Man the sorrow in Mileena’s voice in heartbreaking. Tanya was the only one to truely see her as a person. Not a failed experiment, not a replacement, not a weapon, not an abomination and certainly not a monster. True there were most likely some treacherous thoughts at the beginning after the deed was done but after the whole Reiko ordeal the 2 of them obviously got much much closer.

I wonder how Mileena would react to the knowledge that Tanya was sleeping with Rain at the same time. She so desperately wants to believe what they had was real.
I think she knew but when the 2 both got serious Rain and Tanya broke up(more Tanya than Rain but same thing). Only after Mileena died did Tanya restart the snuggles with Rain as mention in MKX.

Here's the the thing...in Mileena's ending she got to control time and fate, so she put her and Tanya together with a child of their own which answers if Mileena desperately wanted them to have something real or not. Most of us here know that Tanya only gets what benefits her and doesn't give a crap about anyone else. Rain and Tanya were going to betray her one way or another because they're both awful people. In my opinion, the entire situation with Mileena has always been pretty heartbreaking. She was made from an evil sorcerer, her "sister" hated her from their first encounter in the Flesh Pits, everyone hates her, and nobody really cares about her when they act like they do, a common yet heartbreaking facade.
I mean only baraka really seems to give an actual shit about her since he was loyal to the end and millennia’s just fuck you waste of my time

No, Tanya didn’t betray Mileena. If she had, Mileena’s arcade ending would have likely reflected it. But no, they’re happily together with a daughter.
I cannot imagine Mileena wanting Tanya if she knew she had betrayed her in such a way. So I believe she actually loved Mileena and genuinely wanted her to succeed.
Endings almost always give the characters they want a happy ending. Not only that but Mileena still has a somewhat childlike mind.
If Mileena never found out about the betrayal (literally like Rain says who introduced them) then she would still have feelings for Tanya (who deceives almost everyone she talks too)
In MKX Rain explains his plan to betray and kill Mileena outloud to Dvorah and Cassie, to which Tanya comes to his aid and attempts to sneak attack Dvorah and Cassie, implying she was there the whole time, or at least long enough to set up an ambush. Tanya's made it very clear shes loyal only to herself or Edinia. Also remember in the arcade endings, the characters have the ability to shape the world the way they see fit, and change people the way they see fit.

Tanya has always allied herself with whomever has the upper hand at the moment. She’s similar to Erron and Kano in that aspect but what separates them is money. She only wants power while they’re in it for the cash.

Let's agree, how much I and many here like the idea that Tanya can also love Mileena, (and Tanya's name is a short version of my, so I kind of want her retcon😂) but still, Rain might be right, and Tanya would still betray Mileena at some point. That was her ending. But I don’t think the arcade endings are canon
They’re not. The only rnding that was ever really canon was Mileena’s in Deception. The others could be seen as part canon or possible canon until proven otherwise in the next game like how the MK kids got ambushed by Erron in multiple MKX endings but nothing like this happened in MK11.

I hate how so many things here dont make sense. In MKX it's very clear that both Tanya and Rain are together betraying Mileena, then Tanya's ending says she escapes and Rain get's killed. Then on MK11 Tanya is the one who is dead and Rain is alive 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️ anyway, i dont believe for one second that Tanya loved Mileena very much

Considering this is supposed to be MK9 Mileena brought forward in time and therefore she's only been walking around for maybe an hour or two at best and therefore wouldn't have had the time to probably even meet Tanya, let alone establish anything close to a romantic bond with her...

@@parasee2316 it doesn't explicitly state in her MK11 bio that she was pulled from MK9, no, but given that literally everyone else _was_ and Mileena was literally in the same place everyone else was pulled from, it stands to reason she was too, especially with the "Brought forward in the timeline by Kronika, Mileena has learned of her tragic future" line. Her being the sole person brought in from MKX makes no sense even if it would make these intros make more sense. She even looks like her MK9 self as opposed to her MKX self
Its not like Netherrealm is a stranger to screwing things up. They just didn't bother making sure her intros made sense or lined up with established stuff. Its a common reoccurring problem with Netherrealm's writing, comes with being incompetent

Idk shang tsung nightwolf and fujin were pulled from some point in time, and fujin wasn't really in mk9. So if anything kronika probably pulled each of them from different points in time as well.
Considering how she talks to Kotal and Rain, it's highly unlikely this Mileena is from before the rebellion
I love Mileena so much and I really loved Tanya until she betrayed her...
For anyone saying Tanya loved Mileena... that's not true.
Tanya doesn't love anyone but herself and she was gonna betray Mileena (basically did) her and Rain were together working against Mileena.
The tower endings are not real and have no relevance to the story arc at all. Milleena doesn't know about her betraying her so that's why her tower ending is the way it is. As far as Mileena knows Tanya actually cared about her (she didn't). It doesn't really matter if she's still alive because the timeline is reset....
I don't think they'd be together in the next timeline... Tanya is a bad guy and she doesnt have any true relevance to the game in the bigger plot... she has her storyline but it became important with Rain but he's the one with a actual arc not her.....
Obviously this doesn't matter because we'll never know what they'll do.....
I think the only person who should care for her should be Kitana as that would make more sense especially since they are not known to trust outsiders (Tanya is a outsider)... it would make them both stronger in story if they finally loved each other and cut off fake ppl such as Rain and Tanya
Also to anyone saying Mileena seems hurt over her... I don't think so. It'd technically be a clone of her and she was cloned before the entire Tanya thing...
Probably unpopular opinion but I wish they would have brought back MkX Mileena instead. Because I think the voice and design was better for her and Kitana plus Mileena was more level headed this Mileena is the one fresh from the flesh pits and her intros don’t make sense
