Ovince Saint Preux’s Von Flue choke also deserves some love.
Yeah when i saw title i thought that would definitely be included in this is, especially considering how hard it is to do successfully
The osp Choke now he has more than von fluke
Good shout
I was gonna add this comment and was glad to see yours with several likes.
I was really surprised it didn't make the list.
Let me guess #1 Signature move :
Al Iaquinta closing a house sale
:*) never gets old
I imagine Al Iaquinta's sales tactics are very high pressure. His clients crumble under his control of the sale.
What is this meme of al laquinta I keep seeing was he an mma fighter now he’s a realtor?
@@levelup2014 hes a licensed real estate agent, idk either but it probably has something to do with how inactive he is
Robbed Jon Jones of a spot, his eye pokes are the stuff of legend
Another casual. Does Jon Jones won every fight by eye pokes? What a stupid assessment
@@thedon7256 it's a joke chill out
@@thedon7256 whoosh
That's because Leon Edwards is doing it now lmao
my man jones will come back with some good old eye pokes soon
I think it’s safe to say Chris Weidman is the only fighter in MMA history to have both won and lost a fight due to a leg break
He might make the #1 and #2 slot of "Top 10 grossest MMA wins."
Oof x 1000.
It really is ironic that won and lost off a checked low kick, shattered the exact same way.
I’m sure there’s guys out there in lower level promotions who have.
@@TheMrprobadass With that fracture? Don't know man. I hope not can't even imagine how much a treatment and rehabilitation for that costs.
Calling it now.
1# Ben Askren's *LEGENDARY* Spinning Backfist
Askew landed a nasty quadruple jab on Maia that was arguably more dangerous
@@thebruh4589 ASKEW! LOL
The spinning of shonie carter in serra is more memorable
Cro Cops kicks are even more impressive considering he’s a 6’2 240 lb monster of a man and you wouldn’t think someone of that size can sling their body around like that
And yet small for that division in terms of size
He was juicing, so but did get busted by usada later in his career
@@xftbllplyr2091 no, he got busted taking humam growth hormome for a shoulder injury, admitted it outright to them when taking the sample, and they found nothing in his drug results due to it being such a low amount.
His suspension was dropped.
@@DUxMORTEM it wasn’t dropped he had an explanation. Go to the usada site and look it up
Croatian Batman
I'm surprised the von flu choke did not make it literally named after my man
And OSP polarised it so yeah you're right
He only did it once or twice though, OSP on the other hand should’ve gotten it. He has 6 I think.
hahah true, maybe on the second list :)
OSP was literally the first person I thought about when I saw the title
That was the first fighter that came to mind, OSP with the Von Flue (or shall we call it the Von Preux) choke
I once met faber entirely by chance, I accidentally parked my bike in his chin...
How did you managed to get it off?
Y'all forgot a couple:
Jon Jones Fingerpokes of Doom
Chael Sonnen 's Verbal Machine Gun
Joe Son's Testicle Punches
The Stockton Slap
You forgot that Joe Son was the one getting punched in the testicles, the guy doing the punching was Keith Hackney.
@@thesewerrat4895 I was thinking the same thing man, like don't give Joe son any credit fuck that guy
@@thesewerrat4895 I keep forgetting that. I just assume Joe Son getting sacked hahaha
@SEMTEX J I don't know who the fuck that is, but what did he do to get into prison?
😂
Jeremy Stephens pushing his opponents should be in the list.
Whoo da fuq is dat
@@DaSasquatch23 that joke is like conors career, pretty much dead lol, time to move on
When he pushes people they don’t fucking move
lol true
Lmao
What about Chael Sonnen and Triangle Chokes, he has 4 finishes with that technique
You're a chad for this 😎😎😎
Never lost a round
4 triangles and a toe snap our unc Chael
I think Cro Cops headkick should be ranked above Conors left hand imo
I agree.
Completely agree.
Absolutely
They're probably just looking for a shout from Connor. Like they didn't even name a technique just left hand
@@tones9_6 I don’t think so, it did say known finishing signatures and Conor’s left is undoubtedly most known.
