7 Great Exercises for Low Back Pain & Stiffness

- Lower back pain is one of the most common musculoskeletal problems in modern society, especially the kind where you feel it getting up from a chair or bending. These exercises are 7 of the best exercises for relieving-and more importantly preventing-tight, achy lower backs.
A lower back exercise regime should, at a minimum, include mobilising the lumbar spine in all 3 planes of motion. PLUS it should strengthen & activate the glutes, as well as stretch the hip flexors, to ensure the pelvis-the foundation of your spine--is properly supported.

As far back as I can remember, my lower back has always been sore. Likely posture and trauma. It felt good after your easy to follow directions. Not pain free, just more relaxed. Sweet Cat!🐈⬛ THANK YOU!

once again Doc u made my day! since last week I had this uncomfortable pain in my lower back, a few days after it started I got 2 bumps ,Ping-Pong ball size, swelling on my quad lumbar muscles. then I remembered the video you help me with my shoulder blade pain, and then saw this! Exactly what I needed! thanks again Doc! Already feels TONS better!

Thanks this really helped my low back pain. I did a too-aggressive stretch earlier this week and this was great to reset my low back. Done it twice and the pain is almost gone.

Ha! Yes, he likes to oversee my exercises to check I'm doing then properly, but he gets a bit grumpy if I don't give him enough attention. ;)

Hi docter i was operated just on my lower back due to hernea growth, but am still feeling so paint on the lower back and one side of my leg is numb
Sorry, but a case following surgery is far too complicated to do remotely. I have to examine the spine in person. 🤷🏼♂️

i sneezed recently one morning and its like my back tightened up, this was really painful, and took 3 weeks to get back to normal, since then which was 4 months ago it has come back at least once a month, not with the e same intensive pain. these exercises have been very helpful.
It's amazing how much sneezing can affect the back
I was doing the knee roll without even knowing it was good, I kinda loved how it stretched my waist.
I also enjoyed enough cake for today 🥮
Gotta leave a bit of cake for another day. You can have too much of a good thing! 🎂
