The thing that you had Cloe open is used on old black & white photos. When it comes out of the camera, you have a paper to peel off of it and then you wipe it with that & it reminds me of nail polish the way it dries & leaves a shiny protective coating on the picture.
Just watched your video of the QVC shopper and doll collector. It looks like with the diapers and tens unit and motor chair, she was an I'll woman that reminded me of my mother who had MS. It's a shame a family member didn't inherit her treasures. I don't begrudge your find, I just feel sorry for her treasures being lost

Long wood & metal Texas nutcracker works great on pecans. Regular crackers tend to crush them.

Yall being in Oklahoma,I can't help but wonder if yall may have come accross the storage shed my exhusband lost when we lived there in 2004-2005 ish. It was full of stuff including a waterbed lol... but the Only two things that were in it, that I was tore up over losing was my great grandmother's Cedar chest that was passed down mother to mother till I got it and my oldest son's baby book was in it. 😔 I know its been WAY too long, they're gone but its interesting to think yall may have seen it. I didn't realize that he wasn't playing on it at that time, or I'd have taken Care of it, somehow but we had moved from Midwest city, OK back to Arkansas.
Hopefully the weather hasn't effected the color and developer. As far as that goes hopefully none of chemical made products are damaged.

That gold hair pin had mother of pearl set in it, being vintage that would be worth money.

If you haven't introduced yourself to Dr. Lori (Lori Ann Verderame, PhD) on CZcams and her own site, you "need" to, you'll make more money if you follow her.
You already have a "clue" that "clostume jewelrey is valuable, but some of the pieces you found are probably worth more than "gold." Start watching her.
Also, though you had a good idea which items weren't pearls, as Dr. Lori says, "NEVER PUT A PEARL BETWEEN YOUR TEETH" to see if it's gritty, you "devalue it" when you do that. Dr. Lori instructs you how to "determine" real pearls from manufactured pearls--
'you got a good thing going, I'd say that "haul" of Costume Jewelry is worth close to $100,000.00 or more (if you market it and sell it in the right places)! You found a treasure trove.
Dr. Lori's like a "personal tutor" on all things antique and, for this find, your Costume Jewelry (don't start selling it until you watch her instruction on the items you have here) a major find (I do hope you find the match to that one starfish/starburt clip earing--and, be careful with the piece that fell out of the one pair of clip costume jewelty, Dr. Lori will tell you how to get it repaired so you get the "best price"! Also, that one "pocket watch," still has its original "crystal," its values at this point is unknown, depending on the "jewels" which determines the movement, be regardful of it.
(Please, please be more careful when you're shuffling through "Costume Jewelry," simply by bumping one piece against another piece you can devalue its worth.) AND, WEAR WHITE COTTON GLOVES WHEN HANDLING COSTUME JEWELREY, 'even though its "NOT COOL." By touching it with your hand you get oil and debris on each peice (which depreciates its value).
...maybe "even" set the costume jewelry boxes aside and do a separate video on them using precaution--and, don't let "Kati" riffle through your find (very sweet of you, but, by doing so you disrupted the "chain of custody" on the pieces she showed on her site which are now "not as valuable" as they would have been had you shown them yourself).
If you want to be a "professional," "be a professional!"
Dr. Lori will even tell you were to sell to get the best price!
You won't be able to "retire" on this "Costume Jewelry Find," but you can make a down payment on a house, invest in the stock-maket (if you mind 'the p's & q's of appraising Costume Jewelry): and, with that "find" you can actually establish yourself as a professional and expert 'if you get the "correct" information and handle the jewelry correctly!"
I 'think" you have it in because you already demostrated keen insight into the value of your find, you're still into the "CZcams" 'see what I 'found mentality! With your keen sense of targeting storage bins, I think it has something to do with "sixth sense," if you play it right, you could be "movin right up!"
Chain of Custody:
Original owner (find out the name), storage site, you, 'then "Kati."
How 'bout 'just keep it, "Original owner, storage site/auctioner, you, 'no Kati!"
And, to sell, it would be:
"Original Owner, storage owner/auctioner, you."
Lots MORE money!
Unfortunately, it's "already" on CZcams that the Chain of Custody went from Original Owner, to Storage/Auction, you, to Kati--and, "back again."
P.S., your wife can handle the costume jewelry (with white cotton gloves), since you're married, "she" is "considered the same as you in "Chain of Custody."
If you're NOT married, that would be considered, legally, an additional "link" in the 'Chain of Custody.
