Mary can do nothing without first gaining the power from God/Jesus. Prayer, abstaining from sin, and leaning on Jesus, these things are punching the devil in the face. Mary, pray for us. It didn’t make any sense to me that prayer could invite a demonic force into my life but then I happened upon this video today and I’m now convinced that what I felt was real and it was the devil lashing out at me for calling upon the Blessed Mother.

The devil HATES the Rosary and especially our blessed mother. I suggest that you go to a priest and discuss these events. I had what I would describe as almost a sort of exorcism. The priest said a special prayer over me and protected me in the name of our Lord after my confession. I can't really describe what happened except to say that there was a lot of crying/snot and exhaustion (a good exhaustion) from this. Such a relief!

One of the reasons I am converting to Catholicism is interesting and comes from the experiences of Catholic Priests who perform exorcisms. Due to the authority given to the Priests by God the Demons must obey them and speak to the Priests. Time and again the Demons say how Mary is their greatest enemy because she was chosen by God. This is why Mary plays such an important role in the Catholic Church. This is also why in the Protestant Church Mary is downplayed and only seen as a mere human. This lack of veneration of Mary in the Protestant church plays right into the hands of Satan. Protestants are in rebellion to Gods authority which makes Satan very happy. They are also highly divided which also makes Satan very happy. I pray for the conversion of all Christians to Catholicism. God bless you ❤

Eve is the only woman who is previously mentioned in Genesis. However, the Protoevangelium (First Gospel) contains a prophetic segment that builds on what has already transpired and points to a future event. Since Genesis 3:15 is essentially a prophecy (the first Messianic prophecy), the promised Woman doesn't necessarily have to be the same female mentioned in the preceding context. She could be a future woman (Mary), just as her seed is a future male offspring (Jesus).

But why would we take "the woman" to be other than Eve. The words "the woman" are repeatedly used in the preceding verses to refer to Eve so why take them otherwise here. Mariolotry is leading it's practitioners to hell and they will have no excuse

    • @alexchristopher221
      @alexchristopher221 Před 2 lety +3

@@stephenglasse9756 First of all, Mariolatry is a senseless loaded term, and you are arguing from ignorance. It's like a Catholic accusing a fundamentalist Bible Christian of committing Bibliolatry by worshipping a dead book.
Second, if the woman is Eve, and God has promised to put enmity between her and Satan, He must have fulfilled this promise during her lifetime. But where in Genesis 4 does God fulfill His promise? Where does God restore friendship with Eve so as to no longer make her a hateful enemy (ebah) who has collaborated with Satan? The truth is, even according to ancient Jewish tradition, Eve remained estranged from God through sin until her death after she was banished from Eden with her husband Adam.
Now, if Eve is the woman, then in what sense is Jesus uniquely her offspring and not the offspring of any other woman who might come after her? Eve is "the mother of all the living" (Gen 3:20). So, it's hard to figure out how Jesus could claim an exclusive relationship to Eve that no other human being could also claim. All Eve can show is that Jesus is a sinful human being like the rest of us, not a sinless divine Person incarnate. But the Holy Spirit overshadowed the Virgin Mary (Lk 1:34-35). We read in Mark 6:3 that Jesus is "the son of Mary."
Anyway, what does Eve contribute to Jesus to make him uniquely her son? All of her offspring are by nature "children of wrath" (Eph 2:3). She gave her children a fallen human nature, but Jesus was sinless. If Jesus were in any way Eve's offspring, it would be before her fall from grace, at which time Adam simply referred to her as Woman just as Jesus called his most blessed mother "Woman" because she was full of lasting grace - a second Eve who never fell (cf. John 2:2-5; 19:26-27). Eve was a virgin before the fall and didn't have children until after Adam had sinned (Gen 4:1). Her first child was the murderer Cain. Mary remained a virgin all her life (Lk 1:34) because she gave birth to the new Adam and never fell from grace (Lk 1:28). Elizabeth declared to Mary: "Most blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb" (Lk 1:42). In all the following Messianic prophecies, the woman is Mary (Isa 7:14; 66:7; Micah 5:2-3; Jer 31:22). Genesis 3:15 is the first Messianic prophecy, so the woman is placed in the far distant future.
Sorry, there was no enmity put between Satan and Eve. Mary is the Woman which Jesus himself has affirmed at the wedding feast in Cana and from the Cross. The Woman in Genesis was called Eve after she fell from grace. Mary became Eve's advocate. I suggest you study the early Church Fathers on this topic.

