Thank you for posting - my work kept me from seeing or hearing the game. What an amazing display of teamwork by a group with no NBA draft picks, and maybe one player who appeared in an NBA game...
That 2011 NIT was the Shockers' springboard under Gregg Marshall and they didn't look back! It's now 9 NCAA tournament wins later (Cinderella run to the '13 FF included) along with a run to the NIT semifinals in '19 with three consecutive victories on the road getting there! His run at Wichita has been remarkable! Consistency wise, they're probably the second standard of the mid-majors behind, of course, the Zags!
Brad Lewis no longer a mid major! That garbage term ended when we joined the AAC. Mid majors don’t pay their coaches 3.5 million a year (15th most in NCAA).
