Love this video. Gave me some good ideas - thanks!
Loved it! Keep up The Good work!
Thank you so much. I needed this. I made a bad mix the other night with a few curve balls with new music. I was feeling down about it but this advice and skill really helps and is encouraging.
thank you ! I'm totally beginner . Even I'm using denon set, you make me understand better !

Love your energy and demonstrations! would love to see mixing dance/future house. Im trying to find a demo shows some tech house being added if possible.
Thanks Ethan, I appreciate that. I have a tutorial video on tech house and have some demo mixes coming: czcams.com/video/ZN846zDXv1g/video.html
Club Ready DJ School look forward to seeing it! Thanks for the link. Best tutorial on tech house I’ve seen. How easy is it to mix some tech house tracks into dance music?
@@Laflash1 Easy, just experiment and go with what feels right, but when playing live make assure you're clear on promoters goal for the event.
you are an antidepressant, my man!
Hey man love this! my biggest problem is phrase mixing, how do you get it so perfect every time?
Haha people will tell you practise, but I believe it needs to be conditioned. YOU 100% should check out my course - I guarantee I am not just doing a pitch but I can condition phrasing and the mixing process big time - you'll be transformed!!
Hey I've got a question im pretty new to djing and you talk quite a lot about the chorus but I haven't really understood what that is could someone explain this to me? But I have to say your tutorials are really helpful thanks for that.
You should check out my course as it sounds like you're in need of some solid foundations first that we can build on. I am certain I can get you playing like a pro in weeks: www.clubreadydjschool.com/club-ready-dj-course/
So after 20+ years of wanting to learn to dj, i broke down and bought myself a ddj-800 and looking at taking your course and had a few questions. I will be starting from scratch with very little knowledge. The learning videos, does it include the music you use in the videos, or will need to learn with our own. IS there a forum, in case we have questions? Is specific to one genre, as i love all kinds. I am not looking to tour the world, just something to do around the house and if i get decent enough maybe do some twitch streams.
Did you take the course as same thinking I like a lot of genres from dance to bass house and electro house and big room and tech so wondering if you did and how well you rate on 1 to 10
It would be good if he did a video on how to transition with a 4 band EQ. Does he not have a video on that?
Not yet, but you're right - this would make a cool video - I'll work towards it!
@@ClubReadyDJSchool I have a Xone:92 and still I question myself when mixing. 'Should I use the Mid-low? or the low on this track? etc.' My channel has video recordings of me mixing on it doing practice sets so I can see my mistakes an and try to teach myself. I'm using same the same 900NXS players as in your videos. But with the Xone:92. I have so many things I could comment on in regard to your such kick back easy to understand approach. One caveat I always strive to over come is trying to pin down what track is slower or faster than the other when they go out of sync! Do you ever have that problem?
I would like to know if those are the only kinds of music that is listened to in australia . What happened to soca , reggae , county & western and latin ?
C & W all the way!!!!!

Have had any experience DJing and mixing Soca music?
I could look into it - could you help me out and send me some big artists / tracks to my email to help me get started: andrew@clubreadydjschool.com
00:31 I think i dont unterstand it correctly, what are you sayling? "the epic sense of house"!? :)
deeper kinds of house, heavier styles of dance, vocal driven music :) I am generalising a little haha :) Sorry I will try and speak more clearly in future ;)
I’m so confused. How’d he beat match the two songs w different BPMs at 12:15 ?
it's a transition track. The intro starts at 100 bpm then goes to 128
There's nothing else like mixing deep house, progressive and dark house. Maybe a little techno here and there. But that EDM, tech house and dub step ewwwww lol imo
