Lake Tahoe: Loved it when I visited, The most Amazing thing about Lake Tahoe was that whatever minerals are in there, It sparkles as if there are gold flakes all through it. Was a neat drive up, elevation is really high. Oh and the water was freezing cold to swim in!
go to Okanagan Lake - ten times better than Tahoe. Tahoe is for skiing.

Canada is choke-full of natural wonders. We have so many beautiful lakes that could top so many of the lakes on this list.
Yes canada is awesome but what makes European lakes extra special are pretty villages with castles and villas dotted around the shores

RARA LAKE, SEY PHOKSUNDO LAKE, PHEWA LAKE, TILICHO LAKE, GOKYO LAKE, GOSAIKUNDA LAKE are most beautiful & underrated lakes from Nepal.
Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire is my favorite. It’s spectacular in the fall when the maple trees surrounding it are ablaze with color.

Mt. Pinatubo Crater Lake is one of the newest lake on earth! It was tagged as a "beautiful disaster" when it was formed during its eruption in 1991. It's a sight to behold when you see it's craggy good look walls towering right before your eyes! It's a mix of fury beauty, serenity and exotic panorama. Now a haven for adventure seekers.
Taal - You would be puzzled when you know it was and island in a lake, a lake in an island, an island in a lake, and a lake in an island! And it is for you to know why. Nevertheless it is amazing! A beautiful active volcano was sitting in the middle.

All through the list I was was wondering about Lake Louise but then I saw Moraine Lake listed at # 1 so I am good! I think Lake Atitlan in Guatemala should have made the list--how many lakes have 3 volcanoes? Pretty awesome list! I want to go to all those lakes some day.

@@barrydolan2533 I went in 2019. The island is overrun with tour groups from China, but the castle is beautiful. Also go to Vintgar Gorge! Podhom and Spodnje Gorje, the villages between Bled and Vintgar, are super quaint and beautiful.
i was at Lake Bled twice. you have to climb on a mountain to have a view of the lake with the Julian Alps in the background. the vie is stunning

Taal Lake in Tagaytay, Philippines should be on this list as it is a very unique lake with volcano island called Taal Volcano (one of active smallest volcanoes in the world) in the middle of the lake & with a crater lake in it. Sadly it errupted lately but still beautiful.

Lake gokyo,Phewa and Tilicho is one of the best lake from Nepal. Lake Gokyo lies beneth the Gokyo pass and you can see the one of the best reflection of Annaurnna mountains range in Phewa lake. Where as Tilicho is lake located in highest altitude.

They forgot "Laguna Verde" in the tri border between Chile, Argentina and Bolivia. It's a beautiful lake that changes colors at the same time every morning from blue to emerald green, due to the winds from the Pacific moving around high concentrations of copper in the water.

The best lake I have seen is in Gunma, Japan and Shaanxi, China. Also a good lake is in Dumaguete, Philippines. Of Course, I also love the Lakes of Hanoi!

The lakes in the video are lakes that are located in the forests in each country. Or in the high parts of the mountains. But Lake Baikal is incredible. You can't drive on every lake.
