This MINECRAFT HARDCORE SERIES is inspired by Wadzee, MumboJumbo, Grian, and sandiction! Instead of being the Hermitcraft SMP, this series is similar to a MINECRAFT CHALLENGE video because it is HARDCORE MINECRAFT! This is similar to my 100 DAYS in MINECRAFT HARDCORE but better!

This video was recorded a while back, but due to some editing issues it took longer than expected to upload, which is why it isnt on the Create 0.5.1 update. Next video will be using the fancy new version of the Create mod (BIGGER WATER WHEELS)!

You could use the big mined out area as a cistern sort of thing. Put in pillars and barrel arches throughout to make it look nice (and use up some of the deepslate) and then you could maybe half-fill it with lava to have an infinite lava source for Create shenanigans (I think Create considers any lava pool of 10K or more to be 'infinite').

You should slowly but surely make the large mine into an auto-crafter for every create block that auto-harvests the materials required to make it so you have inf create blocks.
Not possible as some of the create stuff requires finite resources that cannot be farmes
So fun fact, you don't need funnels of any kind for basins to belts. The basins get a funnel that you can filter automatically if it recognizes a valid belt or depot. And yes, you can even apply the filter you used, though I'd recommend the attribute filter if you're going to do filtering like you did.
The default "funnel" that comes out of a basin is really bad, it only outputs 1 stack of 1 item and it tends to bottleneck the system. It exists as a way to help early game players not get frustrated with automation and running out of resources but it's like training wheels.
@@tuckvison Considering he's only putting in enough to do 1 craft, that sounds like enough for what he's doing. The funnels are a waste of brass in this build is what I was pointing out.

create tool boxes could help with storage as you can put multiple tools (8) into one slot if they match and are the same (enchanted or not) you can also store blocks (8 stacks) and as you can color code and name them they are essentially early game shulkers!

I reckon you could make a version of the nether destroyer that go along forever and return between sections to put the items from the mining into storage. You'd just need a bit more logic to make it a bit different. If you run out of gantry shafts in it, you can include something to deposit previously crafted gantry shafts into the contraption.
You probably already know about them since the recording is older, but some Toolboxes will help you immensely. I can't remember if they added that before 0.5.1 or not.
Love the design, I'll have to steal it when I need to mine out the nether.
Man i havent seen your videos since the mekanism tutorials which helped me a lot, when I used to have time for Minecraft but after so long I have never been so happy for another person's work progress in his content creating and content delivering. Nice videos and keep it up for as long as you feel happy making it :D

Ngl i designed my own washing factory the other day and this is just x10 better space, power and cost wise. Only change I'd make is removing the output funnels since they're obsolete as basins naturally filter outputs onto the belt though that spout. And also making changes for 5.1 since you can have experience nugget blocks. But yeah genuinely amazing compact design.
Any chance of an updated quarry video? Linear or radial, whichever is easier, though I did really like the look of the one used in this video.
It's an extremely good idea to build a mob switch before making giant, flat, dark spaces. Especially in the Nether!
Yea, ive seen lots of people do that in their videos and it never clicked in my head that I should have done it too lol. 20/20 hindsight I guess! I would say that this gave me a chance to get better at fighting ghasts, but as the ground shows... that would just be a lie.

@@matteocdt5214 A mob switch is a "device" consisting of a large number of mobs that don't despawn but still contribute to the mob cap. For example, you could store 70 zombie villagers (you traded with them once before zombifying) inside a chamber that fits in a chunk. When that chunk is loaded, the mobs of that type (hostile, squid, whatever) are already capped, so no more will spawn.
People often build these on the "lazy chunks" in the permanently loaded chunks around spawn. If you look up a mob switch tutorial, they'll probably explain spawn chunks and lazy chunks. Some are also built in more remote areas and require entities going back and forth through Nether portals to make a chunk loader, but these are less reliable as the chunk will unload if you quit/restart your game.

