This was after maybe 2 or 3 hours scattered practice sessions, took a few nights before i could confidently mount/dismount without holding a pole or wall, then learning to turn was a few more sessions. I’ll try to film some more for sure!

I just got one of these today. Got it charged and stood on it and went back and forth a few times in my shed. It's dark out and I didn't want to start "learning" in the dark. I come from escooters and ebikes so the learning curve should be "interesting". Figured I'd learn on this before I decided if I wanted a much faster and more expensive ones. Also those mountains in the background are beautiful. Wish I was practicing there myself.. have fun!!

The constant refresh is only on the regal mode, to keep the highest fidelity of the image and also to prevent ghosting. You can use fast ur ultra fast for normal usage outside reading books or comics and it works great, just like a normal tablet. Heck... I even use it to watch tiktok late at night on the ultra fast refresh mode with no lag, try it 😊

Good questions, I've used a mix of high quality cameras and smartphone rear shooters, and have switched exclusively to smartphone cameras since getting a Pixel Fold and later my current OnePlus Open (which is what this was shot with). I get consistently better shots with the OnePlus Open than any previous camera, and it's much more convenient. :) The lighting was better as well, and this particular panel is really vibrant which helps too. Your wishlist for a good portable monitor matches mine as well!

This was near full speed, but not all the way, without solid grab bars I don't feel fully stable at the highest setting with my desk up high. You can go up to a light jog/speed walk on it though, 5 MPH top speed

no problems with leakage at all. the cable that is plugged in does power the circular touchscreen, which controls extra magnetic resistance. It is usable when plugged in, but you're only getting the water resistance in that case (once you get the water spinning it's not a lot of resistance).

Any of the small DJI drones are great, I've had several different models and they've all had better video and flight stability than other brands.

no issues so far, and it's not terribly noisy, but I also use Nvidia Broadcast to cut ambient noise (sometimes I have 3D printers and other things running), so there's no way this would be picked up with my setup. If you have a very sensitive microphone, it might come through. I'd imagine this is on the quieter side of treadmills though.

I'm 6'4", and it's just long enough for what it's designed for: walking at a standing desk. If you have a long stride length while walking and or long legs it might be too short, but for most it's just right I think

The sound keeps getting removed by CZcams when I post test footage (copyright claims), I'll try to test with material that has sound and won't be removed in future videos! For this projector, if the video itself has any amount of sound then you don't notice the fans much, except during quiet scenes. They sound like a laptop that's working, but not straining - whooshing air but no high pitched whine.

I cover that in my review at The Gadgeteer (linked in description), but short answer is it's one of the best I've used so far - but to compete with daylight any bright projector has to get bright enough that it washes out the darker areas of the image to some extent. Always best to have blinds/shades, the darker the room, the better the dark parts of the content being viewed.

While it says HDR on the specs, it doesn't allow me to turn it on for everything in Windows, I think it's just for HDR enabled for certain streaming videos? In my experience with several HDR screens (including $1000+ panels), it's often not worth the hassle to turn on and calibrate, at least for me.

I was worried about that too! However, so far no problems at all. You'd have to be on a pretty uneven trail, most rocks would hit the trucks before the board bottom

@@Nero691 I'm also no expert on rowers! I wasn't giving it full power on purpose, it gets much louder and the water froths everywhere if I go all out, this lower resistance slower test showed how the machine worked. I also probably don't have great form, followed some guides but new to it all.
