@@UbberMapper I found it strange how he never mentioned the original creator of the puzzle, who explicitly said to not charge others money, and just proceeds to promote his Etsy store. But yeah, the creator, Oskar Van Deventer, published this along with all of his previous works in his website: *insert his whole name* _dotHere_nl *slash*Print -It -Yourself*slash*
Edit: forgot to mention that the creator has his own channel with a playlist that lets you preview all the models he published. His channel is OskarPuzzle and the playlist is titled "Print-It-Yourself Puzzles"
Edit2: I do hope you and many others see this. Who knows how many other of his works aren't actually his. I don't know this because I don't have time to look it up, but it's definitely odd.
I can see why the number of moves increases exponentially with the number of pieces; it takes multiple red piece moves for one orange piece move, and it takes many orange piece moves for one yellow piece move, and so on and so forth. It's like counting upward in some base!
You just explained a line of gears
5:01 "Oh and the purple one!" 💀
*(It's pink)*
I swear oskar sees the world different. He's a puzzle engineering genius.
Loved the intro.
Puzzle Guy watching CZcams puzzle video with his feet up quickly sits up and excitedly says,
“I want that!!!”
That’s just how I feel after seeing you reveal new puzzles in your videos.
Oskar is a great puzzle designer. It was hard to skip the Zigguflat puzzle. Too much fun playing with it.
btw, if you printed more of the green and yellow pieces, you could extend It indefinetly.
cool. the green and yellow pieces are the same, but are flipped along the straight edge when added to the puzzle.
The ones with a 90° corner(pink, blue, red) and orange are 'finishng' parts to start and end the progression.
Oh and regarding green and yellow, you can add them one at a time if you want too.
so a 'complete' puzzle can have from 4 to (4+n) parts
Yes, I've already noticed that and tried to assemble 8 piece version but it takes soooooo much time.
@@Puzzleguycan you pls show how to solve it pls
What a great fidget puzzle!
Love this puzzle. Thank you for the content 😊
Thank you for watching my content 😃
I ended up printing myself a set of 7 of these which include puzzles that have 4,5,6,7,8,10 and 12 pieces
Awesome. How long did it take you to assemble the 12 piece version?
It took me around 2 hours to assemble the 12 piece version as the more pieces added the more moves and time it’s takes I worked out that you could add an infinite number of the yellow and/or green pieces to extend the puzzle I think a 12 piece version is large enough maybe one day I might make a larger version of this puzzle
It also can become very confusing to know which piece needs to be move and in which direction it needs to be moved
Also, if you wanted to make a 4,5,6,7,8,10 or 12 piece puzzle you could have just ordered the expansion pack on his Etsy shop
Where do you get the models for these? I would be willing to pay for .STL but I can't find them
@@LavendelBrei I don't sell .stl files. All project files belong to puzzle designers. Check Oskar Van Deventer's site for Zigguflat stl.
Very cool puzzle. Need to add a couple of pieces more.
Waiting to finish printing my copy of this puzzle as well
I've printed mine right after I watched Oskar's video. I knew it will be an awesome puzzle. You can print extra green and yellow pieces and make your puzzle 8 piece, 10, 12 etc.
Help I can't find the STL
Nice one 👍🏼
Favorite so far
cool, a binary counting puzzle
it’s like a modular puzzle!
I would love to see a 50Piece version
Not sure how puzzling it is, seems more like a counter (hence the exponential nature with adding stages)? Still really cool.
I don’t think I blinked once though this entire video
does anyone have a link to the .stl file for this? can't seem to find one on thingiverse or printables
this puzzle is crazy. it should work as a sort of combination lock to keep a box sealed.
you make a 16 pieces version. use it as a lock and laugh at whoever tries to open it.
16 piece version will probably take hours to solve
You could probably program a robot to solve it because it's so systematic, though...
@@FireyDeath4 technically, you could program a robot to be the teacher of your children too.
it may be systematic but you need to know what system to follow since the solution depends on what pieces are being used and in what positions/places.
I want that too, but how can I get the 3d model?
You can get it from Oskar Van Deventer's site. Google it.
4:39 that’s pink, not purple
now do a 3 piece solution
Link to Oscar's video?

(2:56) THERE IS NO PURPLE
Why is everyone calling the purple piece pink?
(2:15) IS A RECTANGLE
sulve the pozzle
How are you selling someone else's puzzle?
I have Oskar Van Deventer permission to sell two of his puzzles.
First give me ❤
I'll remove the ❤if you don't watch the video till the end 😂😂😂
