I haven't heard anyone bring up the handprints you get with each baby. They are adorable.

Yea whenever you have a baby at the hospital, so you need get to work. There are different swatches, I've seen 2 so far.
I had no idea, I just checked my sims inventory and the hand print was in there. It's really cute, I'm happy they added that.
@M.C CheddarBox I'm gonna cry because my twins never got handprint. I can only guess it's glitched or it for singletons

There is a moment towards the end where she is holding the infant and holding the bowl of frank and beans and it would have been the cutest thing if that infant shoved it’s hand into the food like how they splash in their food in the high chair. If only.
…because that’s exactly what my son did when he was young. Always in my food with questionable infant/toddler fingers.

I must admit, i am a bit dissapointed with the lack of things to do in the new World. There is hardly any fishing spots either, or collectable spots or even plants growing. Seems like they just decorated a World and threw in one or two things to do in each area.
We used to have lots of fishing spots, lots of places to dig, to find plants and even hidden worlds. For an explanation pack, this seems quite dull and empty. It is very pretty, but thats it🤷♀️
with the toddlers, now you can lock them in the highchair to stop your sims from trying to take them out all the time!

Wait a minute... So you can earn the cheerful trait because your sim has been very happy lately... But that could mean they could also become gloomy. Good gosh, you can get depression with this pack :')

You could always add gift giving to the baby shower event, but I don't know how glitchy that will be too. Lol. I've been noticing the standing around and not doing what I ask defiance sims as well 😂 sims are revolting 😳😱
How do you add gift giving to an event? I'm aware you can do things like that with holidays but I wasn't sure you could add things to events?
Mine just straight up cancel interactions in the middle of them being on the way to do it and it's so annoying.
My Sim got the baby shower gifts because I just let it roll and let the sims do the talking by themselves. Then they got approached by 3 guests and I got 3 different gifts
I’m guessing it might be that she was constantly clicking interactions during it, but more stuff actually does happen during the baby shower. I had one with about 14 sims in attendance, and guests (outside of the household) would autonomously give gifts to the expecting mother, as well as autonomously speak to her about the baby (I got a pop-up about discussing baby names at one point).
you can buy coolala wall lamp for kids room (the one with weird bears on it), it protects the room from monster under the bed
I've watched all your videos. They all make me laugh heartily. This one and the last one though you have done a very good job of highlighting the features, still some laughs, but I so appreciate all I learned from these!

My twin babies forgot all their milestones this morning. All gone. And halfway to toddlerhood, so who knows if I can even get them all know 🙄

I just moved my sims to the new world. I was a bit sad that there are no fishing spots. At least I haven't found one yet.
There's 2 both of the piers they're are hard to find. My sim found it himself. XD I didn't even notice the fish sign at all while looking

My sims are always getting burnout because I work them hard to make money. It's a little annoying because you basically can't (or shouldn't) have them doing anything that could be considered work for 24 hours or it'll get worse. That includes things like painting or writing, and of course they should take a day off work. I haven't pushed them to see what happens, because I don't want to cause permanent damage.. lol
Do you have Spa Day? I gave my workaholic Sim a mud bath and a nap, and his burnout timer ticked down really quickly

Just discovered your channel and I'm finding it engaging, entertaining, and informative. I started out with the original Sims back in the day and have played all its successors, and after a lengthy hiatus, am returning to Sims 4. I'm somewhat on the fence about purchasing the new pack right now though--while I'm a legacy player, it appears to be very bug-ridden at present. Maybe wait a few months until they've ironed out some of the bugs?
Don't take your baby for a swim in the ocean. My single dad got stuck treading water holding his daughter and never came out.

One of the first milestones my infant got was first blowout! Immediate nappy change afterwards 😅
I experienced the burnout and it happened because I had my sim go to work and work hard everyday, then it showed up.
Too bad you didn’t get the slumber party to work. Mine was one of the best event I ever done. Best part, one of the guest woke up early, went to the bathroom, and then back to sleep. So no guests wandering the house all night.
Maybe a mod is tripping your party over.
Pretty lame that the new town is so empty.
There is also a street piano in this sector too, but I also was a bit disappointed with this new part of this World. I haven’t explored the rest of it yet.
I got the pack and I was so excited my sim was expecting and I just wanted one but to my shock I got twins lol the one time I don't want twins I got them it's so hard
21:40 I don’t mind that milestones are stuck behind a pack so much as I mind that this probably means it will never be updated, again, while if it was base game it probably would.

Ive had an issue when i tried to get my kids to get a quick meal. They've got it but then they've gone to multiple places to sit down but not eat. When i click on the plate its just saying to clean up...
I think what annoys me about the sims 4 is that there are so many visuals but little to no interaction.

Iv had this ick for a while now pre update. My mean sims get positive mood buffs from misery, but their reltiaonships suffer, even with “comparable” sims. Similar things can be said for snobs, erratic….
We'll leave adding more milestones to the modders, We can count on EA to do it.

A LOT of mods broke with the latest update. If you play with any mods, you've got to make sure they're updated or play without them.
@@pieflower6419 yes i made the heart breaking decision that day to do my last option and that was to disable all mods until further notice and it worked, thank you so much for helping out though! ❣️

Also, your glitchy Sims not doing anything, not actually being controllable... That's pretty much the main reason why I never got into the game from the very beginning (as in, from the original 2000(?) game through to around 2007 or so with the updated games/versions)! 🤔
I'd give The Sims some commands (and no, I wouldn't overload them!) and they'd just do either bugger all and stand there, or they'd do their own bloody thing anyway! Usually just stupid stuff like the Sim would be dying to use the toilet and you'd direct them to a loo, yet they'd still just stand there and piss their fucking pants! And walk around stinking and still ignoring you... That's about as deep as my playing The Sims ever got!🤔 🤦🏻♂️ 🤷🏻♂️
