    Oh!
    Hubud ❤️❤️
That rib cage is screaming "hit me"!!😆
When the basic is flowing, u start looking for openings to poke, hit, stab etc.
It's a really fun training drill, with endless opportunity 👍
    Love to both, from 🇧🇻.

Chris did an awesome job considering it's his first time. I'd be going: heah, could u show me that again. Can be confusing the first time one trains in Hubud Lubud especially if one tries so hard to grasp the techniques. Kudos for vid. Anticipating next one.

Chris did it well when the knife suddenly popped into his hands. I like what he did. :)
But he's good as a first timer, really... and Paul's a very good teacher, undeniably.

Man, this is a great little drill, great foundational skills. But with more martial/kali experience... there are sooo many avenues and options at every part of that I see that it can lead into. Very nice little bit of 'kit' so to speak. Great training, guys.

Look to the V42 Fighting Kinfe called Devils Brigrade in the WW 2 the Part for the Thump teach you an Grip for Very Powerfull Parade ( Blocking ) Movments very smal Ankels , fast like the Lightnig Attacks and an increbidel Powerfull Impact the same Strategie ist for the Famous Geber Mark 2 ! Have Fun by the Training ! Sorry for my bad Englisch ! Andy ( Andreas) Kommoß from Germany ! I started my Eskrima ,Kali , Arnis bevor i go to the German Army in the 80 and a lot of other Techniks

Chris did fantastic. Great drill to cover. We initially train this drill with the knife, and call it the bad arm, or “oh shit” drill, since it’s such a good panic/gross motor skill response. Applications cover the gamut. Great off of the loopy hook, with opportunities for numerous locks.

I was saying, I noticed he was using a overhand grip on the elbow when you were showing him a underhand grip by the end of the lesson I see he converted it back to the underhand grip I think it was a wonderful lesson I liked your video. I subscribed to your channel you have a fan good work.👍🏾🙏🏾🙌🏾

great video and great job by both! This stuff works in some situations. In a boxing match, I am skeptical of this working but maybe someone like Lomachenko who already likes to tear down boxing guards will find this technique from FMA. For me personally, it worked once in a self defense situation (we had been drilling this same technique in a JKD class I was going to) Bad guy went to grab me by the collar with his right hand and for some reason the technique just took over but I finished it with a right cross that broke his nose and ended the confrontation. Maybe it was a bit too much but the moment someone tries to put their hands on you I feel these sorts of things are not only useful but justifiable.

I think your partner is doing good. He’s a little stiff, that will work itself out, and due time during the technique after the blocks, you were controlling the elbow or the arm with a underhand grip he’s controlling it with an overhead grip he’s changing the technique. If you watch the video, you’ll see it but overall, I think it’s a good lesson, and you will get my thumbs up👍🏾🙏🏾
