    Canadian here. Ever since "started from the bottom now I'm here", we're good. Dude grew up in one of the richest neighborhoods, in one of the most expensive cities in one of the most expensive countries in the world. And he was an actor in a well-known Canadian tv show when he was a teenager. Even his drama teacher dogged on him for that lyric lol

      I've said this ever since I first heard of Drake. I'm 41 so I never really saw what was so likeable about Drake. He just seemed like a whiny simp who always complained about not being able to find "love". Well yeah when you groom teenagers and you're in your late 30's then that's weird. Drake is the definition of a culture vulture cause he grew up rich and never had to struggle but now he's dressing like a gangster and making gun signs with your finger like you would actually ever get involved with some real shit? Once I heard that Chris Brown sent him a bottle of champagne at a club cause Drake was with Rhianna (another one with the herpes) and instead of saying thank you, Drake wanted to be tough and send it back with a note saying "I'm still f**king Rihanna". That's so disrespectful and all he does is bang his friends girls, Even lil Wayne. Then he gets a tattoo of him to suck up. I would never get another man tattooed on me unless it was my family or maybe Elvis...lolm

    No, she isn't reaching. Drake didn't make a "mistake" by disrespecting the enslaved Africans in the USA. He grew up as a white jewish man and doesn't have any sort of emotional connection to African American history which is why he thought it was funny to wear black face. Which is also how and why he got the push he got in the industry. The main people giving people like him a pass and allowing people like him to keep going are non generational African Americans. In my opinion.

    • @dmoneytrees
      @dmoneytrees Pƙed 16 dny +6

      I agree with you. Also, Drake was always the blackest person in the room most of his life, so he probably always wanted to fit in. He has a lyric in one of his songs :.. on take care album Marvin’s room where he says “my white friends said the n word I hope no one heard that, if they do we are gonna be in some trouble”
 so he basically admitted white people say the n word around him all the time and he allows it. That right there is worse than the slave comment because he has no connection to the n word. If you had a connection to the n word you would know why the boundary was set to ensure other races especially white doesn’t say it.

I lived in France and Germany as an African American and I had many in-depth conversations with Europeans about what happened here, far more than white Americans and immigrants to America. When I lived in Brazil, I wanted to know what happened there. I’m going to give the Congolese woman a pass because she lives in Canada, but if you come to the US , you need to step up your understanding of who fought for you to be here!

It's on video now to be seen around the world where you can comment and translate with a push of a button from your cellphone .....

    I think the main way people are knowing the history of blacks in America is from listening to our parents grandparents because what I learned in school.....a lot was left out. I only recently learned so much more probably because of social media and the Internet that as lead me to documentries and articles of experiences as well as historical history that you have to search for to actually learn for yourself.

    Hes exposed Drake and his handlers as evil, groomers, sex traffickers, puppeteers, career and reputation destroyers etc etc.

 I can honestly say I never got into Drake because his music too soft and emotional. I’ll choose KC & JoJo over Drake’s monotone azz if I need a good cry. In regards to race
 even though I’m mixed I see myself as a Black women. The black community doesn’t accept it because my skin has lightened as I’ve aged

    Yeah dawg she was spot on about him not carrying about Black Americans. He used his father as chess piece to get complete acceptance. He only got tight with his dad once his career started to reach the next level. In addition, he never used his platform to speak on one thing regarding black Americans. Lastly! Wayne got some explaining to do also. He was letting this slide only because he was benefiting off of the Drake “Character”

    I been not liking Drake for years. I mean since .. at least 2011. I just see that he’s disingenuous. When I first started listening to Kendrick a year later I was hooked. He’s got a lot of heart. I didn't think it was a reach. He was raised by his Jewish white mother. She showed him how to appreciate Jewish culture. His dad is black, but Drake didn't grow up with him. Therefore I believe what she said is right, he has no real appreciation for the black experience and culture.