Don't forget James Vick's signature move of not just getting knocked out, but picking the round
Dude has some of the worst luck ever.
@@unquietgrave4444 it was hard watching his last fight
No way McNuggets left hand is better then Cro Cops left high
Gotta please the casuals.
@@hardnewstakenharder “please the casuals” is the general mission statement of this entire channel.
I remember when this channel was more about analyzing technique than churning out inaccurate listicles
@@DarranKern you think an opinion is inaccurate?
actually it is. Cro Cop's left high kick was proven a joke when got KTFOd by Gabriel Gonzaga 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Nganou's Signature Finishing Move: Punch
"Move fist forward". Done.
his hammer fist is becoming iconic imo
Ford escort coming at ya
Well, when you have 50 pound anvils for fists...
OSP with the Von Flue choke, and tony Ferguson's D'Arce Choke i think should be there too.
Believe it or not. Tony almost had a submission against Charles while on his back. He had a Darce set up that nobody saw coming. He had it set up but just made 1 mistake and lost it
Agreed, I was looking for them
Charlie Olives' style isn't really defensive though. He is all attack which is why he is so exciting but also why he has gotten submitted a couple times.
Tony only has 3 finishes via D'Arce. It's still impressive, hell, it's even a record. But everyone else on the list has more, and I think it needs like 4-6 to truly be a "signature."
Ferguson lost to an albino named Jamie Toney (nicknamed ghost)
I think Rampage Jackson's slam is an honorable mention
How many guys has he finished using the slam though. I can only think of Arona.
POWERBOMB~!
@@russell2890 2
They said UFC not Pride
stockton slap too?
I thought this was a serious channel, but you've proven you're not by leaving out Derrick Lewis Switch Kick.
I would like to check out your channel. Drop us a link
@@muemamuema8020 r/woosh
What ? An all American throwing a switch lock ? LOL good one
That one will be on mma on point extras channel, it's not a finishing move
I thought Lewis was known for his heel hooks?
Cro Cop still got one of the most badass quotes in history
Right leg hospital left leg cemetery👌
Agreed! My other favorite is this one: "Vovchanchyn said that growing up, he caused trouble and got into street fights and different kinds of mischief. Due to his antics, there was a popular story in circulation, that whenever Igor became upset, the villagers would ring a bell in the center of town which would alarm everyone to stay in their houses until Igor calmed down." - Igor Vovchanchyn
"Emelianenko Fedor, you are next"
"Nobody could take that left-hand shot" apart from that old man in the bar.
“Right leg hospital left leg cemetary” Prime Cro Cop could have beaten anyone. Shame we never got the Fedor rematch
I'm not sure he could have beaten Randy Couture in the cage though.
@@madgavin7568 With how Machida KO’d Couture I bet he could have done something similar.
@@Monterey96 Different styles; Karate vs Taekwondo. In addition Cro Cop was a plodding striker with serviceable fight IQ. Whereas Machida was an elusive striker with high fight IQ.
Against an opponent who doesn't move very much, that opens them up for takedowns and clinching; both areas Randy excelled at and Randy can takedown any man of that era.
A prime Machida was always going to be a harder opponent for Randy than a prime Cro Cop. Although by that stage Randy had declined.
@@madgavin7568 no, machida lost twice to Shogun. No chance Cro Cop loses to Shogun
@@rexinfx1 I wouldn't say 'no chance'. We've seen crazier things in MMA, Cro Cop never had the best fight IQ or chin, though he had good game-planning.
Considering he got KO'd by Kevin Randleman (natural 205'er by todays standards), there is every chance a prime Shogun could KO him too especially since Shogun does have heavy hands and kicks for a Light-Heavyweight. Though Cro Cop would be the favourite to win for obvious reasons.
Styles make fights, Shogun's style was a tough matchup for Machida as he wasn't afraid of Machida's counter-striking.
