How could anyone compare today's players to this man? It's not only the numbers.....the style, the finesse, the excitement he caused, the clutch moments....come on man....let's just forget this debate.
Thank you what debate
@@ethiopia7104 don’t know 🤷🏿♂️
EXACTLY
Very debatable now adays my guy.. lebron is held by many that played in the jordan Era as better then jordan.
@@jeffreystevens3917😂No fucking chance in hell is LeBron better than MJ dude. Not now. Not ever. MJ will always be the greatest. It’s not even close. Kobe is 2nd.
Reaches the highest level of success in his sport after several seasons of failure....retires to mourn the tragic death of father at the tail end of his prime and plays baseball (a game completely unrelated to basketball) for 18 months...comes back, reinvents himself, and reclaims the championship...that's why he's the greatest...he's about overcoming obstacles whether it's opposing teams, personal adversity, or age...he always manage to do it and he makes you believe you can too....G.O.A.T.
Jordan is the most exciting player to watch
Thats true
People feel Jordan was born with talent completely failing to realize that this man spent THOUSANDS upon THOUSANDS of hours practicing, studying, training, and so on. He deserves every bit of his success.
Jason Gafar tell us something we dont know....sorry but what u sayin u should tell a 9 year old kid....like duhhhhhhhhh
cannot agree more
its still the talent...no matter how hard you practice but you don't have what it takes to be great then still nothing..just saying..GOAT
Absolutely! But lots of people work hard. The difference is he was born with talent and had the work ethic. Then you get this lol. Serial worker. Serial winner
@@platano3000x Nooo...he has to say to Lebrons fans....
It's like you watch this and then wonder how people compare Lebron to him.. His all around skills and killer instinct will never be matched
Simply the Greatest basketball player to ever live. The Pinnacle of Excellence.
+charles white Amen
+charles white i agree completely charles
as a scorer I agree.
and biggest coke head (and sulk)
+Keith Richards uhm, Coke head?
Jordan is in his own class as the greatest competitor in basketball in any era. Notice I said competitor, and not champion or basketball player. Many players can be denied. Jordan will never be denied. His drive to win is unparalleled in any sport. He gave us a showcase of excellence, that is rarely seen in a single athlete. That explodes on the field of competition in dominating fashion. This is what makes MJ the GOAT.
+Jan Loves Haruka 23 what do you do?
@Doctor Strangeグレース 優しい was he a softy like lbj?
Except baseball
Will Samson I couldn’t said it any better, right on right on🙌🏽
No seriously how can somebody be this fckn great🙈it seems like jordan is like 7 ft tall
That fadeaway is unbelievable- never seen anyone do it better
NJ Jbour the goat
No wonder 96 was Bulls best season. He dedicated it to his father. The #GOAT
Still get goose bumps after all these years. This game was very emotional. This guy was a Beast and very competitive.
ohhhhhhhhhhhh man so do i bro!!!!!!!!!
Jorge Perez i got choked up when he was crying as an athlete and basketball player he is the greatest ever and thats it just unbelievable.

Go supersonics!!!!
@@jackdavis8701 mayweather ran like a chicken
@@keithwarren1517 mayweather is a shit
Pippen...…..Best all around player.
Guarding Michael must have been a nightmare for Gary Payton. That agility is just on another level.
guarding Michael Jordan is not a one man job ;)
+BenMasterz23 yet MJ always did manage to find a way to score at least 25 points away and 35+ at home, right ?!?
Oh my goodness I dont no word to explain my sentiment gratitude lucky to have you guys done to me bring all the hip-hop celebratty make very special party for mei ❤ ❤ ❤ them so much
you have to be a young fella who never saw Mike play. Scoring, Defense, Rebounding, getting loose balls. Mike did it all and all never did it better than Jordan !!!!!
Dang man. I'm too young, so I didn't start watching the NBA til after Jordan was gone, but after watching this video, MJ seriously is not only the most talented guy on the floor but he outhustles everyone else too. Really cool to see that, you don't see a lot of guys diving on the floor after loose balls that have the talent level of Jordan in today's NBA. Definetely shows me he's the greatest of all time
+Mark Mccormick he was poetry in motion, the king of the NBA
You should watch poster time.
That opening promo by Bob Costas was epic.
The Bulls dominance in the 1995-96 season and playoffs was epic.
Greatest NBA player ever.
+Will Taylor ...