      (1) if a fundamentalist Christian was bowing down to the Bible and prostrating themselves before it and talking to it then I would accuse them of being guilty of bibliolatry.
      (2) in my opinion you're making a mistake of demanding an example of where Eve is at enmity with the devil. This is wrongheaded. Rather since in all the preceding verses "the woman" is repeatedly and only used of Eve it's the RC who has to justify why v15 doesn't refer to Eve!
      (3) I'm not utterly hostile to this being a prophecy about Mary rather my objection was to Pints with Aquinas advocating 'devotion to Mary' which can't be justified here or elsewhere

    • @alexchristopher221
      @alexchristopher221 Před 2 lety +1

@@stephenglasse9756 (1 & 3) Fundamentalist Christians commit "bibliolatry" by equating the Bible with the Divine Logos. They claim that the Bible is the "Word of God" whereas it's actually the written "word of God." This explains why they have elevated the Bible above the Church, which was established by Christ, as its head and the supreme rule of faith. But the truth is, Jesus Christ is the Head and cornerstone of His Church - not the Bible - and he is the living Word of God who constantly guides the Church in all truth through the Holy Spirit until his return (cf. Jn 14:16; 16:12-13). The Church (founded on Peter the rock and the apostles) is the final rule of faith and teaching authority under Christ and his magisterium. Paul affirms that the Church (not the Bible) is "the pillar and foundation of the truth" (1 Tim 3:15). Fundamentalists idolize the Bible and have made it out to be some kind of religious icon. They may not be physically bowing to it, but they regard and treat it in a way that resembles bowing.
Catholics who are strongly devoted to the Blessed Virgin Mary do bow or even prostrate themselves to an image of her, but not as an act of worship. Rather their acts are expressions of honor and veneration because of her participation in the hypostatic order of Christ's incarnation and her moral participation in the objective redemption without which we could not be saved according to God's plan and on His terms. If Mary hadn't pronounced her Fiat at the Annunciation, the Incarnation wouldn't have happened by default. Likewise, if Eve hadn't succumbed to the serpent's suggestion, Adam wouldn't have fallen from grace. Human liberty is a key moral component in the fall and redemption of humanity in which Woman has played a pivotal role.
Since the first century, beginning in Palestine, before the NT books were even written, Catholics have traditionally honored Mary as their Queen Mother (Gebirah), and Mother of the Church, and have even venerated her as the New Ark of the Covenant. All these designations have ancient Jewish roots - not pagan roots. When the Ark of the Covenant was carried in procession by the Levite priests, the Jews bowed to it and prostrated themselves before it (Joshua 7, 6). There was also singing and dancing with the accompaniment of musical instruments. Were they worshipping the Ark? Of course, not. The Ark of the Covenant was highly venerated because of its sacred association with the physical manifestation of God's presence on earth in the form of the glory cloud (Shekinah) and the dispensation of God's grace through it. Mary is associated with the Incarnation of God in the person of Jesus Christ by having conceived and borne him by the power of the Holy Spirit who overshadowed her just as the Spirit of God overshadowed the ancient Ark. Mary is no ordinary woman in the economy of salvation and deserves to be honored and venerated as God’s handiwork of grace (Luke 1:46-49). If she is just an ordinary woman and a common sinner, who God used as a baby making device, as Fundamentalists presumptuously claim, then Jesus was just an ordinary man whose father was Joseph.
Gary G. Michuta (Making Sense of Mary: Grotto Press) cites Zechariah 2:10 to connect the verse with John 1:14. In the prophecy, God says, "I am coming to dwell among you." The author informs us that the Greek word for "dwell" is 'kataskenoso', whose root word for "tent" or "tabernacle" is 'skene', viz., the portable tent or tabernacle that housed the Ark of the Covenant before Solomon built the Temple. In the Gospel of John (1:14), the Greek word for "dwelt" is 'eskenosen' which is derived from the same root word 'skene'. So, the evangelist is literally saying, "The Word became flesh and 'tabernacled' among us." This occurred when Mary was overshadowed by the Holy Spirit and conceived our Lord.

