Guru I wanted let you kno I watch all your videos you inspired me ls swap my cut dog keep going big dawg 💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿
Thanks bruh I appreciate the love
i like it. i was looking for another way to do a dually type set up on a rat rod i'm building and this is perfect. saves me from buying a $500+ dually axle when i can just by a 1/2 tn chevy 6 lug for $100 and change it.. thx and i like the hat....
Get ya Paper Cuz😂☝️what's crackin Guru? Glad u back postin again🙈
Which bolts did you use to bolt on the wheels? The factory ones you had or ones that came with the new wheel setup?
Good video, only thing I would say, is that going extra is not safe. You pass the elastic stretch of the bolt.
Why did you do that? Was it because you wanted a certain rim that didn't come in your trucks bolt pattern? I'm getting ready 2 lift my astro & I noticed its a lot more rim choices in 8x? bolt patterns.
as much as i don't want to i may be forced to use a similar set of adapters when i go to 8 lug. depends if i can find everything to properly convert my truck or not.
Good to see u working on ur own car 💪
Man it felt great 🦾
@@steventupua8547 I just did the 24x14s. They fit but rub in the front end. My trucks on a 7in lift, It’s a little nerve rackin driving it because I’m scared my tires gonna fall off but so far so good. Tomorrow I’m gonna re tourqe them. Finding lug nuts for them was the hardest part for me.
Tha trucc look hella smooth bro 😎
I appreciate that bruh much love
Where did you find them adapters? I got the same ones and I’m trying to find some studs that fit them. They are stripping out
Hey I have a question by any chance how much of a lift kit or do you have a leveling kit on there or nothing
I wonder if there is enough thread length for a dually setup?
beautiful!
Looks good!!!
Much love
I had hell getting those adapters off my Yukon . The Allen wrench screws got stripped
Good info. To make it easier to thread on the nuts, put the nuts on first, then cut the studs. File the cut, then unthread the nut. I would caution on two points:
First; Cross tightening pattern - snug the first nut then the one that is 180 degrees from it (number 4 of 6). Then move to lugs 2 and 5 then 3 and 6. For the eight bolt: 1 (of 8) and 5 (of 8), then 2 and 6, 3 and 7, and 4 and 8. This will seat the adapter flush then keep proper pressure on the hub.
Second; The torque setting is not just for the minimum amount of pressure. It is the minimum and maximum. Those adapters are made of aluminum. Even on the iron materials, you can over pressure the threads and they can strip out or stretch. Over-torquing the screws or studs can cause serious failures in the devices and will release the manufacturer of any liability if you have a failure. When torquing down the nuts, screws, or studs, make sure that you go to the "click" and stop. Don't give it more. That over-torques the threads.
I’m thinking of swapping out my 10 bolt to a 14 bolt full floater. These spacers might be just what I’m looking for on the front
that is exactly what I have in mind for my project. I have a regular cab short bed 04 silverado 4x4 w the 4.3L v6 in it. I want to do a full heavy duty conversion (6.0L, 4L80E 4WD trans, 14 bolt rear end, 8 lug adapters in the front). and I wanna top it off with those classic 16" wheels that GM would have on those gmt800 heavy duties
I've got a nice 04 Silverado extended cab Storm Grey Metallic...deepdish Bullethole wheels 267k miles and counting
I’m at 237 and she’s still running like she just hit 100k 🦾
What's the name of that column lock to prevent stealing
Back at it...
Another one coming soon
Good Job Bro👍🏾
🦾💯
Sittin right bro💯
Fashow 💯🦾
Oh yeah that shit 🔥🔥
Good way to get kickback
Dat Blacc Ice on em in the end.. Get ya paper cuzz.. Ooo weee
Yes zah indeed bruh 🦾
I’m having trouble with something and we have same wheels do you happen to know the bolt pattern to those wheels please
Did those adapters make your wheels stick out a lot more ? GBODY gang bang 💥 bang 💥
What size is that Allen head socket?
Bad Idea I had some about 8 years ago & the tire & wheel came off along with the 2nd piece of the adapter. Disaster in the making
What brand adapters
How are the adapters rn?
What bolt patter are those wheels
Hey man, maybe a stupid question, but other than the wheels coming out further, what is the reason for going from 6 to 8 lug? I have a 2005 exactly like yours I have had since new,has 265k and still runs like new, been through two transactions,am ready to start doing other things, like a lift and etc..
This was only because the car from factory is 6lug and the rims is a 8lug most likely there coming off soon
👌👌
💯
is that bolt pattern for the 2500 wheels??