+Nate Cole lol
+Will Taylor NOPE JAVALE MCGEE
easily,,there isn't even a debate on who is the GOAT anymore,,lebron loses to many finals an he has to put a team together to even get there hahaha nobody will ever touch MJ
Chris Gauthier mj....great but no even top 4....how can he didnt win a ring for 7 years...bill russell 13 seasons 11 rings...mj plus kobe is bill russell...kareem abdul. ...6 rings...the most points in nba history....hang time...the master is elgin baylor...to me the greatest player ever...came up with everything..mj simply copied dr j...who he never bet..how can he be the goat..most records are not with him
I watched everyone of these games live 20 years ago. All kinds of memories coming back to me.
Shout out to technology. thanks
I saw MJ play in person when I was about 5 years old. I really wish I would have been old enough to appreciate his game. It is something else.
All this Greatness in 1 Person - MJ! #Legend
3 championshipsthe want to take it away from me that not going happen this guys last night's want bullies me he bullies him self I'm work very hard take it seriously its matter to me and him thats jealous hater against
This is when the nba was good.
The look on his face says it all. A picture of concentration. Always thinking, always scheming, never satisfied until the job is done.
a lot of people dont know that jordan last three championships he was up there in age..just to say that he was a freak of nature. hands up.. u got 2 say that he was the greatest..ultimate warrior who never gives up.
MJ. The greatest NBA player of all times.
Jordan was simply a skilled assassin
the dirk fade away was the shit
+Good Man it was good.. But not great. It's easy to get a fadeaway off when you're 7'1.. MJ was 6'6. The way he had to elevate to get it off and be that precise and effective was amazing
Good Man ....chill, dawgie. dirk was 17 when mike was doin this, chief.
I was lucky enough to attend a few Bulls home games when Jordan played, including Game 1 of this series. It was a great time to be a sports fan in Chicago.
Mj the real KING of basketball kobe very good but not close
gerardo quezada Lebron must be leagues away then if that’s the case
To the young people who never saw MJ. Jordan set the standard. He was the first true superstar - mega player if you will. Without him there would be no Lebron or Kobe. If Lebron had come before Jordan, people would still say Jordan is better.
*****
Yeah right, David Stern encouraged him to retire, do you have an idea how much the popularity of basketball has declined since MJ is gone. And I am not talking about the USA only. I live in germany and even though we had Dirk since 98/99, Basketball on TV has regressed from 3-7 times a week in 1996-98 to virtually ZERO a few years later and until today. David Stern is not stupid. 1998 NBA Finals = highest TV ratings ever for an NBA Finals series.
It's sad that people believe all these bullshit stories about MJ. They're only floating around to try to make players of today look better than they are.
"God, disguised as Michael Jordan" is a quote from Larry Bird
after MJ scored 49 in Game 1, and then 63 in Game 2 against Boston in the first round of the playoffs in 1986. Boston won these games, yes, but Larry owning MJ? You're kidding right?
***** You can't tell these people anything. They get all their info from ESPN specials. LOL!
*****
LMAO! Really? You try to make an argument about being humble, then insult people? HAHAHAHHA! You lose. LMAO!!!!
***** LMAO! Clearly shot over your head. Go back to your Lebron videos, dude. You just proved you're not worth debating with.
***** he did not leave because of gambling. There are plenty of very in depth books about the internal struggles the bulls were going threw during this era. He retired first because of his father's death and he felt he had nothing left to prove and achieve and he lost the drive to play basketball. Second retirement Michael said he would leave if Phil Jackson left. And there was to much animosity between Phil and the bulls management and they pushed him out . They knew this was going to happen well before the public did . So Michael left with him. You should learn to read instead of believing ridiculous rumors
That era and how physical it was that is what makes Jordan the greatest player ever! I don't ever see a another athlete being as finesse is that man he was born to play basketball by God
Crazy thing is Seattle was playing really good defense and he was still shooting right over them... No LeBron is not quick enough to stay with Mike on defense. People don't know his quick Mike's first step was...
Big Cizzle The Black Panther was his nickname
which is shown on the Jordan 13*s
J9rr4o9LLLPPojA
exactly
And this is the heart of a champion ! The most competitive and skilled athlete ever.
Hell yeah Michael Jordan man it felt good to watch his games on tv and cheer him on especially since the Chicago Bulls is in my birth state
No one like the best player ever.. #michaeljordan
hector cabus
His killer instinct is so vivid in this, something that a lot of players lack this day and age.
you can tell greatness when they make you think playing basketball is that easy... MJ always picks his spots on the floor... nothing is being forced... and the BULLS AS A WHOLE...wonderful to watch...
yo that terminator music lol
MJ G.O.A.T!
