      The wood blocks are not twice as tall as wide so after inserting 2 blocks in the case the game/ puzzle stalls.

      @@nikhilreddy8550 All you do it put two horizontally across the bottom, then put two vertically at the two edges, then put one in the middle horizontal and slide to the top. Then the last piece will fit horizonal right in the middle.

    You don’t really need to do all those moves, you can just put the two up top and the two to the sides directly. It’s quite simple

      but since the top pieces covers part of the opening, you have to place the side pieces horizontally or diagonally to fit in the hole, and you may not have enough room to rotate the piece vertically in the box

      I think if you put the side pieces in first that could work, but not if you put the top pieces in first

    I don't really do many puzzles, but I figured this one out before you even started. Not that it's even remotely a difficult solution, yet it gave me an immense sense of satisfaction anyway.
    I can see why puzzle-solving might be habit-forming. ^-^

    I solved it too..but had to use the drawing pad..drew the box , drew the pieces , drew every moving of pieces and viola..its done👍fits perfectly🤘✌️🙂

      A 4cm square..labled each cm on width as a,b,c,d.and labeled each cm on height as p,q,r,s..
      So the gap given has in between has labelings(bq,cq,br,cr)...we start with 1st piece , put it in place bqcq - move it to bpcp.(1st piece done)..take 2nd piece , put it at brcr , move it to bscs , move again at csds, rotate at dsdr , move to dqdp(2nd piece done) , take 3rd piece and put it at brcr , move to bscs , move again at csds , rotate it to dsdr(3rd piece done).put 4th piece again at brcr , move again to bscs , now move to asbs , rotate at asar , move to apaq(4th piece done)..take 5th piece , put again at brcr , move to bscs , move to asbs , rotate to asar(5th piece done)..take 6th piece , put it at brcr , move to bscs(6th piece done)..put 7th piece at brcr(done)..& finally put 8th piece at bqcq..done..🙏🙏.. solved this sort of puzzle for the first first time

    You didnt even have to slide those two pieces. Just put them where they go the first time and you're fine.

      @@mari4759 your comment was literally the first one I saw so I responded to it. When I scrolled down I saw a lot more people making the same mistake in reasoning that you did, and I also saw other people correcting those people also. Then I also saw people conceding that they were initially incorrect and they didn't realize that the hole would be blocked off from putting the block in place. You're not correct just because you're in the majority of commenters that all made the same mistake.

    I mean it’s not that hard. You just need to realize you need the last piece that goes in directly in the center, and from there its pretty obvious how it fits together

    There are so many puzzles that try to outsmart everyone and the outcome looks weird or are unsatisfying. This is the opposite of that. Just a fantastic design all around

    I saw the solution right away. The last piece would have to be in the center, because there just is no other way. Then it's all about arranging that.

    I watched few puzzles like this and I always anxious that solution would be non symmetrical and last piece solution would have awkward angle but this is great.

    When he says “rearrange”, we can rotate one detail (on the right side) inside the box and place the 2 ones left. 😊

    it's evident that the last two pieces must go horizontally and have, at their sides vertical pieces.
    the other two pieces is easy to figure where they need to go. the "hard" part is figuring how to place them there.

    This puzzle is a classic example you'll solve a problem in reverse. This means if you set the wooden blocks in a way where the middle piece is in the center of the box. You can revise the engineering of the rest of the wooden blocks.

    pretty easy puzzle to start at the end and work backwards. even if you haven't seen the solution. the pieces have to fit through the hole, and there's a very limited number of ways that works out

    No reorganization necessary. Add 2 parts horizontally on the bottom, then add 1 part to the left and 1 to the right, leaving space to slide in the last 2 in the middle.

    I was sorta right, I imagined lining 4 around the edge and then putting the last two on top of each other in the remaining space in the middle-front (or middle-back depending on the orientation)
