We also hear from some of the unexpected stars about what it is like to find yourself on the stage in front of over 2,000 people. Closing the show is a series three unexpected star, Anush Hydros, who is now staring on the West End stage and takes part in a very special performance.

@Paul I was not at the Battle of Hastings but I am allowed to talk about it, he is a well payed entertainer who I personally wouldn't open the curtains if he was there in my garden, and what is it with you that you have to resort to name calling when some one disagrees with you, and don't think you are speaking for the country when you say how beloved he is, what sort of viewing figures are we talking about concerning his show, a million a couple of million maybe, that only leaves about 64 million people not watching his show, sycophants like you are what McIntyre thrives on lick his ass all you want but don't pretend your a spokesperson for the British public.

@Paul We are using a forum that allows the user to discuss or comment on contributions of other users, why would you think my use of the term useless in relation to Mr McIntyre would refer to his general personality, you are right I do not know him, but because of the nature of his job he appears uninvited on my TV and attempts to entertain me, he fails miserably I hate everything about his comedic style, it appears you have no such reservations about him in fact you think he is a national treasure and should be venerated and above criticism, may I suggest that you probably don't know him either and your statement that he is a good father comes from a place of ignorance, you end your comment by suggesting I am useless, again you have no idea who I am but that does not prevent you from verbally blackening my character, why not join McIntyre's fan club, there I am sure you will be able to read nothing but favourable comments from other snowflakes like you.

This is the most brilliant show! BBC truly needs to talk to FOX, ABC, CBS, etc. and get an American version of this started in America! I could watch hours of this and never get bored. Michael McIntyre is so talented and quick with the wit. I'm not sure there is an American comedian that could do the job as well as Michael.
Then BBC would lose Michael. The Americans don't get the sense of humour or the accent. They would need it translated. Ha
I reckon the Americans would hate bilge like this. They would also no doubt be perplexed at what qualifies as a celebrity in the UK.

@georgedonaldson1516 no we would LOVE this in the US! I'm crying 😂. The US is obsessed with the UK show Traitors. I liked the US version, but loved the first UK season. We wouldn't have any issue of what makes a celebrity in the UK. We have that issue in the US already 😂. You can be a 'celebrity' in the US by doing Tik Tok dances or reality TV. Reality TV starts can be President in fact. We need the laughs. 😂

Same when I run across something australian (rarely, granted): I assume their target audience is Australians (just like it's Brits here), and these Australians of course have the background to understand all the bits (or most, anyway), and the details about what's what is my job to find out, to educate myself about the bits of Aussienity I'm unfamiliar with.

It’s all set up - just like most of tv entertainment programmes. There will be nothing random about this - no ‘celebrity’ would actually allow Michael McIntyre to openly use their mobile phone.
And the ‘celebrities’ are on this to promote themselves - there’s nothing brutal about it.
Funny guy in send to all, and there are some of the participants' who make it even funnier.
