    How did you plug in the round throttle cable with the arrows ? I’ve been struggling smh

    • @AJCars.
      @AJCars.  Před 9 měsíci

      It’s a bit of an awkward one it has a certain shape inside so you can only offer it up 1 way, once you line it up you have to push it down whilst turning it clockwise, it basically winds on then will click down once it’s all the way in

    @YootubeUK Před 2 měsíci +1

    I'm about to remove mine, I've already replaced split hoses but I'm sure the butterfly valve is snagging in the crappy alloy casting. Especially as it broke a throttle cable before I bought the car. Went like stink when I test drove it so hopefully that wil cure it. Mine also lit the EML light when it was in limp mode. Was your throttle body a new or used replacement?

    • @AJCars.
      @AJCars.  Před 2 měsíci +1

      It was a used replacement but reconditioned, has been great ever since!

    • @YootubeUK
      @YootubeUK Před 2 měsíci +1

      @@AJCars. I think having just polished out where it was binding mine was the butterfly physically binding in the body. Just polished the edges and body up, shifted the carbon and butterfly back in. If not fixed, I have at least now ruled that out.

    • @AJCars.
      @AJCars.  Před 2 měsíci +1

      @@YootubeUK yeah I made sure to get all the carbon out of mine aswell incase it stuck again, the butterfly is a common thing to go aswell because they’re so weak

  • @tengzturiagaiii3185
    @tengzturiagaiii3185 Před 5 měsíci +2

    Hi, is the throttle possition sensor is integrated in the throttle body? And do you have to reprogram the throttle body when unplugging and plugging it back?

    • @AJCars.
      @AJCars.  Před 5 měsíci +2

      Yes the position sensor it part of the body I’m sure, but I would say get a new one as I had a second hand one and it was faulty and threw me right off thinking it was other issues, and no you don’t have to reprogram it purely plug and play
