My daughter is an Irish dancer, and many of the girls use spray tan on their legs. Supposed to improve their scores from the judges, but it's very jarring to see a pasty white Irish girl with dark mahogany legs. :-)
No place right now, because of COVID, but usually at a contest called a Feis. They wear special wigs and dresses that cost thousands of dollars. It's quite a spectacle.
Interesting they don't just wear tights or stockings.
Also you would imagine that dancing paler legs would be easier to observe and score than darker legs. Lol

I wouldn't have thought that was very traditional....I wouldn't do it, those creams apparently had cancerous ingredients not long ago.
That's a very new thing. There were no wigs or spray tans in my Irish dancing days. A sleepless night in rollers before a competition and poodle socks with a Irish dancing dress. It's got far too crazy now.

@@thaismarina3655 the one I went to was actually for dyslexic, dyspraxic and dyscalculic. Sadly they had to close because Covid-19 tipped them over the edge with finance problems but they're opening 2 new schools soon. If you look hard enough there are dyslexic and other learning disability schools everywhere
