This is one of the very best chair exercises ! I have been doing this routine for few years now, and older I get, more and more I appreciate this wonderful routine. It helps me to maintain the all body mobility and my back does not give me trouble! Cindy, it is so easy to follow your calming instructions and, thank you for your encouragements ! It is an amazing video and a wonderful set of exercises. Thank you so much for creating and posting it !
I am on week two of this routine every day and can feel measurable effects. My back aches less, my posture is better and I feel more energised. Really good for the elderly (which I am).

Oh my goodness! I was beginning to think I would just have to put up with pain in my lower back and left hip when I saw your video and decided to try it. I just finished my first time through “Chair exercise for low back pain” and I definitely feel some relief in my back and hip. I knew I needed to stretch, but I’m 64 y.o. and everything I found kept wanting me laying on the ground, which I can’t really do. Thank you for these stretches. They helped. I’ll be back tomorrow for more.
Cindy, just finished this and I love it. I have several back issues and some exercises make it worse but not this one. My back is feeling great. Thank you. I have put it on my save list.

Cindy I am so glad I found your back pain regime. I live in Ireland and it’s very damp. I have had back pain for a year and tried everything from acupuncture to physio etc etc. I have been doing your exercises for 10 days and already feel so much better. I look forward to them I think that is the first time I have looked forward to an exercise. I can feel it doing me good I love the fact the exercises are so varied and you don’t have a repetition of 10 times in order for it to be successful. Thank you so much from the bottom of my back!
Hello Cindy. I've been doing these exercises for couple of weeks. The first chair yoga I've done and they are helping a lot. I like the no nonsense approach. I hope to memorize the moves so I can increase them later. Take care.

I almost didn't do this video but am glad that I did. It is perfect. Keep posting these chair stretches loved them. I am 54 and have had issues due to a surgery that weakened my core. Never had lower back discomfort until now. This was great. Thanks, again!

Hello, Cindy. Was having some pain at the back of my hips from whole day of seating. I did your warm-up then low cardio then finished my workout with this stretching. My Gosh! The pain disappeared! I couldn’t believe it. Thanks so much for your videos. I look forward to your new videos always! 👏👏👏

These exercise have really helped my hip pain.
This pandemic made me a slouch potato & naturally gained weight. Recently I had back pain after doing a low impact exercise. Mistake. I should have started doing YOUR stretching exercises FIRST. THANK YOU for doing this! Felt better. I’ll continue doing & check out your other videos.

Cindy: This is a wonderful set of stretching exercises which includes several exercises that are hard to find in other instructors' routines. However, your speed is too fast throughout, so that the practitioner usually has insufficient time to finish or go sufficiently through the exercise at hand. If you added 5 or 10 minutes to the whole routine it would be much better. Barry, 73.

I have suffered with LBP for years! I am overweight and only 4'11", so I'm sure that is a lot of the problem.
I need to strengthen lower back muscles...as that helped before the pandemic..I belonged to a gym then
The gym closed, and little by little the back pain has returned. big time.
I cannot even walk a half block without pain.
It's so depressing because there are so many things I would like to do, but just can't.
Of course, low motivation doesn't help!

Lois, Don't give up! Progress Is slower as we age as I am discovering with my rehab. But with baby steps and consistency, you should start to see improvement after a couple of weeks. Just keep thinking of all those things you would like to do and KEEP GOING! You can do it! Keep me posted.

Strained my lower back and was lying down for relief and had to start some movement. This is very helpful. Greatest relief was using counter and arm support to begin stretching back which couldn't til then. Only request is to add in some mellow instrumental music, but I did that with my phone. Thanks Cindy finally begnning to break pain cycle.

Hi Cindy. I have severe lower back pain. Your chair exercise for lower back every day helps immensely. I am not sure which one helps the most, however after completion I have less pain, not perfect but enough to help. This is my 'go-to' every morning, Thank you.

These were great. I did them in the hospital where I was first 24 hour observation… they helped the pain in my lower back from the soft mattress.

Thank you. This seemed to help. Still a little stiff but I feel oxygenated…. Some were a bit difficult to do, only because I’m 9 weeks post op from a knee replacement…. The discomfort started at 7 weeks.