Ran the table with a 72-10 regular season, 15-3 postseason. MJ Scottie Rodman kukoc and Phil. No contest
that behind the back that jordan did and scored............ me my mom and brother jumped off the sofa.
bigben1986 ....yeah i know the play you mean. When he catches a long pass & goes behind the back in one motion at midcourt to finish off with driving layup. That.....was freakish.
I remember this time, i was 13 and an amateur runner when this went down. I trained 7 days the week, and also went running every day before school. In the evening i wore my bulls jacket and if i found time i'd also threw a few baskets. MJ was such a legend to look up to, he inspired so many people, even 13 year old kids from across the great ocean. Where is his like these days?
I said Michael Jordan was like the Terminator you hear that music playin🙌🏽🐐🐐
I love Michael Jordan. I think that he is the world's greatest. athlete
Once in a lifetime athlete.
I grew up 15 minutes from the United Center, MJ and the Bulls made my childhood memorable
Dude had to win 6 rings, 10 scoring titles, 5 mvps etc before people would say he was the GOAT.... He earned it. Idiots these days crowning people a GOAT for finals appearances and not much else
This guy meant so much to me growing up, his legacy is untouchabull
Micheal Jordan controlled every aspect of the game EVERYTHING was under his control...it's crazy to compare him to.... ANYONE PERIOD😳😉😉😉👍🏼💯p
Looking at this footage Lebron is very lucky he wasn't a early 90's cavalier
+Critical John, my view is Lebron will be in mixed level of Carl Malone & Tim Duncan in MJ's prime era. Ain't enough to stop MJ.
MJ denied stars to be superstars! Lebron? He will not achived his status if michael is on his way, that’s a fact! Nobody can break Michaels heart..
can you imagine lebron as a 90s Cavalier? with mark price PG, Brad Daugherty center, Larry nance PF, lebron SF and either Ron Harper or gerald Wilkins SG. that's a stacked team right there.
imsljr420 And they all standing in the 3 point line waiting for Lebron to pass the ball, lol. That’s not how they played back then.
@@ttboy7544 so they wouldn't play that way if lebron was on the team either. they would run what ever plays Mike fratello ran. although he wasn't a great coach. so even then lebron would still not have a great coach.
No one can compare to MJ.
I remember watching this series when i was 13 years old, MJ was the best, Pippen was immense and Rodman was great fun
The amazing jordan.....
Luc Longley and Toni Kukoc were so underrated. What a team this was.
Swear to you Michael was a hard working guy. He played in every corner of the field.
recorded this entire series on VHS as a kid. watched them countless times over the years. There was a 25 points in 5 minutes fury by Jordan in one of the games. maybe game 3 or 4. it was in Seattle.
Commentators nor anyone else noticed it, but I did I guess after watching so many times
one word,,, King,,M.J.
People consider this Jordan's weakest finals performance of his. Saying he wasn't the MVP of this series He average 27.2ppg during this series.
Michael Jordan you sir are the best!
No way in hell the Miami Heat and LeBron would've been able to stop these Bulls in their 2nd 3-Peat
9:33 Jordan's the only player who has the right to get in a referee's face and get away with it. lol the referee didn't even wanna think about T'ing him up #GOAT status
Also AI, refs were batshit scared of AI.
Geez.he has no right bitch.hes no one special at all.
GOAT!
FADE IN:
Theme For Terminator 2 : Judgement Day
awesome.
SIMPLY THE GREATEST OF ALL TIMES
Michael Jordan Chicago bulls teammates very important to me I ❤ ❤ ❤ 🔥 🔥 🔥 fireworks
Michael Jordan Chicago bull organizations is very important to me I ❤ ❤ ❤ 🔥 🔥 🔥 fireworks
Woooow! Congratulations Chicago Bull's,.. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👊👊👊👊👊❤❤❤❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🤝🤝🤝🤝🤝🤝👍👍👍👍👍💪💪💪💪💪
"And it always happens to Craig Ehlo "
This was MJ's worst finals. He was transcendent in all the other ones.
Sonics in 96 and the Pacers 98 were the closest to beating Bulls in their championship runs. Those Knicks teams technically were close but if you watch they weren't as well rounded as those 2. Love this era of basketball!!
Idk if he's the most skilled to EVER play, but he definitely played with the most heart on both ends which made him the best.