I’m truly trying to understand the argument here so please correct me if I’m wrong here, but Deacon Harold’s explanation seems LOADED with falsehoods.
    1) At 2:10 Argues that if the punishment involves both the snake & women , why is God only talking to the snake.
That’s not what occurs in Genesis 3 though , in Gen 3 God lays out punishments for the snake, Eve, and Adam respectively.
In Genesis 3:14-15 God is specifically focusing on the serpent’s punishment.
If the claim is that because he doesn’t mention the woman, therefore it’s not Eve he’s talking about, it’s Mary, then by that logic, when God speaks to Eve directly in Genesis 3:16 and mentions her husband despite not speaking to Adam directly therefore God isn’t speaking about Adam.
It seems like faulty logic. Also wouldn’t then the punishment in Genesis 3:16 also apply to Mary by his logic?
Quoting from the revised Catholic translation: “To the woman he said,
    “I will greatly multiply your pain in childbearing;
in pain you shall bring forth children,”
    2) At 3:09 Deacon Harold argues that because God refers to Adam’s wife as “Woman” that somehow this is significant for Eve, however if we read 3 verses onward we know exactly why, it is only after God issues out their punishments, that Adam them names his wife “Eve”.
Genesis 3:20 “20 The man called his wife’s name Eve,[b] because she was the mother of all living.”
    3) At 4:59 he argues that because it uses the word “seed” it must be referring to Mary.
But we cannot take “seed” as literal semen breeded offspring every single time when it’s used in the bible
For example, in Isaiah 53:10 it says “He shall he see his SEED” when referring to the Messiah which we Christians obviously believe is Jesus.
Jesus obviously didn’t have kids though, so if the word is being used literally, we would have a problem. However “seed” does not have to be literal all the time, likewise when God is mentioned “your seed” he’s not literally referring to the woman’s kids produced by her semen.
But rather just Eve’s descendants in general.
Lastly small tangent but Deacon Harold mentions Rev 12 is about Mary. Assuming he’s correct, would that mean Mary contrary to Catholic belief did not have a painless death, and thus still have the original sin in her?
Because Revelation 12 says that the woman who gave birth had birth pains , Revelation 12:2
[2] She was pregnant and *was crying out in birth pains* and the agony of giving birth.
Saying this chapter is specifically about Mary contradicts Catholic doctrine.
It seems that a lot of Deacon Harold’s arguments are based on Catholic pre-assumptions.
    Again not attacking, just genuinely.

The Hebrew word הָאִשָּׁה (ha-ishah)-“the woman”-occurs nine times in Genesis 3.1 It is doubtful that the occurrence in Genesis 3:15 refers to someone other than the referent of the other occurrences in the same chapter. What are the referents? - Eve. That is the simple sense.

The "He" is Jesus, of course. The Latin Vulgate rendered it "she" implying that it was Mary, but this was exegesis in the interests of dogma. It is not the woman who conquers but her seed.

