Wstyd mi. Bo Czechy w mojej świadomości, to kilka pobytów w Pradze, czeska literatura i filmy ze złotego okresu czeskiego kina łącznie z Rumcajsem i Krecikiem 😂😂😉. Tak niewiele wiemy o sobie my Polacy i Czesi o nas. I jeszcze ten cholerny rok 1968, za który nigdy nie będzie dość przeprosin. Choć warto pamiętać o kryształowych postaciach jak Ryszard Siwiec. On dziś ma pomnik i swoją ulice w Pradze.

We have complexes that your cities are so beautiful - everything in Poland was destroyed by wars, but somehow we are slowly rebuilding our land (there is nothing to say about the period under the russian boot - it was disastrous).

Thank you for personal comment Rene. We did! I have to admit, that we focused our travels for years on south of Europe while not knowing how beautiful Poland is. And yes, we were touched by turbulent history of Malbork and amazed at the same time, how Malbork was renovated. And in Gdansk, we could see the ongoing renovation, while keeping the historical character of the town, with our own eyes. Well done.

​@@boomersontheroad You have to visit Warsaw to understand. A city like Frankenstein. This is a city of contrasts. There are extraordinary beautiful places and disgusting ones but its history is fascinating. You must start your tour at the Warsaw Uprising Museum. Only then will you understand this place. I like the Czech sculptor Jan Czerny. He's a witty guy. He told a joke about the Warsaw Old Town. You have here a beautiful baroque style from the second half of the 20th century.😂😂😂😉 Gdańsk was destroyed by the Russians after the front had passed(a similar fate applies to many of our cities). They did what they are doing now in Ukraine. They destroyed, raped, robbed. Read The Tin Drum.
