "oh I love it" at the opening of each gift is delightful. Your laughter & joy is uplifting for the soul.
When I was substitute teaching I was advised to always meet the students at the door holding a clipboard. It’s a signal that you’re in charge. If students we’re getting off task I would just walk around the room and scribble on the clipboard. They never knew what to think. Ha. Ha.

What an amazing compliment to have an entire fabric range inspired by Stephanie and Lalande. Maybe when you come to decorate on the top floor you could have a room decorated using fabric from the range and possibly conceive a design for a quilt made by any friends, family, volunteers or even patrons that can sew. Maria might be the person with a craft bent to oversee it!?!🎇😎

It sounds like the board game Cleudo, which is such fun! Those beautiful materials are fabulous. So many possibilities. They might make beautiful curtains in a room. Great also to see wonderful Davy the garden expert back. We all deserve an update on what he has been up to!
I can’t believe I missed this vlog with my favourite Tilda quilting fabric collection and I had no idea until today it was fashioned after LeLand. I just finished watching this weeks cadeaux. I love the fabric, as I am a crafter/quilter. I would gladly teach you and Natie how to make a quilt. It's really not as complicated as you would think. I am hoping that my daughter and I will be able to come visit the Chateau next year. Thanks for all the hard work you guys do, and for giving us an escape from the world!

I have been eying up, this Tilda fabric for a while. Its wonderful. During the pandemic I made a quilt with other fabrics of hers. But this is my most favorite collection of hers. Don’t forget those fabrics are only 110 cm wide so they would be to small for a table cloth!
Perhaps the tablecloths could be bordered with some of the other colour ways in the same pattern or the ‘blender’ fabrics.

I love the Tilda fabric beautiful colours and designs. A room dedicated to her collection would look amazing from lampshade cushion curtain bedding. Wow or just are range of fabulous aprons. What amazing gift I think the earrings for natti was a lovely gift.

I love Tilda fabrics! When I look at all her patterns for things to make with the fabric, I wish I was retired. My favorite patterns are for the characters and critters. I believe I spotted one of the characters (doll) under your Christmas tree. I only got a glimpse of it but I'm going to go back and see if I can find it. Thank you for sharing.

Awe, Gerald, you are the spice amongst the chateau. I love your humor but I do have lineage from the Scotland area, even lived the when I was younger 10 miles from my ancestral castle. We didn’t know this at the time as I just discovered this the last couple years while researching my genealogy. Hugs and love from Texas!