I just cannot handle that hat. Funny as hell!
#teambrownskin 🤣😅😂 tryna keep me color bruh thanks for watching 🦾
I'm trying to put some xd rims on my 2000 f150 but my wheel barring a lil small so should I put wheel spacers on them to make it fit
If that’s what you have to do to make it work 🤷🏾♂️
💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
💯🦾
Where you order them from ?
Did you have to thread the ends of the studs where you used the grinder?
I didn’t thanks for watching
Why dont they make them a one piece or put the studs through the allen head holes after machining them correctly so there is less parts to fail and the tires won't stick out like a moron?
8:06 all that Mexican songs foo haha
Salsa music gets me working faster 🤣
What size lift you have ?
Who makes the adapters?
they look good bro
Might be coming off
I just ordered some from ezAcessories and idk what lug nuts to get that’ll fit the adapters
Did you ever find the lug nuts to put on?
How do you like the ezacessories?
I just bought these yesterday for my chevy 2500. Mine is going from 8 lug to 6 lug. Are your adapters still holding up? Should I do the same thing?
Haven’t had any issues had them on for about 3 months as put on about 4K miles no issues I took them off sold the rims
I an looking for the same thing. How did yours hold up? Which ones did you get? Where they hun centric? Thank you
Hey if you get a shop close to Riverside Ca, Holla! Ill come build some Hot Rods wit U! lol
That’ll work fasure
Planning on getting these how are they holding up?
Still on the car maybe 2k miles later no issues
I would of just bought a 1500hd with the 8 luggers in case you remember GM did build those gmt800s
I wish the windshield was tinted 😎
Lol he’ll me to just not 5% going 35% this time
Dont you hate when that happens wit a grinder
Did u have to get an alignment afterwards?
Nope
Did u have any issues with wheel breaking off
No issues road them maybe 6 months
Lookin good I gotta 1500 on 35s
I’m switching it up going to go that route
@@TheLsSwapGuru 💯 u ain’t feelin the 37s
Live them just don’t feel safe I drive to hard going to use them on my duramax when I get one
Bad idea bro. Buddy of mine and me did this on a 75 caprice to put six lug 26’s on. Used green locc tight and all. Lost one on the 10 freeway doing 80. No fun
🤦🏾♂️ honestly I don’t feel comfortable with them at all lol I’m about 1500 miles on them right now no issues but constantly worrying
The Ls Swap Guru swap out the eight lug studs for some ARP studs. Always throw slug or bolt on before cutting threads. When you rake the lug off it will clean the threads. Start using a star pattern to torque down wheels. Two passes and don’t overtoque. Keep up them swaps coming.
Same thing happened to me fucked the front end of my old school up bad
Sorry to hear that champ I guess I took mines off in time can’t mess up my baby
Did you already sell the 2001......what did you get for bigfoot??
czcams.com/video/e430Xp_pENo/video.html
Did u get any vibrations while driving?
Zero
Did they come with the lug nuts?
No
Some lug tight lol
You can share information please
factory adapters or store sale for contact information
Everybody keeps saying the 2 piece spacer/adapters are trash… what do you think
Had them on 6 months no problem Re-torque them when I did brakes all of them still were torqued to spec
Sometimes over torquing is just as bad as under torquing.
These were torqued to spec

I have a bad feeling bout this guru!!!!
Me as well there coming off champ
Still on the truck today haven’t had time to pull them off there fine I just drive to hard do lots of hauling don’t think it’s smart to risk for what I do
Bro don't forget about a 8 lug spare!!
I think I’m going to just take them off powder coat the stocks and get new tires for the 17s
@@TheLsSwapGuru were you having problems with the adapters?? Looks to go this route also 6 lug to 8
Man, you're not using the exact centerbore. This type isn't safe. The spacer should be hold/rest on the center bore not on the bolts.
Still holding up?
Yep no issues over 2500 miles but plan on taking them off soon adapters will be for sale
Still runni good ?
Did the truck held up 5 months no problem
We’re did I get them from
eBay
Can u put the link in here
Anyone ever do 5 to 8 lugs
All in good humor nobody get offended laugh out loud what happened did he walk off and go drink a model and come back or is that his dad 😆
Not sure what part you talking about but thanks for watching
Mexican music definitely sounds like drunken circus music. .....I've been saying that since I was a kid!!!
Lol show ya right
Dingis
Not very skillful person. Never used cross pattern when tightening the nuts. In this kind of work, he must know the importance of having even stress distribution. Also, he never removed any rust on the mating surfaces.