Number one: Jon Jones' eye poke
Casual much... So are you saying Jones wins every fight by eyepokes? You are a casual
@@thedon7256 *whoosh*
@@thedon7256 r/Woooooooosh
Don't worry man, we got the joke 😂
He has never finished anyone with eye pokes, they are never too serious 🤔
JBJ and Eye pokes. Most iconic duo ever.
He is 4th now.
DC,Gaethje and Edwards have improved that technique
OSP's Von Flue choke should have been on the list but still a good list.
Agreed, not sure how they missed the Von Preux choke.
I can tell this is a hardcore comment thread with osp recognition
I Conor was dropped from the list, they could have found a place for OSP...
OSP should be first on this list!
Before starting this video:
Cro Cops left high kick
Conors left hand
Rondas armbar
Hendos H Bomb
Olyneicks ezickiel choke
HUGE
That (edited) making this look kinda sus
Nice lol
Legend has it Bisping's eye is still circulating in Pluto's atmosphere via that H-Bomb.
LOLL
As a long-time Bisping's fan, I probably shouldn't be laughing at this comment so hard 😆 Also, his eye was actually launched into space by Belfort's left leg - not by Hendo's H-bomb.
I believe it was TRTitor AKA Vitor Belfort that sent that organ to the stars.
Fake news. That isn't how he lost it.
Acting your way out to win is the best unique finishing move in 2021.
LMAO!!!!!
Wiping your ass bare handed is a close 2nd.
@@thinkinghmmmm Talking about someone's else butt is creepy.
It's not unique anymore. Dropping like male Footballers is the new hotness in MMA.
happens a lot nowadays :P starting to look like football
I like how when talking about Faber says how there havent been many fighters who've been known for specific submission then continued to make a list comprised mostly of fighters know for a specific submission.
Mark Hunts walk away knockout.
The fact that OSP isn’t on this list completely discredits it.
Masakazu Imanari would have been a good shout for leglocks, the guy's got almost twice as many leglock wins compared to Palhares
I agree, He literally has a roll named after him.
And Palhares doesn't deserve mentions..
Journeyman fighter Jonathan Ivey has the same amount of leg locks as Palhares
I’m a big fan of the Tony Ferguson “Throw Sand” technique.
That’s a dangerous one. Should be banned.
And also the ankle pick.
That’s illegal
Pocket sand
"Finishing move"
10 most chilling signature walkouts. Khabib to that Dagestan song, Conor to Foggy Dew, Jones to the Champ is Here to name a few
BJ Penn walking out to the Hawaii'n Anthem.
Fedor's walkout songs; Enae Polare Mezzo and Oy, to ne Vecher.
They kinda already did that with the top "Intense walkouts to epic fights"
Aldo run this town
Faber Cali love
Conor el chapo and hypnotise (with foggy dew)
Edgar kick in the door
Chad mendes with that live entrance at 189 was class too
OSP with the Von Flue choke should be on here
I swear getting a bodyshot from bas rutten is the scariest scenario ever
See the video where he ruptures a (pig) spleen with one kick.
Edwards’ finger tips 🔥
Edward scissor hands
Sorry but thats not funny at all...:) He did literally one hard eye poke and ppl crying about it weeks after
@@T3rng4r especially when he threw a punch too
#1 Fedor's Casting punch #2 Nogueira's triangle #3 Mirko.....just the opinion of an old man that loved the Pride days more than the Jon EyePoke Jones days. Great video man
Chaels take down in flip flops. Unstoppable
Fuckin amateur
He couldn't let him get close :(
STOP! I CAN’T LET YOU GET CLOSE!
wannanow?
Thank you for including El Guapo himself, the great Bas Rutten in this list. (Although, I would have ranked it higher) 👊
Best nickname in MMA.
@@russell2890 - Best name on CZcams 👍, well done, sir!
@@BatCaveOz I love me some Bas Rutten.
If bas's liver shot isnt on here imma be pissed
😎
Do you guys remember Andy Hug's axe kick in Pride ?
Or the Hug Tornado!
