We're going to play as Germany and form the Holy Roman Empire. This is quite difficult, but offers great possibilities. We will need to take Switzerland, France, Czechoslovakia, Austria, Yugoslavia, Italy, France, Luxembourg, Belgium and The Netherlands, as well as get Victoria 3 to rule our country.

his vids are actualy very good and a joy to watch , but for me order 66 kinda killed it . i dont mind learning a few exploits and how to execute them , but watching games based on it is poor gameplay and boring to watch. , but what he said at the end of this vid i have good hopes for a comeback,

@@Taureor I think longer videos are fun. People mostly watch these videos when they just want to lie down after a exhausting day and relax. The longer video is, less you need to think about what to watch. Also watching you trying out new mods is fun too, i especially love mods with lots of events so i can just pause and read them.
It would be funny if the “Hindenburg goes up in flames” event made you lose some manpower, like 4-50 men.

The Event to get Austria to unite with Germany needs the following:
Germany is either non-aligned or democratic
Austria is either non-aligned or democratic
Germany and Austria are in the same Faction
(Can happen only once)

@@Taureor I would like to see more exploit stuff like the Sudetenland with oppose hitler one. Spiffing Britt stopped doing lots of grand strategy and similar exploits and I feel you are a man who loves to see the gears of industry turn and grind thinks to dust.
@@Taureor as well you can use the justification tension on someone else and just create a faction with them during the civil war instead to trigger the event peacefully
Is that true though? Because I had that happen when Austria is not in my faction. Like when I was Democratic Germany. And I still got it.
I must admit that the sequence discussing suspicion and “special investigators”, delivered in that fashion, was simply marvellous. I haven’t laughed that hard in a while.

This was an excellent video! Perfectly executed strategy that is almost begging for a part 2. In the future, I'd love to see a bit more of the decision-making process, such as with templates, industry, factory distribution, etc. It's always nice to gain insight into other people's strategies, especially if you're a newer player trying to learn the intricacies of this game.

Just wanted to say that you earned my sub. I used this as a rough guide, did a few things differently and I'm unstoppable in 1942, I own almost the whole world. I've done a few world domination before but never as an unaligned, until this I really didn't think it was possible tbh.

I like to get to war with France right before the civil war, in order to order 66 them later. Also, while at war with the Allies you can get military access with Italy and order 66 them also. But, this is much more reliable, and was fun to watch you order 66 Britain, especially due to the changes to naval invasions.

Taureor can you please do a Brazilian Empire playthrough where you join the Japanese faction and puppet Portugal while annexing all of Portugal's colonies?
Did you try comply map mode to see core?
Does it still work that the Hindenburg Desaster only occurs in peace time or do you have to enact those pesky safety regulations?
Although even with increased safety measures the thing is still a giant bomb.
You need to unpasue for the resistance to disappear if I'm not mistaken.

that's a nice strategy, did you know that you can actually invade britain and have them as your puppet while doing this? it basically works the same except you wont have to get them to like you nor join with the allies this time around.

I can't for the life of me figure out why the game prompted Portugal to insta-join your faction, even when they weren't facing war.
I've had it happen with nations at war joining (who then instantly call in the non-puppet nations in my faction that I was deliberately not involving, opening up four more fronts) but never randomly at peace.

also, could you try unpopular countries either in base game or in popular mods? nobody does that. everybody plays russia, france, germany, italy, uk, japan. or unpopular tree paths

I usually use another cheap trick to win the civil war: disband your army then send the entire equipment to Spain (once it's in the civil war) 5 days before "Oppose hitler" triggers. Then cancel it and the "German Reich" has basically no weapons left to fight with meaning they can't train any new units. In one attempt i forgot this and then I suddenly had fully equipped infantry divisions as opponents. Though that might mess with the world tension balancing if you wait that long. I also usually gobble up Poland first so that the German Reich sends at least a few of it's divisions to conquer empty land giving me more holes to exploit (as the civil war leaves the Junta with everything except the eastern half of the original German Reich)

Hey Taureor, after getting into the same faction with the UK I don't have this decision about restoring the British titles, am I missing some DLC or content? the only DLC I don't have is the battle of bosporus. Despite applying all crucial decisions such as sharpening the air safety measures I still cant get the decisions for kaiserin. please help :)

If you do early collaborations on France, do you lose them when joining the allies?
That's an interesting question. If I understand correctly, it will cancel your operations that are in preparation and I think ongoing ones too. However, the collaborations you completed before that should persist.

The most German road to victory
You can capitulate belgium by simply declaring war on them, before the german reich capitulates in the civil war, you get austria along with belgium
since austria is non aligned you can invite them into your faction after flipping and eat them for free without a war , you get an event that they voted for referendum as if you completed anchuluss
so you're better off justifying on Poland

yes, your army has to be very weak. I think if you disbang everything they will always refuse, but I might be wrong

the civil war aspect doesn't really make sense, you make them spawn with way more units, in and they're assaulting me and my units are literally just dying. I feel like the civil war is way easier not doing it this way?
