- Defanging the Snake is a really important tactic in Pekiti Tirsia Kali. It means to take away your opponents ability to hurt you.
This means targeting the weapon hand or attacking limb before attacking the head or the body. This is to ensure that you are safe and unharmed while you extend to attack the more vital areas of your opponent.
