    Got mine a month ago. So far, i am enjoying it and considering the same as good or value-for-money buy at P1.799M, Metro Manila price. Driving/handling and riding the same feel comfortable and amazing for a PPV as midsized SUV. I cannot compare and feel the diffrence though with other brands/makes' latest models as i havent driven or ridden on them. Anyway, i am amazed that, as an entry level variant, it has autohold feature. You have to set it on the infotainment screen. Once turned on, i didnt find it necessary to turn it off anymore. During stop and go traffic condition, u can just slightly or not fully step on ur brake. The autohold will not engage, so u can simply release brake to move after a momentary stop. During heavy traffic and stopping will take a bit longer, fully step on the brake to engage autohold and release foot from the brake pedal, then just step on the gas pedal if u want to move forward. Meaning, no need for the lift/push button/electric hand brake and no need to turn off-turn on the autohold function on the infotainment screen. I only use the electric hand brake when the vehicle is parked. Also, there is actually an autofolding side mirrors. You just have to turn that feature ON on the infotainment screen. I am also enjoying that, as a base variant, it has a wireless apple carplay and android auto capability (with voice automated feature for carplay and android only, and not with the entire car or infotainment system). I doubt if the other maker's BASE VARIANT or similarly/closely priced variant has these features in addition to Trend's electric steering wheel, ventilated discs on all wheels, leathered seats and steering wheel, autolights, SMART keyless entry and push button start, global windows system (remotely opening and closing all windows), speed sensing door locks, cellphone wireless charging pad, and a nice cabin feel. My only issues with Trend and with other new gen variants are the flooring center tunnel at the 2nd row (it's protruding much than what i desire) and the access to the third row (no tumbling down feature of second row seats and while the second row is foldable and slidable, accessibility to 3rd row is not that good compared to a tumbled down 2nd row seats).
    Generally, Trend has the same essential features or functions with the higher Everest New Gen variants. I chose Trend as it suffices my needs and corresponds to my budget, at the moment, for a car. But if money is not an issue for you, go with the higher variants subject to your comparison and choice among other similarly priced brands/makers. On the assumption that money was not an issue for me, I would still go for Ford Everest New Gen for the reasons that: I feel more comforable with the driver's seating position and height compared to others; more comfortable seating position and height as a passenger in the second row. This played an important factor in my decision making though i only compared and actually checked this concern with one brand/make only (parked one at that). This concern is more important to me than the absence of other features found in similarly priced brand/make with Titanium 4x2, Sport or Limited like the 360 cam as i am quite familar with the handling and distance/alllowance estimates for PPVs, or the adaptive cruise control as I prefer to handle the driving manually. Third row space is not an issue for me as I seldom use it. If needed to be used, it can sufficiently and comfortably accomdate my preschooler kid and his not-so-tall/big nanny and let the other passengers on the second row; or the third row can sufficiently accomodate my frequent visitors/passengers who are of averaged Filipino height at 5'4" to 5'7". Also, i like the exterior design and the interior/cabin more than the other brand/make. These observations are subjective though, so better actually see, sit and feel the difference with the other brand/make to your heart's content.
    Anyway, Trend's difference with the higher variants are found on Ford's website. To mention a few notable differences with the next higher variant, Limited at P1.99M has: Front sensors, Dual Zone and Auto Climate Control (Trend's is single zone and manual only), rain sensing wipers, leathered portions on the dashboard and on the driver and front passenger's sidedoors, autodimming rearview mirror (not a big deal for me since i placed or replaced Trend's rearview mirror with a rearview with dash cam), vanity/sunvisor mirror on the driver side (there's none on the Trend and the one on its front passenger side has no vanity mirror lights), chrome accents on the stepboard, powered/auto tailgate (not handsfree), extended LED taillight (Limited's and other higher variants' look aesthetically better for me), Mags design (Trend's looks better for me but Limited's can be replaced or sold and replaced), 12V socket on the 3rd row/cargo area, 4 USB ports compared to Trend's only 2, rearview mirror-mounted usb port.
    Compared with Sport at P2.089M, Sport has bigger mags/rims at 20s compared to Trend/Limited's 18s, powered front passenger seat, handsfree auto tailgate, seats are with Sport styling/logo/mark, blackened designed of other variant's chromed accents/portions, Everest letterings on the hood's front portion, Sport marks on the side doors exterior and at the rear portion.
    For Titanium 4x2 at P2.179M, I will mention that i like better its bigger infotainment screen at 12 inches. Lower variants' are smaller at 10 inches, and you can feel the difference when reversing as the infotainment screen splits (for all variants), showing half or a third of it as the reverse cam display, thus, making the reverse cam display on the Trend/Limited/Sport more smaller. It also has puddle lamps at the side mirrors, panoramic moonroof, 230V socket at the rear center console, and ambient lighting. These are in addtion to the functional features that Sport has. For sleeker or executive exterior feel or design, Titanium looks better than Trend or Limited for me. Maybe because of its 20 mags, Titanium mark/logo, more chromes (subjective though). While Sport has sportier or better looks (subjective).
    For 4x4 Titanium at P2.495M, all i can say is that it's a full package complete with Driver Assist Technology and with a different powertrain with the other variants. See variants comparison at Ford's website. Also, it is better or more value for money, on paper, compared with other brand/maker's top variant.
    If you want the Titanium variant, much more the 4x4, be patient enough for the waiting period on the availability thereof. The reservation list and waiting time are longer compared with Trend. I have no first hand knowledge with Sport and Limited's.
    Finally, it's too early for me to comment on Ford's parts/vehicle's reliability/longevity and Ford's afterales services and rates. First time buyer and user of Ford car here. Good luck to me.