You people need to read " mystical city of God....Mary of Agreda ......the whole " Mary " issue will be resolved .....
After God made Adam He made Eve but hid how He created her from lucifer ....then God showed the whole of heaven a vision of a human being . ... A female creature " Mary " and told them that He will be born through that woman and become human and live among men ......but most telling of all is that He told the angels that she will be in charge of them .....that is why Lucifer rebelled against God .....( Because he didn't want to be under a mere human) ....now ....things get interesting ......this is why he tempted Eve and not Adam .....because he thought Eve was the " Mary "

Why should Satan hate or fear Mariam??? She is just like anyone of us. She was not anointed, for any ministry.
She is also nothing like Eve who caused the downfall of mankind. But these Catholics are making her, to be Eve causing the hinderance of the works of the Almighty One through His anointed one, His Messiah!!!
We are told to LOOK to the Messiah, for he is the only DOOR to redemption and salvation... He is the door to the Father!!! Everyone who want to get to the Father, has to go through him, his appointed authority as second Adam, over the world and mankind. We call that "protocol".
He is the high priest!!! The mediator!!! AND THERE IS NO ONE ELSE!!! He judges by the Spirit of the Almighty One!!! NOT BY HIS MOTHER, who was only a mere mortal like the other saints!!! WE ARE SAINTS TOO!!!
All who follow and accept the covenant that's in the Messiah are SAINTS too!!! Even THIS the Catholic church is ignorant about!!! Man has no authority or power to make anyone saints!!! That authority only belongs to the Spirit of the Almighty One, Who causes the second spiritual rebirth of life in us!!! Making all believers saints!!!
Mariam is NOT THE MOTHER OF GOD!!! Nor is she the wife ... of the Almighty One or of His Spirit!!!
Do you idiots think God will allow her to commit adultery, by marrying Joseph???
Are you fools insinuating that she had committed adultery by later marrying Joseph and have children with him!!!????
She is ONLY A VASSAL to bringing forth the son of the Almighty One ... the second Adam into this world. She is the only link to the throne of David, the covenant of Abraham and to Israel as required by LAW!!!
She is the mother of the man Messiah!!! The Messiah was man just as first Adam was, relaying on the Spirit of the Father for everything!!! He could do nothing of himself!!! He is the second Adam ... and will becoming back to claim his birthright over the whole earth and mankind as second Adam!!!
HE IS A MAN!!! AND THAT'S ACCORDING TO LAW!!! Not by the silly blind emotions of men and their canal laws.
When the Almighty One creates a part of Himself to be a man, that person is MAN!!! Or are you Catholics and Christians calling the Almighty One a liar???!! LOOKS LIKE YOU ARE!!! Do you people know more then the Almighty One???!!!!
Will you foolish people still call that "bread" ... stone!!?? After the Almighty One had just changed that stone into bread!!! You are all blinded fools!!! Satan have blinded you, just as he did to Paul!!! He made you all into fools!!!
You don't even understand John 1:1!!! But you think you do... You see and understand only with canal emotional eyes, not understanding the spiritual laws behind this!!!
That "WOMAN" is the church ... Israel is that church ... the bride of the Messiah!!!
It's all a metaphor "SYMBOLIC" AND NOT TO BE TAKEN LITERALLY!!!
That woman the Catholic made up to be Mariam ... is actually an adoption from a pagan goddess, carrying her child. She comes with many names depending which pagan nation she came from.
In actuality that woman is Israel!!! With the 12 tribes, those stars that made up the whole of Israel.
Israel is liken a wife who committed adultery!!! And was judged for it!!!
    *READ Jeremiah 2:23-5:19*
Catholicism is no different from that woman too in her sins!!!
Islam is closest to that woman, sitting on a scarlet beast that was covered with blasphemous names and had seven heads and ten horns. The woman was dressed in purple and scarlet, and was glittering with gold, precious stones and pearls. She held a golden cup in her hand, filled with abominable things and the filth of her adulteries.
"Your seed and her seed..." ... is a mistranslation!!! Gender confusion probably!!! Women can NEVER produce SEEDS!!! The proper translation is "Offspring"!!!
That seed in Mariam's womb was from the Spirit of the Almighty One!!! That's how he became the "FATHER" of that son, Messiah!!!