Another little tip, you don't have to make the individual chassis sticky for blocks to stick to them, you can just make one giant selection w the glue 😅
Once you learn that trick you can never go back to chassis
MAN! I really wanted to say you can fill blaze burners just by clicking on the spawner! You don't need to wait.
In your 100 day series you could make a blaze cake factory to get max level boilers!
I know this has nothing to do with this series but just finished the rotarycraft series and was surprised that you didn't do the fusion reactor. Was wondering if you'd be willing to do a stand alone video for it? I've tried finding videos but most were of poor quality or just didn't explain well.
Im watching your 100 days series, since I just got here and I like your content, and you said you hated villager trading. I don't know if this will be helpful, but there's a mod called easy villagers or something along those lines, and it does exactly what it says, makes villagers waaaaay easier. Idk if youd want to install it but it does make using them less painful so i thought I'd mention it

For storage, make a minecart contraption that's just chests. You can store a arbitrary amount of stuff in 3 inventory slots without using shulker boxes.

blast furnaces can only smelt ore but smelt it much faster
smokers can only cook food but cook it much faster
regular furnaces can do everything but do it at the normal rate (there are some items only a regular furnace can smelt, though I can't recall specifics)

You can set up a create smelter, it smelts 16 items per pile with the limit on piles being the length of the conveyor

Rage you know for the ore smelting process you could have just used fans with lava and then get the ore blocks transform them into their normal non block state throw it in front of the fan, wait a couple seconds and boom you smelted everything.
Edit: Yes i know it gives less stuff and no XP but its quicker and needs less stuff

Can you use the Copy/Paste tool from Building Gadgets on an unassembled bore?
Overengineering random things is the essence of Create and I absolutely love it! :)
As for Building Gadgets, Ive never used the mod so I cant say for sure, but I dont see why not since every unassembled block is just that, a block. You can 100% use the Create schematics to copy/paste an unassembled tunnel bore, that I know.

My Nether spawn was in a cave under a lava ocean once. That was rough. Had to use pistons to slowly push through to the surface of the lava.
The new create water wheels are not improved by having more flowing water touch them, you just need to place new wheels nowadays.
Just got started with Create wanted to do this but I just don't know how to do anything after putting glue on all linear , Also good video , keep up the good work
Ayo Rage.... I do wonder.... How about when Mekanism updates for 1.20.1.... Why not make another series? Cause... Well, rumors are they are giving Mekanism something new again, however, I also wonder how well you can blend Create, Immersive Engineering, Applied Energistics 2 and Mekanism together... Also, additional mods I would suggest : Stoneworks, handcrafted and framed blocks, these 3 mods are really nice for decoration around the world :)
I built the tunnel bore you built to the t, but for some reason, after mining about 10 blocks, it starts clipping through the placed deepslate, thus stopping it. Any ideas why?

haven't seen the first episode, so i don't know if you take mod recommendations but, the Drawer Mod, it should fix your storage issues, and your able to extract things from them with the create mod
Try installing sophisticated backpacks for transporting things or the biggerstacks mods

That chest full of nuggets is all well and good, but i was thinking more like a generator that could get me to level 1000+ with no work from me for absolutely no reason :D
For fun I wanted to see if I could recreate this contraption. It took a few hours, but I did it. And man was it satisfying to see all of it work flawlessly once I got it up and running haha

That’s my specialty! :P I tend to get over passionate about the stuff I make and think is cool and end up spending way too long explaining the little intricate things that fascinate me and nobody else.
i think create should be part of vanilla minecraft tbh, I don't use the mod but it just fits so nicely with the rest of the game, I know they wont because its not the direction they want to take the game but it is really an amazing mod

High stress capacity and you could easily increase it with more sails and the speed with cogs

you should check out create enchanting industry if you havent already it would be a great solution in a lot of ways

I've seen you in Doni's videos and thought I'd check you out, and well, i was not disappointed.
Use list filters on your deployers for your tunnel bore. Netherrack, cobblestone, and deepslate cobble. Then you don't have to change them out.

My contraption works only once then the toggle switches are fired again as it changes the position and goes ahead which gives the redstone signal to the gearshift and it is stuck while in pulling up in the new position.
you can make you rotation faster by putting a large cog and then a small cog next to each other diagonally!

I am quite lucky to have an awesome editor to carry my videos now lol. I send him like 30 hours of raw footage and he turns it from a complete mess into a watchable video.
I did this bore design and it doesnt remove everything in its path. it generates some blobs randomly in the middle and the cart gets stuck

In the future, you can build a filter right off your contraption that will eject the netherrack.
You can also use powered rails and have it dump redstone blocks to power the track, just drill those up at the end.
I made a datapack a while ago that gives you ancient debris multiplying using Create machines... I should probably post it up somewhere! If people are interested

Honestly I thought I was dead there too. Idk if people view the world reload momentum removal as "cheating", but that and the random fire protection IV enchant I had saved my butt. Guess I wont say Fire Protection is totally useless if I get it in the future!
