I appreciate that stephen was able to get a much more accurate understanding than what people typically piece together from looking into kabbalah. However, there are many inaccuracies here that are not trivial. G-d is not the ein sof, G-d is not lacking feeling in kabbalah, creation is real and its not g-d. A couple of orthodox jews exist that have doubts about the zohar or sections of the zohar, but the vast majority accept it as authoritative. Yes, the zohar is the chief work of jewish kabbalah although there are other accepted works. Zohar is very easy to misunderstand even amongst generally knowledgable jews. Dont trust you have properly understood it until you confirm your understanding with a few proper rabbinic references. The talmud is also constantly misunderstood and misquoted, as is its place in the evolution of law and how jews view it. You can say you understand it all you want but if every jew who knows how to read it in the original says you arent understanding it right, its only someone with an axe to grind that is going to ignore every plea to have some humility and try to see how learned jews understand it (and yes im aware you can find some random rabbis saying things, but you can find random christians saying things too, just because they have a youtube video doesnt mean they are representative or know what the heck they are saying. As far as i'm considered everyone is smart enough to know that, and yet many refuse to accept it so as to use these types of jews as support for more hatred). Properly look into the matter or stop talking. It's so interesting that catholics have a very studious tradition and yet as soon as the talmud comes up proper inquiry goes out the window and first impressions are final. What worked for me is thinking about God seeing what I'm doing while I'm doing it and how embarrassing it will be to see me doing it when it gets played back when my life is in review. I would rather quit than to think about giving an account of it and having to see myself do that with someone else watching me and asking me why... I quit. God sees it all anyway. But I would rather stop than to just continue knowing it's wrong and allowing my conscience to become seared like a McDonalds hamburger.

In most cases you can not scare yourself away from addiction because all it does is make you run back to that same addiction, because the reality is your porn use, exists because there is something in your life like anxiety or stress for instance that you use to self soothe, to have a break from. you watch porn to climax for that 1 second were literally nothing else matters, to get that break from the stress of life. The only problem with watching porn is that, the stress is still there afterwards and usually it's worse because instead of tackeling the problem you instead spent the hour just jacking off. Sarah Brewer goes in great detail about how to stop viewing porn, and my god has it changed my life, and i really hope it can do the same for you. the podcast is free, and she does offer paid coaching lessons. personally i did not need them and just listened to her podcasts and put that into practice.
