How to play Me and My Uncle. This song was mostly played live by the Grateful Dead and I believe Jerry and Bobby helped write it but John Phillips from the Mamas and Papas and Joni Mitchell were also involved in the writing.
Chords: G Em G Em G Em G A Em/B7 Em Em
I will follow this up with a lesson on basic I vi progression soloing (G being the I and Em being the vi) progressions and show more examples, especially using that B7 at the end which goes into a Harmonic Minor modulation real quick. See the 3rd of B7 (D#) is not in the normal scale of that progression. Also, the A7 arpeggio comes out of that pentatonic scale.