This is to fulfill the law in helping women, to be EXONERATED ... for woman was instrumental in causing the downfall of man spiritually ...
BUT through Mariam a woman, was used as a vassal to bring forth the second Adam into this world through birth ... who then later made redemption and salvation possible to all mankind, ... for us to be born again spiritually.
She contributed like the many other saints, according to the plan of the Almighty One. We are all created and used by the Almighty One according to HIS APPOINTMENT FOR US in our lives.
This also applies to the Messiah the temple of flesh belonging to the Spirit of the Almighty One, the Word Who became flesh through him.
In Asia Mariam is worshiped, by the Catholics!!! ... They kiss her statue feet, hang flowers around her idol. Bow to the idol, Place candles before her statue. ... All as the pagans do. Even making vows to her, as the pagans do!!! Because I was one of them, in my teenage years. In the Western countries they still light candles don't they? Place incense before it?!!
Everyone, from Adam to Abraham to the Messiah and the Apostles, including you and me ... all have our roles and contributions to this Salvation plan of the Almighty One too ... especially to the whole earth and the future generations to come!!! It's a domino effect!!!
This all started with Abraham ... who made a very great sacrifice to be separated from the world of paganism!!!
It was because of him ... this promise for salvation was made possible, a covenant made through him and the Almighty One ... Why is he not mentioned by you Catholics?? Why was not Joseph mentioned too, since he took care for both Mariam and their child!???
You use Mariam's asking for help regarding the wine in the wedding feast ... How about the centurion asking for the healing of his servant??? How about those who petitioned their pleas to the Messiah, ... Didn't he also listen to their request and answered them??? Probably you Catholics should also go ask them to pray for you too!!!
*YOUR RELATIONSHIP IS WITH THE SPIRIT OF THE ALMIGHTY ONE ONLY!!!* And through no one else. It's a private matter!!!
ALL BELIEVERS ARE TO HAVE A PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH HIM!!! ITS BETWEEN YOU AND HIM PERSONALLY!!! That's where your spiritual confidence and strength is built from!!! That were your relationship beings with Him.
HE IS EMANUEL!!! He is God with us TODAY!!! This very moment... while you are still reading this, and days to come!!!
NO WHERE IN THE SCRIPTURES OR GOSPEL INSTRUCT YOU TO LOOK TO ANY OTHER MAN OR WOMAN!!! But only to the Spirit of the Almighty One or Father ... which is made possible only through the authority of the son, our king and His high priest!!!
Yes, only those living on earth can pray for each other ... this is scriptural!!!
How about the rosary??? Where did that come from??? Paganistic adoption!!! Pagans already had it much earlier ... Hindus also practice this long before Catholicism!!! So does the Buddhist. Now even Islam adopted this ritual!!!
How about the torment and agony the Messiah bared on his body and soul, ... that ACTUALLY PAID that price on that wicked cruel cross for our Redemption and Salvation!!!
Who paid that price in giving His SINLESS AND ONLY BELOVED AND BEGOTTEN as the lamb of God???!!! THE FATHER DID!!!
    HOW ABOUT THE FATHER'S PAIN?!!!
As a mother of cause it was painful seen her eldest son going through such ordeal!!! Even today we see the same thing of other mothers around the world seeing their children bring killed.
How about the siblings of the Messiah himself??? How do you think they were feeling ... How about all those that really loved the Messiah who witnessed the whole ordeal, and even would give up their lives for him ... but could not?!!!
If Joseph was alive, how would he feel??? Only Mariam was given that word from a prophet, because only she would witness this, and not her husband!!!
What loads of bullcrap!!! Adopted son of God??!! Who was the adopted son here??? The Messiah??? Bull!!!
The Messiah is the actual true son of the Father!!! WE are true children of the Almighty One too .. through that mercy of the Almighty One ... NO ONE IS ADOPTED HERE!!! We are made into sons and daughters!!! We are the redeemed ones!!! Not adopted one!!!
Catholics are in true oblivious confusion and gullibility ... They know NOT the existence of the law of the scriptures we must all go by, in obedience to the Almighty One. This is not like children play a make believe church.