Only reason the Bulls let this go to 6 was so they could win it at home, make no mistake about that. Spurs team vs. the Bulls team would've been a great matchup, both teams are well coached and fundamentally sound. Leflop era heat would've stood no chance vs. any of the 6 championship Bulls teams and if you really think the heat would've had a chance, you just weren't around in the 90's.
The GOAT in action....
The 1996 Finals were actually by far Jordan's worst. Considering he was two years older and put up better numbers in 1998, that seems much more impressive.
If Kobe's 2008-2010 team played in the 90s vs MJ in the finals: damn what a series it would be
Rashad C the greatest series of all time!!
MICHAEL JORDAN 23 PERFORMANCE 1996 GREATS NBA EVER
MJ was never the same anymore when he came back from baseball.
I love mj ever time i get a game i pick him for my team
That Intro though!!!!!
Jordan just had that black magic
The greatest to ever do it hands down
Share, the GOAT, his favorite year, and the GOAT team !
4:46 that fadeaway after the crossover is something unreal.
+Peter Alick (Hyrulyamoto) his fade away jumper was LETHAL and UNGUARDABLE he got so high in the air and it was spot on!
+Rosy Fajardo it was a near impossible thing to slow Jordan significantly I agree with you on that but I disagree that pippen could shutdown Kobe in his prime. Everyone knows that the only person who makes Kobe miss when he's having a good game is Kobe.
+Rosy Fajardo holy English with no punctuation
+Greg diaz , just a bit of correction. " he got so high in the air and stayed there afloat - defying gravity for seconds. It was spot on!"
Best Bulls team of the 6 titles in 8 years! Perhaps the greatest NBA team of all-time as well!
michael is a inspiration. Allen Iverson in philly thank you mj for inspiring me. I also wanna thank michael for inspiring me to do better in my life!
Man if you can watch it live, Jordan was so fast
I am inspired from the hard work , dedication and tenacity . Michael Jordan motivates and helps me to persevere through blood sweat and tears. This was emotional , tears rolled down my face in 1996 and again it did in 2018 . I don't know why but this is just POWERFUL .
Announcer is out there talking about "Jerry West use to do that" nah he never stopped on a dime and hit leaners. Jerry West was a great pure shooter I'm sure, but he definitely didn't have the footwork of Michael Jordan.
Lebron James Just Three-Peated!
He lost Three in a row against the Spurs!
In a whole page of comments I scrolled through, nobody caught the terminator music! Hahaha maybe someone did and I missed it, but this music fits perfectly lol
When opponents weren’t shaking their kids at his talent.. they were shaking their heads at his work ethic and sheer will. So they were always shaking their heads in disbelief
Got to meet Micheal Jordan after the game 3 win in the Bulls locker room... the look I had on my face when I saw him cracked him up.
He giving them that straight work. All over the court
Dude is unguardable
@23:32 Bill Walton says that Jordan changed directions in mid-air 2 or 3 different times. lol. Jordan is the best ever, but that has to be pretty difficult to do, even for him.
+Oldschool Gamer34 actually MJ was FAMOUS for his jumping ability and body control the famous lay up where he changed hands in mid air against the lakers was a good example
I know that Jordan is one of the best leapers in NBA history. I watched his whole career. Bill Walton is like the ultimate over exaggerator though. No one can change directions in the air. Lol
+Oldschool Gamer34 imagine a euro-step like change direction in the air loool
This is how great Michael Jordan was, I never watch a bball game again after he retired.
Never lol
so many tingles watching MJ play, such a pro! I can only imagine the tingles the crowd got watching this living legend play
Michael Jordan Chicago bull mother sisters brothers children's son is very important I ❤ ❤ ❤ 🔥 🔥 🔥 fireworks
Michael Jordan Chicago bulls insurances I hardly is very important to me I ❤ ❤ ❤ 🔥 🔥 🔥 fireworks
All the thumbs down are all LeBron fans 😭😭😭
In the beginning, I hear the music and think "I order you not to go! I ORDER YOU NOT TO GO TO THE FINALS!!"
Jordan looking at Kemp "I know not why you cry....it's something I can never do..i've never lost in the finals"
G.O.A.T went off in game 3
MJ was in his most athletical condition, it shown by his quickest movements, compared to 97 and 98.
And just think... this was Jordan's LEAST impressive Finals performance.
I think Rodman should've been finals MVP
imsljr420 nah mj still deserved it by far
Says a lot!
@@imsljr420 Yeah Rodman mind fucked that whole Sonics bench
Better than just about all of LeBron's
no one cant stop him,he is the GOAT of all time
Greatest of all time of all time?
