    Good job man
Seems like a lot of work but it makes much easier with the right tools.
I have to do the same job in my old 04 6.0 too
I was thinking to lift the bed up but that's why I am finding what way will be the most easy way.
Thanks for sharing the video 👌🏾

I have seen this done another way.. they loosen the bed bolts on the opposite side.. then remove the bed bolts on the tank side and tilt the bed high enough to pull the sending unit without removing the tank.. both methods work.. can't really say which is easier..

how long did it take you? my 2005 6.0 has the intermittent fuel gauge problem, sometimes it works and sometime it does not.... guess i'm gonna have to do mine sooner or later. looks like a pain in the ass to do since i do not have access to a lift...... where you located, wanna do mine?

Correct me if I’m wrong but I think the gasket is angle so that the inside should be angled in and the outside up, so that when you set the fuel gauge in it presses down evenly? Maybe? I know that’s how the gasket works on the fuel filter gasket for the 7.3 so just speculating

Certainly could be all these fuel pump/sender gasket fit differently. Aftermarket stuff seems to very day to day. I personally use the original unless I don’t think it’s good enough to last

this motor hasnt been apart, but i would recommend oem ford lifters for most application.