Mary was the mother of God and mother of the Church. Jesus asks his disciples to pray for him, how can Jesus ask such " crazy catholic dogma"? Because it is true. Our Blessed Mother, at a very young age, is not only a daughter of The Most High. She is the spouse of The Holy Ghost, and the mother of GOD. She has a unique relationship with The Most Holy Trinity that no other human being has. Catholics need to pray for our heretic Protestant brothers and sisters. Catholics need to pray that they realize their heresies and return back to mother church. How can a person consider themselves a Christian when they deny “ The Actual Presence?” A person believing Jesus id GOD. He dies for our sins, and resurrected under his own power is not enough. It is a good start, but if a person does not believe in Christ’s body and blood they are not a Christian. It is sad. I hear there are 70, maybe 80% of Catholics who do not believe in “ The Actual Presence.” There are sacrileges committed at every Holy Mass by priests and lay. Source ''Truth Time Radio''.
Like many "Christians" today, Satan believes Jesus died on the cross, but not for HIS sins. He believes Jesus has risen, but not for HIS eternal life.
Satan believes the event of the cross but never put his trust in Christ's finished work for salvation.
Salvation is not: Believing there is a God. (Satan believes that)
Salvation is not: Believing Christ was the Messiah. (Satan believes that)
Salvation is not even... Believing Christ died, was buried and rose the third day. (Satan believes that also)
Salvation is: Believing Christ died for YOUR EVERY SIN and trusting that He rose to give you eternal life IN HIM!
Something Satan and most Christians want no part of because of their PRIDE!
If denominationalists truly believed Christ forgave their sins, they wouldn't spend so much time trying to GET them forgiven.
One tells you to pray for forgiveness.
One tells you to confess for forgiveness.
One tells you to believe for forgiveness.
One tells you to repent for forgiveness.
One tells you to be baptized for forgiveness.
And keep in mind, all of these folk with a straight face will tell you Christ DIED for your sins. Welcome to Nutsville!!! I think Dorothy got lost on the yellow brick road.
Today I unapologetically proclaim that there is only one way to be saved, and it has nothing to do with getting your sins forgiven. Salvations through FAITH. (Ephesians 2:8-9) Without faith it is impossible to please God.
Salvation comes to those who are ready to give up on THEIR performance and rest their faith in JESUS' performance.
The path to salvation is narrow. SO narrow that nothing you do will fit.
Satan will never be saved for the same reason he was kicked out of heaven. P-R-I-D-E. (Isaiah 14:12-14)
Read carefully and count how many times he says "I".
How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.
    Satan is obviously a Narcissist!
Like a vain person in front of the mirror, five times in only three verses he boasts of himself. Pride keeps Satan from being saved as it does most of the world. They have fallen victim to SELFIANITY and are incapable of letting go and letting God. Incapable of taking their filthy hands off their salvation and allowing God to save them by HIS finished work!
If you say --- "I said a prayer for forgiveness." "I confessed for forgiveness." "I believed for forgiveness." "I repented for forgiveness." "I was baptized for forgiveness."
Then sadly you have fallen for the five I's just like Satan.
Salvation is not getting your sins forgiven, it's believing they already ARE!
To be saved, you must first get "I" out of the way.
You only get two educations, the one you're given and the one you give yourself!

The devil hates mankind because we are made in God's image and God choose to redeem mankind. Mary's only special purpose was to birth Jesus into the world but she had no other special purpose than that. In the Scriptures, Jesus doesn't even refer to her as mother. He refers to her as Woman. He gave NO special privileges to his family because it's not about Mary, it's about what HE FINISHED ON THE CROSS For Us. Any veneration or elevation of this woman is a form of Idolatry and Idolaters will NOT enter the kingdom of heaven.
    Luke 11:27-29
27 As Jesus was saying these things, a woman in the crowd called out, “Blessed is the mother who gave you birth and nursed you.”
28 He replied, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it.”
