The sound keeps getting removed by CZcams when I post test footage (copyright claims), I'll try to test with material that has sound and won't be removed in future videos! For this projector, if the video itself has any amount of sound then you don't notice the fans much, except during quiet scenes. They sound like a laptop that's working, but not straining - whooshing air but no high pitched whine.
I cover that in my review at The Gadgeteer (linked in description), but short answer is it's one of the best I've used so far - but to compete with daylight any bright projector has to get bright enough that it washes out the darker areas of the image to some extent. Always best to have blinds/shades, the darker the room, the better the dark parts of the content being viewed.
Have any video with Sound. Because the fan seems loud. But it also depends where the mic is placed.
