I'm having problems fitting it in. I was hoping that there was an option to 'squish' everything in to the text box I have defined. No Joy! Any hints gladly accepted. - D
I know PP7 lets you set some templates for specific things. I would go there first. We don't display them on the screen as we have our license in the description of the video. TV broadcast requires them on screen I am not sure if the web does. We have not been hit with anything for not having them on screen so we will most likely not put them on until we are told we need to.
Hey Justin! Great video. My church is soon to be upgrading our Mac and upgrading to Pro 7. We have a separate PC for the live stream so being able to show lower-thirds from Pro 7 is epic. I'm not up-to-date on what NDI is but my question is, does my Mac need to be hardwired to the PC (via a cable or something) for my PC and OBS to see the created NDI? Or how does the PC see the NDI signal/setting from the Mac/Pro 7?
Hey Jordan good question. NDI stands for Network Device Interface. So that being said both computers need to be on the same network. NDI does work over wifi but it will be pretty unreliable I will always suggest a hardwired network.
I am glad you put out these videos, l would like to know if it would be a problem for our propresnter 7 is on a Mac and our streaming computer is windows?
You ever have a problem with latency in your setup?I have a pretty similar setup with MacBook Pro M1 for streaming gwith OBS and Mac mini M1 with PP7 having a NDI Screen. I sometimes get like a 1 second + delay and sometimes it's barely noticeable.

I've followed your instructions but still not getting the transparency in OBS. I've got OBS v30.1.2 and Pro7 v7.16.2 with an NDI audience screen, alpha key set to 'Straight'. Where do you think should I look into where there's something wrong?
@@EnhanceDontDistract hahaha I worked it out. Silly me. I didn't realize the order of sources in a scene in OBS mattered. I had the video capture first followed by the propresenter NDI source. I swapped them around having the NDI source on top and now it's working!
Hi. I have a propresenter on a Macbook that doesn't have an ethernet port. and I have obs on pc that has an ethernet port. how do I connect them together? maybe there is another way to connect both PCs for ndi to work?
Hey Daniele, it's all done over the network. It's not like SDI as long as everything is on the same machine there is nothing you need to do. If PP7 and OBS are on different machines then they need to be on the same network.

I'm having problems with getting ddi into ops I downloaded everything but for some reason it is not working.
What version of obs are you on?

It depends on the system that is in place. I have had it and not it depends on the flow.

Check NDI viewer to see if you can see the NDI stream coming from pro presenter

You can get a usbc to ethernet adapter
what about the cable and device that need to be possessed to make this function? is thera any video about? Where do I get NDI output and cable?

I'm going to try this on Tuesday. We use BlackMagic so does a chroma key need to be setup in it?
So PP7 has an alpha key feature. But this right to obs not to an atem
Any ideas on why on OBS I'm not getting the overlay but it shows a QR Code?
Check NDI viewer and see what the ndi feed is showing

Also what should the Alpha type be set to? Single or Pre multiplied?
I found out why the QR code. Its the code to remote view NDI. The PP NDI source isnt showing. I guess I need to figure that out.

Mine shows the watermark because I had the free trial version. If you have the paid version it wont have a water mark
