- In 'Cadeaux at the Chateau', all of the inhabitants of the Chateau de Lalande gather together to open beautiful gifts that people have sent from all over the world. All of the monetisation from these videos will be donated to a different charity each month. CZcams earnings fluctuate wildly each month, as ad revenue changes throughout the year. Here are the charities that we've donated to so far:

I used to show the gifts as part of ' @The Chateau Diaries ' episodes, but you're all so very generous that we have many gifts, and if we spent the episodes opening them, we wouldn't be able to show you other aspects of chateau life! So, for those of you who enjoy watching presents being opened, and as a way to thank those of you who were kind enough to send them, I've made this new channel. Every week we will film your beautiful gifts whilst enjoying afternoon tea or aperitif together.
It is very important to me that you know that we in no way expect anyone to send us gifts. I would like to go further than that and add that, if doing so will put you in any financial difficulty whatsoever, please, please do not send us anything. Knowing that you join us by watching 'The Chateau Diaries' gives us all an enormous boost. But for those of you who have sent these incredibly thoughtful gifts, I hope that seeing us open them gives you a fraction of the joy that you've given us 💖💖💖

My son passed away 3 months ago in a motorcycle accident…… I was 20 when I had him and I am 58 so he was a part of my life for longer than I was without him… we sort of grew up together….. needless to say I wanted to die with him……. I found your channel 2 months ago and I have found your love of life absolutely contagious and I started watching your channel from the very beginning so I can get my le lande fix everyday ….. it has given me something to look forward to ans a way to brighten my day in my otherwise depressing and challenging time in my life ….. thank you so much for your wonderful smile and enthusiasm it means more than I can say

I am old enough to remember 1975, a dreadful admission! You would not believe the impact that the original video machines had upon us all, especially as the prices dropped so speedily. It was a huge blessing for a classic film fan like me. Suddenly a multitude of films which had previously only been names in books became available to watch. Previously those films were on television from time to time, but often in mutilated versions. Thank you for the video!

I love the painting of philip and stephanie...in 100 years time if they are still hung in the chateau..people will believe them to be from the 18th century! ...she has definitely captured that feeling of years gone by! I'm sure Philip is a reincarnation of a wealthy European from the 18th century! Maybe he was a captain of a Galleon like the Mary rose ...! Or maybe his family was a producer of beautiful porcelain...😊...what ever im sure he was a well respected person in his field ..he really does have a unique presence...😊❤

can i suggest lifeline as a charity donation and a suicide prevention one...i lost my husband through suicide after he got a debilitating stroke..he was 58...that was 4 years ago now...support was given through a lifeline subsidiary..it helped a lot..just a thought..on a lighter note loved your gorgeous presents!..people are so kind,,hugggsssxxx

As usual some stunning gifts - I think you have enough chocolate to last till Christmas - the lemon curd tea sounds one to try my late Nan always used to have lemon curd but I never got a taste for it - think we will all need some Beryl style jumpers with the rising heating costs here this winter for sure !

Steph you can use olive oil to moisturize your hands when cooking. That is what I do so the scents from my lotion don't get on the food.

Happy birthday Stephanie. My birthday was on the 27th. And as a matter of regular life and a bit of Comedy every day I was willing to the ladies room on my chair and on my way back to the bed I got my oxygen caught on the chair wrapped around the bottom. I think it might be my husband's number one annoyance it's unwrapping me. LOL a bit of laughter everyday. I did not want to wake him so I was trying to figure out how to get unwrapped and he came so tired I fell asleep in the chair only two completely faceplant out of it onto the floor which is all tile looks like wood but it's all hard time my arms my leg my abdomen you name it I heard it. I had to wake up my husband he stood up and said where are you I said well you could look down I'm down here. Yep it looks funny. So at 5:30 in the morning I called the fire department to help me get back up onto my leg and my spine. I won't let Tom help me as we are getting older. But life is a comedy of errors at my house and just think we're coming to visit you on our 40th anniversary I promise to try to cut down the comedy before I get there. My first order of business after my wound heals is to actually walk again by myself. So happy birthday to you I finally celebrated yesterday with a beautiful dinner cooked by my husband and we watched a movie together. Which was a lot of fun very sweet of him. Of course he spoiled me with gifts for 2 weeks beforehand. He tells me how much I can spend and I go and spend that and a little more LOL. As always thank you for the joy and the laughter and the love. I tried to say it yesterday but I couldn't get it out of my mouth but happy anniversary to naturally and Amory. You're a beautiful couple so sweet and kind. I imagine you have been a fire going on there too. You are Latin right LOL. I will see you in the funny papers hopefully within 2 years.
