I just invested $500 into a wefunder campaign. What happens after the funding? How are funds distributed to investors? What are some good examples of return on investment you’ve seen?
Hey! Normally all the investor's money sits in an escrow account until the funding round closes. Then it's wired to the company to start using the funds and grow the business. You won't see any kind of a return on your money unless the company goes public or is acquired by another company. I have more videos on this on my channel.
