This was kinda helpful, putting the first three pieces together was helpful but the second part I was struggling with. I did get the puzzle solved by holding the first three pieces in my hand and slowly sliding the other three pieces together. It worked. Thanks for the video.

Blue tac works for keeping it together, just stick some small pieces on the flat parts where they join and compress, should stay together ;)

I think you need man hands to do this. I can get both sides together but the second I turn them towards each other, they fall apart. After 9,852 times & cobwebs growing on me from sitting here so long, I'm going to after to raise the white flag and surrender to the puzzle makers.

Thanks I wast doing this for a week and it was this simple... actually you don’t need big hands you just got to be steady you can actually set the one half down if needed

I ended up using my dropsaw and cut a few corners off now it still doesn't work so I donated it to a friend that I am not that fussy about 😂

Once you opened it your HOW TO is great! Easy to understand and see, simply put. Thank you very much! I finally got it! But I’ve yet to see a video on this 12 point star that STAYS SECURE as it was from the start. We must be doing something wrong if it doesn’t return to tight and hard to pull apart...am I right?

Mine doesn't have chamfers like the one shown here, all sharp angles, edges and points. It is a lot more difficult to merge the two halves together.
