    We are finally getting back into the TJ Maxx Hoarder unit! Today, we are just taking a closer look at some of the awesome vintage stuff coming off the truck as we sort through all the old Vintage boxes. We find vintage books, toys, fabrics, vintage jewelry, and so much more! There's nothing better than a vintage unboxing, and this entire box truck is full of new vintage!

    Take the socks to a homeless shelter. They LOVE them. I love the leather multi-compartment bag and the poinsettia placemats. Cute gun!! The thing with the yellow handle that looks like bakelite, is an angel food cake cutter. Knives crush angel food cakes.

    Merthiolate was what every Mom put on booboos ages ago! My Mom used Bactine. That bottle is OLD! It used to come in little square brown bottles with an applicator in the lid. It burnt like all get out!

    The cake pan I'm talking about is the covered 9 x 13.5 inch one. It has a flat cover. They aren't available in the stores anymore.

    I wish you were in Missouri I'd buy that yellow kitchen stool from you. I had one when I was young. Wish I could get one in my area. Now I'm older it would be a blessing in the kitchen. Standing for long periods is tougher.

    That item at 14:29 that you called an angel food cake slicer with bakelite hand was actually a hair pick from the 70s. My aunt had several of them and my little cousin was using it to comb my hair that was down past my butt. She rolled my hair up in that pick from the end almost to my scalp and than got it tangled. They thought they were going to have to cut it out.

    Those earrings are Suffragette colored and styled for that time period. In England they would go for good money, here I don't think we connected the colored stones with the movement.

    Old buttons can sell for big bucks. MOP, shell, bakealite, metal (especially military), and other early forms of plastic ones sell. People collect them. Look it up.

    The little bottle of tincture merthiolate is made by a company named Eli Lilly. They are huge in the medical field. That particular one is a vintage acne treatment. If you still have it I would contact a vintage medicine museum.

    Wishing I could have the fabric and patterns cause it reminds me of my mamaw. But I understand that you have to make money where you can. I see all the old stuff you are pulling out and I cry because of my mamaw used to have all the stuff as well and my uncle and mom trashed a lot of the stuff. I had a handcrafted home decor business for over 14 years and was featured in many magazines such as Romantic Homes, Better Homes & Gardens, etc. if you ever need any help figuring out what things are, value, etc,.