I think he only fought in K1, but hell yeah
That clip of Ronda shadow boxing gets me everytime 😂
I know it’s not a finishing move but the Stockton Slap deserved an honorable mention.
Conors Left Hand?!?
I was thinking more of *Left Hook Larry* 💪🏾
if only Connors hands two more fingers, he could call his right-left combo, "The proper twelve"
If he used his elbows, it would have worked
Can’t believe y’all put conors left over cro cops left high kick
When I think of knockout I go straight to connor’s over aldo so I agree with the list crocop I feel like was more hype than killer while Connor’s had both
@@willppp crocop has more knockouts with his high kick than connor has with his left hand, by a longshot too. You can count on one hand the people who have taken ONE left high kick and not gone straight unconscious, connors left isnt a garunteed fight ender like cro cops head kick
Great video; and well-made. Really appreciate you giving credit for the videos at the beginning. 👍🏾
I'm glad that you were able to oversee that some of these Fighters were popular anymore and give them the credit they deserve
Why is luke rockhold getting knocked out devastatingly not on here?
Ronda Rousey: Move 1...ARMBAR~!
(Yes, Chris Jericho did the 1,004 holds) XD
Move number 307: ARMBAR!
Emil Meek knocking out Palhares is one of the most satisfying moments in MMA history
I've been waiting for this list ever since I subscribed ....
OSP and the Von Fleu?
Solid List. How about Amanda Nunez beating the f out of people
She has a signature move (right overhand) but only one finish by it against Cris Cyborg. She likes to beat her opponents at their own game, as evidenced by her submission finish against Miesha Tate and head-kick finish against Holly Holm.
@@madgavin7568 she should have taken ronda down and finish her with an armbar just for the lols. if the fight would be today she probably would.
@@uzrdutiutfiztdf3545 Too risky honestly. Even if Ronda's striking sucks, her grappling (especially her Judo) is world-class.
Ronda hasn't fought in over four years and wasted her talent training with her fraudulent yes-men of a coach. Today it would be a complete mismatch.
@@madgavin7568 ur right of course, that would not be an advisable strategy. but sometimes when u wann be a legend u have to do something borderline stupid. i think she could pull it off by first knocking her out on the feet and follow up with it when ronda is more or less out. just need to be quicker with the armbar then the ref with the stoppage.
@@uzrdutiutfiztdf3545 Ronda has a good chin, she's one of those fighters who when they get knocked out, they get *knocked out* if you know what I mean. If that didn't happen the ref would have stopped the fight whilst she's doing the chicken dance.
Sometimes you have to swallow your pride and accept the fact you can't beat everyone at their own game. Amanda can't do it to Ronda and she couldn't do it to Valentina or GDR either. That's not a knock on her as a fighter, its just the extent of her and her opponents abilities.
Upvoting for the compilation of liver shot KO's alone ;-) Brutal stuff
Love the Ezekiel choke, you can do it from almost anywhere and it's super easy
I was at the strike force when Hendo ko’d feijao for the title live. What a card. I’ll never forget that night
I think you guys really missed the mark by not incluinding Mark Hunt's "Walk Away Punch."
Fod you guys are good. Thank you for making videos x
Started Muay Thai/Kickboxing because of you big bro and guess who got their question mark kick now because of you?! Sheeeesh! Big fan all love
I'm not sure how mcgregors left hand is considered a signature move tbh.
So how are the other ones considered signature moves then? On top of that oh, nobody asked your opinion. Thankfully I'm here.
Cro Cops is just a kick aimed at the head. Why are so many casuals butthurt over this?
It's time to start calling Ezeikiel choke the Olienik choke, simole as that...
I call it the Olienik Choke already.
@@jahimuddin2306 Oleinik choke it is. That guy is truly a boa constrictor like his nickname
I feel like cro cop's left high kick gotta be stuff of legend, number 1. Legendary
I can remember watching hendo/sheilds and Hendon pretty much spent the entire time stood in the h bomb stance 😂 he made it way to obvious but people he touches with it go down or out
I was expecting tony ferguson’s darce choke😢
Surprised no osp von flue?
