I rode a neighbour's 15-20 year old (maybe more) splendor for an unforeseen errand recently and even now it wowed with me with it's reliability and crisp performance. I complemented him while returning the bike saying that the engine is still in top condition and he said he hasn't touched the engine, only regular servicing and oil change! The original splendor was a legend in all senses of the word and was truly THE commuter bike for a generation, with it's affordability and ease of use.
Meteor will be priced lower than the cb350 Although what you pay for is what you get In the end of the day it terms of quality and reliability it's a Honda Which is a sore spot for all Enfield (rust,weak electricals,etc)
first.. meteor comes with a brand new engine and is loaded to the brim check your facts bro... honda's reliability is good anyday but royal enfield has ironed out major issues in the recent updates. Note: Any bike made of metal will rust if not maintained properly.. i own one since 2016 and even before that, no rust issues majorly.

But sadly royal Enfield is delaying their launches (meteor after deepavali and classic after April 2021) due to supply chain issues. By that time honda highness could capture the market and make a strong presence.

People buy RE for its legacy, classic charm, and the raw feeling of engine between legs and if classic charm of RE don't attract people than why Honda, bajaj, TVS are targetting the retro classic 350 segment in India. RE classic bikes always have been successful in India if you don't believe, the sale chart of RE classic 350 vs the bike you mentioned would speak the truth.
Of course, Honda is a 1000 times more than a RE any given day but when it comes to styling and an evocative one at that, the Hness can't hold a candle to the good ol' classic 350. RE is not only a motorcycle brand; in India, it has become an emotion.
Highness looks clean and has better finish than Re 350. But looks a bit like splendor - May be due to the paint job. Honda said “ wait for another thump “. so we can expect higher displacement bikes in the same consumer segment soon.,..

Re meteor is exactly like thunderbird with a different handlebar. Lol. This bike can directly compete with Suzuki w800, triumph T120 and RE interceptor in terms of looks. I'm glad that honda finally decided to launch it in India.
I reside in a coastal village in Karnataka, 500 km away from the nearest seller / service centre! I discovered this when I was trying to book it online. Obviously I am disappointed. Honda must sell and service it from all the outlets. I used an Activa for 12 years, and sold it about 8 years ago, and not using any two wheelers since then. Now I want to go back to a two wheeler, and Honda was my first choice, but I can't buy it if I have to travel 500 km for servicing...
This bluetooth features is good but no one can't show how its work actually, I hope Autocar will show details info about bluetooth system while road test.

The honda hness cb350 is a great and modern looking bile in its segment,. The engine has performance, refinement. It also good features like a very good instrument cluster with bluetooth connectivity and other info, HSTC, all LED lighting including the LED indicators with hazard function. For rupees 1.85 -1.90 lakh price, The new hness cb350 is a all-round package. Only problem is the availability and service network and for now sad see that the cb350 will be only available in big wing dealership. But If honda will expand their sales & service for this bike, then we can see more of this machines out on the road.
With Honda will come refinement, quality, service and reliability. Such classic bikes attract all age group of riders and are kept for long so it should be less on maintenance which surely Honda can give.

Best colour in pro version
Biggest design flaw is the Grey Silver Rare footpeg unit. Its a mismatch to the classic looks of the bike because it looks modern. RE shines here.
