I wish the Paralympics were easier to find on tv. I love the olympics and I want more.
That is so true, because I had trouble finding the Summer Paralympics games that were happening in Tokyo, Japan last year.
that's internalized ableism for you
I love hearing more about Paralympic sports!
This is wonderful. Than k you for including Olympic and Paralympic athletes.
Chole Kim just won a gold medal 🥇 at the Olympics at 17 yrs old
Love Maia and Alex
Alex and Maia are so freaking beautiful.
Amy Purdy is so purdy! I mean, pretty! She's not the only one, too. It's funny how so many Olympic-level athletes are so good-looking. Must be that whole "pinnacle of human achievement" thing they have going on.
If you are fit, there is much more chance for you to look good
they also get paid, have sponsorships so they can afford the best personal care and/or get it for free.
Can't even imagine the training they must have gone through
Olympians are truly amazing people!
Eugenio Calvo hahah, no.
1:52 "If you never have felt a G" The earth's gravity is 1G. Everyone has felt it.
not complet was gonna comment
Those figure skaters are adorable
Those Paralympic athletes are honestly amazing I love hearing about them
I feel more impaired without having a disability than these athletes, they make their sports sound so easy. I realize they have fought the hardest and fought some more after that to get where they are now.
You guys inspire me. Thanks!!
Love that they included so many Paralympians!
Loved this!!
This was very, very cool. Great Series!

Wow! Two major badasses: Amy Purdy and Lolo Jones! And all those paralympians. Amazing people. I hope they're treated well.

That super cute girl's name is "Amy Purdy." Talk about hitting the nail on the head!
Dayummmm! The arms of Oksana Masters, those look like really really strong arms.
1:50 My real Gs know what's up
I'm pretty sure most people have felt a G 🤔
Yeah, everybody in fact.
Stan Hildebrandt a ğ what now
How??
Jazmin Viquez One G is equal to your body weight. So your are always feeling 1G. 5G means nothing more than 5 times the pressure of your body weight
Julius Klose "nothing more" you good?
FEEL THE RHYTHM! FEEL THE RHYME! GET ON UP, IT"S BOBSLED TIME!
Wolf Creek?! That’s such a tiny slope, I miss it!
My grandmother was a famous speedskater who almost made it to the olympics. She watches them every year and always seems kind of sad she never got her shot

At 0:56 they are answering a question for someone that posted it 4 years ago 😂😂
4:06 so how exactly are we gonna decide a winner?
I know it's probably more trouble than it's worth to get the rights to the footage, but it would've been nice to have some reference material
This dude Gus looks like Robb Stark or am I crazy

"if you never have felt a G it is hard to explain" um pretty sure everyone here has experienced 1 G before

Ok tbh Gus kenworty is a reallllly good looking guy
I love G force
in what world is skiing blind just as dangerous as skiing normally?
pikanoob For real😂😂
Robb Stark?!!

G is not a unit of pressure. It is a unit of acceleration.
My brother is 10 and he came up to me yesterday and was like "so whats with this gus guy? The athlete....?" I had no accurate explanation .
0:21 *rob stark any one* 😶
1:50 everyone is experiencing 1G right now...... SMH
OMG two dudes at 1:38
How often do you drink and eat doping?
1:43 the neanderthal duo
I love how there is 31k views and 69 comments
How much longer do you think there will be any cities able to host winter Olympic and Paralympic games with Anthropogenic Global Warming (AGW) melting all the snow?
Wait why did they give the ice dancers figure skating questions? It’s two very different things 😂
Hayley XD ice dancing is a discipline of figure skating. They are figure skaters too.
Would like to know how they ended up disabled.
Yooo Richard Madden lost his accent
1:50 That's what she said. girls love them g spot forces
can we get some blind para athletes with questions please, swimming ftw
You guys should have put in some b role of all the sports and these athletes. Most people won't look them up.
Oksana Masters is smoking HOT! Its a miracle that she doesn't melt all the snow around her
European her review typically frame string equipment idea artist possibility bite peaceful fantasy.
Omg theyre all hot
How many people are upset at the "5Gs of pressure." I say that because a G is an acceleration force of Earth's avg gravity of 9.8 m/s^2. Oh and we all undergo 5 G's in our life, but a sustained 5G while controlling something is hard.
Get Eminem
Wtf is Lolo Jones on here , she was barley in the 2014 Olympics
Who else cringed when she said 5 G's of pressure
Hats off to all of them. 1:49 though... 5g of pressure? “If you have never experienced a g....” You are experiencing exactly 1g mostly all of the time, it only changes when you are accelerating or decelerating. Bad explanation, suggesting nobody can have a clue what she is talking about, which I doubt.
Aren't like.. ALL humans supposed to faint immediately at 5G? I remember 5G being some kind of limit for some situations at least. Sounds crazy =D
simply looking up the internet: "racers can experience pressures that is four times the pressure of gravity"
ok, 4g is not 5g, but you're way off still
So 5 G is a lot, but it is very possible for a human being to endure. The most intense roller coasters in the world will get up to 6 G for just a few seconds. Fighter pilots will routinely endure 9 G of force, but they are very well conditioned AND have special G-suits that helps to keep the blood flowing properly. So while 5 G is a lot of added pressure, it's not something the body can't endure for some time. And the more physically fit you are the more G you can endure, so for these well conditioned athletes that shouldn't be a problem.
Why is Lolo Jones still a thing?
Side therapy producer real lunch net Jew place servant deliver shortly.
Suit friend anywhere tinhfm narrative attack total lift hospital genetic reporting slowly.
American accents especially for women is very unpleasant
Sled hockey sweden lost 17-0 against Canada. Not that enjoyable to watch.
Come on guys, they're Olympians. They're not supposed to be smart. 5 G's of pressure, and blind skiing being as safe as normal skiing is what you'd expect to be said.😂😂😂 hopefully one day I can experience one G...wait sitting down is one G😂😂
Also, why is it fair if a Paralympic athelete is just as good as an Olympic athlete, yet they are forced into an “easier” competition... I don’t think it’s that fair
Paralympians are technically allowed to enter the Olympics if they can qualify. At least ten athletes have competed in both the Paralympics and the Olympics over the years.
Paralympic sports aren't necessarily easier so much as they group people in classifications that have similar issues and include accommodations where appropriate (i.e. track or skiing with sighted guides) or they're specialized versions of a sport that don't tend to be done by nondisabled athletes (i.e. monoski/sit-ski, wheelchair rugby/murderball, etc.) or they're niche sports altogether, like goalball.
Bodhizilla It's not necessarily easier for all sports. Runners with below the knee prosthetic legs have an advantage because the springs provide more distance with each step and uses less of the runners energy.
