Actually, this could be pretty useful if you want to mass produce polar bears! Just remove the killing factors and you got a polar bear generator!
@@conquestanddeath4406 Polar bears are one of the least useful mobs in Minecraft they have no special abilities so, resource-vise the farm will serve almost no purpose which is the whole point of a farm, but yes it can be used for mass generating polar bears but they won't be useful and would end up increasing entities in the world.
Fish farm:
You should create a torch farm using enderdragon respawn mechanics that has a payoff rate of about 4 torches for 1 endcrystal you put into the farm.
Y9u could also make a wood into charcoal system, and use a bamboo farm for sticks

Nothing is useless about obscure technical processes in Minecraft!
This is actually a really useful farm on a server that i played on. The server has plugin that drops mob heads when a mob die and you can sell it for in game currency. And polar bears heads sells for a Lot of money.
Someone somewhere near by spawns multiple passive mobs. :cope:
But then after your farm, the prices for polarbear heads would drop like crazy
That's how you crash it's value kek. I did something similar but with tridents and we had like shulkerboxes full of it.
@@grim3646 maybe hide the farm and tell then you don't have a farm, then say "I saw so much Polar's, then I got the heads"
@@doctoryoyogaming5122it would still drop the prizes though, if you sell too much. wouldn't really make a difference, you would be lying for nothing.
You're right, this truly is the most useless farm in Minecraft. I didn't believe you at first, but the work you have to put in to kill the passive mobs is too much.
Mojang: *tries to send a message to not kill almost extinct animals
Rays: *makes a farm of it
Poisonous potato farm: "Am I a joke to you?"
You can use them as emergency food sources as poison can't kill players

The polar bear is useful in that it swims faster than the player. This has never been used to great effect, so the polar bear's ability is forgotten, so it is considered useless. Polar bears is also a mob whose aggressiveness towards players can be toggled much like spiders and light. But this hasn't been used to great effect, so it is considered useless.
"They all get pushed into this nifty killing chamber" sounds so sinister
locating the spawn point can totally be done by just using a compass, it will point to the same spot the sand lands on
@@RaysWorks doesn't in singleplayer and it's not a big deal since you can remove the bed. definately less effort than killing the dragon
This might be useful for fox farms to get emeralds, the hard and dumb way.
I love the extent you go to with your farms. You care about the goal you set and have made great progress. Always your own designs and even if you used someone’s design for inspiration you’ll shout them out. Great channel, better person running it. Wish you got the credit you deserve man! Sadly good content is punished on youtube. I try to watch all of your videos and make sure to never forget to at least like them and try to comment when I think of something to say. Keep up the awesome content!

What about a water farm using dripstone and cauldrons (like a lava farm, but with water, even though infinite water sources are trivial to make)
It could be useful in skyblock if it's not raining after you got 1 block of water in cauldrons, and you have wandering trader with dripstone and emeralds to spare
Basically, Dream luck conditions
Or just mods that disable infinite water, idk
@@AlexProGear once you get one water, you can just use a bonemeal in a 1x1x2 deep water pool to get a seagrass for a second source

I'm on a server where killing naturally spawned mobs gives you money (e.g. zombie = $10). For some reason, a polar bear is $250. So, this is free money.
The most hilarious part of this to me is the required process to deal with the creatures at spawn. You have to go on a literal massacre and kill everything around spawn, group up controlled mobs in one spot, and set up a system that kills those mobs as you pass through the Portal to take Nether travel back to the farm not because it’s faster but because you want spawn to remain lifeless and barren while you use the useless farm.

No output items. It's literally completely useless. It just spawns bats and kills them.
Polar Bears are there to be cute then pack a punch for no reason, thats why making a farm where you can hear them die is the most messed up yet rewarding thing cuz of their cuteness and your will to get revenge after they killed you in your hardcore world
I once made a Java villager breeder in a bedrock world when I didn’t realize there was a huge difference. The farm obviously didn’t work so it was pretty useless too

In all seriousness though, it is kinda ridiculous that the animal spawn cap is so small compared to the hostile mob spawn cap.
I'd agree if they didn't contribute so much to lag.

That is true, performance would indeed be a notable limiting factor.
Though, maybe in the future they could try to optimize animal AI like they did for some of the other mobs to help reduce some lag.
Though, even if not, maybe they could do something such as increasing the animal spawn cap somewhat higher to something like 22 animals (a little more than 30% of the hostile mob's 70 spawn cap), since I couldn't see too much of noticable performance issue from a slight increase of 12 animals, especially if they're all spaced out from each other on the world (since animals cause less performance issues the further they are from bumping into other entities).
This has uses because u can easily make a passive mob cap with this, a bat farm is in its own mob cap
Cooked fish are a good food source

I think beating the dragon just to find spawn is a bit silly. You can use a compass, and most newly generated worlds in 1.18 start at 0,0 now anyways

Dumb idea: Make a silverfish farm with the spawner in the stronghold end portal room
you can use this as a exp farm with the furnaces and auto fuels
They can be your lackeys in crime fighting
i actually designed a cooked salmon farm that is way easier to create and it should probably work with cod as well

Polar bear needs some uses. Like Minecraft should give Polar Bears something special. And they gave nothing special to Polar Bears.

I think the most useful ones are: Raid Farm, Witch Farm, and Iron Farm.
A bat farm is far more useless. It would also be more difficult. This farm at least produces an item that can be used,

At best cooked salmon is a good early game food source but you won't have enough powdered snow to make the farm in the early game so yeah it's pretty useless, lol.

@@casualgoats yes, put some nether portals instead of lava, that way they will go to the nether and free the mob cap (and they won't despawn) to let more polar bears spawn, then just put a small killing chamber there in the nether and and splash them with poison potion(to get them on half a heart) and 1 hit all of them with your sweeping edge 3 sword

This feels like the worst farm designed in the best way it can be... It isn't worth constructing because it doesn't give very useful items, it doesn't produce them quickly, and it takes a metric ton of effort to build... This really is the most useless farm in Minecraft...