The H Bomb to Bisping in their first fight is legendary.
or in the Wanderlei Silva fight.
I like Baylien as the commentater for this channel more than all the other ones.
Can you do 10 fantasy fights we wish we could’ve seen.
Khabib GSP would be at the top of the list no doubt.
GSP vs Silva
Khabib vs Tony
Cejudo vs Ngannou
Struve vs dj
I’m guessing Cro Cop’s left kick, H-Bomb, and Damian’ RNC.
Edit three for three.
Omg the "Hi Japan!!! Oh shit he sunk the rear naked choke while I waved" in the beginning is my favorite. 🤣🤣🤣
Josh Fabia shredding at the end
If Stylebender gets one more Left Check Hook knockout I'd add him.. He finished Whittaker and Costa with that shot and it's so beautiful and unique the way he leans back while throwing it.
10 of the most underrated champions and contenders in the UFC today
Number 1 contender for an ass whooping by mma fighters is jake paul.
Well done!
Hope to see a part 2 one day - because there were a lot of them that I thought of but weren't on here, including but not limited to the Stockton Slap and the Showtime Kick.
Those aren't finishing moves though...
@@Bayliun ah, you're right - glossed over that word for some reason.
God I love Mirko so much
He's so cool
Ezekiel choke by Alexei Oleynik on the list?
I think your voice is my favorite on the channel!!! Sounds like a nature documentary almost lol
Palharas’ heel hooks and leg locks were dangerous especially since he never lets go after tapping 😂
this list was decent until you got to #1 . Popular maybe, not iconic AS a finisher, not a strict hallmark.
Good picks - Faber/Alpha male guillotine, Bas liver shots, Maia backpack+RNC, Rousey armbar, hendo H-bomb, treetrunk Palhares leglocks (picked all these pre-watch).
Left out - OSP choke (rename it off Von Flute), Mark Hunt walk off KO punch (more image lasting than McNugget), even Randy's half-guard G&P.
How about OSP?🤔🤔
St. Preux's Von Flue choke and Rampage Jackson's slams are pretty iconic too.
I like the three piece ending with the kick from Withakker
40 MINUTES AGO?!?! I feel like I showed up to church early
Top 10 Great UFC coaches in TUF
Paul Daley's left hook and osp von flue choke needs honourable mentions
I don't know whether its just me, but the backwards spinning kick is my favourite 'normal' move
What about Tony’s D’arce?
yup. always a threat against anyone. the moment Tony stunned you badly, you don't go for a takedown or else you'll find your self at the receiving end of a d'arce choke.
OSPs Von Preux choke and Tony Ferguson's D'arce are missing
Tony has only 2 darves and OSP 3 chokes, not really as many in comparison to the others
@@Bayliun sure enough, I guess it felt like more since he finished two opponents back to back with it.
10:53
I probably found the sight of a baby in an RNC way funnier than I should have lmao
"This is PROBABLY the one that broke his liver...", I lol'ed hard. Definitely adding this to favorite random quotes.
Putting McGregor's left hand in front of Mirko's left Leg is a sin. Shame!
Despiste that, I Love the channel. ✌
Anyone else struggle with this guys voice?
His delivery is very dramatic. It makes me think of Shakespeare. lol.
Yes I do, no ill-will towards the guy but I think i'm gonna stop watching when he's the one talking :(
He seems to have toned it down a little bit in the last two videos, but before that I used to skip all the vids with his voice. If they use his voice too much, I''ll unsubscribe.
Micro Cro Cop: Right kick hospital, left kick CEMENTERY.
the iconic PVZ facial git left outta this one
Conor Mcgregors left hand. Plus 50 damage against old men in pubs.
More like -50 since the old man seemed to just shake it off
Lol
Conor at number one is suspect.
Rouismar Palhares submitted Ivan salivary via an armbar set up from having Ivan's back not a heelhook or any leg attack.
Bayliun's voice is so relaxing.