    Base variant for Php 1,799,000 with C clamp LED DRL'S and has safety for their customers in mind, with a lot of airbags, the chrome accent in the front and same color of the door handles as the body color and a nice rim design for the base variant? My uncle has a Ford Everest Trend variant 2016 or 2017 not sure, but it still looks good! If I had the money and budget, I would definitely consider buying this! Another short but quick detailed review and walkaround by Joo!

    the only significant difference i can account of between the trend variant and the limited/sport is the front sensor. it really helps you navigate easier on tight spaces.
    no ADAS/360 camera for a 2m car is just not justifiable. talo na sya nung nissan terra na variant at that same price.
    as for the other features na wala kay trend at meron sa sport/limited, they are all just aesthetics and can live without it.
    this is why we got the base variant :D

    • @AJ-ey1qx
      @AJ-ey1qx Před rokem +2

      Sufficient for 5'7'' or shorter regular/normal-bodied passengers. Understandably not that comfortable with second row seats; also 3rd row seats are not reclinable. Better or the same with other PPV brands/makes except for Isuzu MU-X which has the most spacious 3rd row and the seats have good floor clearance for PPVs. To mention also, Nissan Terra has good accessibility to 3rd row (tumbled down 2nd row seats), reclinable 3rd row seats and sufficient 3rd row space but the problem is the seats floor clearance. See review.

    • @AJ-ey1qx
      @AJ-ey1qx Před rokem

      None as far as i have asked and inquired from 4 dealers in Metro Manila. But you can haggle with the agent/dealer with regard to the other cash out concerns like LTO registration around P11k, TPL at around 1.6K, Comprehensive Insurance for 1 year at around 50k (unlikely). Pero depende na yan sa dealer or agent pero unlikely due to the demand of the units. I was offered free LTO registration from one agent from one dealership but when i decided to purchase and came back to the dealership, wala na available unit. So i look for another dealership na may available unit or shorter waiting list and i was only granted free TPL. For bank P.O., you can ask and avail if there is an existing promotion of your bank or from other banks with regard to free LTO registration fee (around P11k), free Chattel Mortgage Fee (around P25k to P30k), free Comprehensive Insurance Fee (usually for 1 year only at P50k), other promos.
